Vintage black, handmade, crêpe & satin hat with a black velvet ribbon

That’s a unique piece! My husband picked this up at garage sale over the weekend and talked to the family who owned it. They were selling some of their great grandmothers belongings as they were getting ready to sell their home. The hat was purchased for and worn to the funeral of a loved one in the 1950s. Apart from that, it was stored in Woodward’s box. It is in excellent condition. The only tag in it is .”made in the USA”. The ribbon ties at the front of the hat.
