uggsplus hi! I'm very new and thought I might get some info on a recent sale I made. I sold a pair of UGG clogs and after a few weeks I got notification that the item had be cancelled. the item was with the buyer and had been for several weeks. How does this happen? I didn't know you could just cancel an item purchased keep it for almost a month then cancel the sale and return the item. thank you very much! Diana

I’ve never had that happen before but I don’t believe an order can be cancelled once it’s been accepted and rated by the buyer and after funds have been released to the seller. Did you receive the cancellation notice via email? What exactly did it say?

uggsplus I received the Clogs back today I got a message from the buyer stating she returned them due to late shipment but she wanted to purchase them again this week. I'm totally confused by all this purchase, cancelled, repurchase, etc. it made no sense.I thought it sounded like she wanted them to wear to an event or something. What's your take on it and what reasons are there to return an item? BTW, thank you for your help. Diana

meganmmclain @uggsplus if the return didn’t go through Poshmark, I wouldn’t do anything at all. There’s nothing you can do if the seller didn’t follow the rules. I’d keep the clogs and / or relist them and would not contact the buyer at all. When a buyer receives an item, they should review it immediately and then through the app either accept the order and give a rating or submit a case for a return.

meganmmclain @uggsplus Return cases are usually only approved by posh if an item was received differently than what was described in the listing (I.e. wrong size, wear that wasn’t listed etc). If a return case is opened both the buyer and seller will have an opportunity to “argue” whether or not the case should be approved and share photos to defend their case.

meganmmclain @uggsplus Once posh reviews the case, they’ll make a decision. If they side with the buyer, they’ll send them prepaid postage and they must return and ship the item within a certain amount of days. Once the buyer gets the item back believe they have to approve the return shipment to confirm they got the item back in the same condition they sent it. Hope that helps!
