aries_boutiqueHi Erica, Thanks for sharing my listing, so very kind of you. I've returned your kindness by following your closet and sharing your things with my followers. I love to share and follow! Hope you will do me the courtesy of following my closet as well. Thank you!!!

gigwornI love your closet. It's so fun and affordable. The box from you arrived today and you love everything. It was a little hard to sneak past my husband but once I put on the trucker hat all was forgiven. You sent me your number and I can't find it so sorry for posting here. I so enjoyed our chats and sorry for not texting. Feel free to touch base via Facebook or email me at Sheridan 109 at gmail. Cheers and happy almost Friday-almost! @ericaclapton

casamurf@ericaclapton Hiya! I am in love with the Orla Kiely bag you've listed, and I was wondering, if you would consider holding that one for me for a day or two? I currently have several items out on their way to new owners, so (some of) those Poshmark credits should hit my account tomorrow, and I would then pounce right away. :-) Of course, I do fully understand, if you don't do holds. Just let me know, if you don't mind. :-) Continued happy poshing. :-)

ericaclapton@poshionistas - Thanks sister. Glad to know another who spreads love instead of hate ❤

Oct 13Reply

poshionistas@ericaclapton So needed right now. I try to be a constant badass beam of peace, love, compassion, and tolerance. I am a first responder in The Army of Love and Gratitude.

Oct 13Reply

ericaclapton@poshionistas - That's so cool. Tolerance is rare here in central Texas so every day is a challenge here.

Oct 13Reply

poshionistas@ericaclapton I am just out of Portland, Or. across the river. Grew up in P-Town. Do you get "Portlandia"?

Oct 13Reply

poshionistas@ericaclapton Portland is tragically hip. Beards are required on men and some women, it is illegal to shave legs, IF you find a restaurant that serves meat, the menu must have a picure of the animal you are going to eat w/name of the animal, special nicknames, where raised, friends etc.

Oct 13Reply

ericaclapton@poshionistas - Ugh. I'm from SF so I totally understand. Guess there's no perfect place to live or we'd all be there.

Oct 13Reply

poshionistas@ericaclapton Ha ha that's an exaggeration, like the show Portlandia, but not far off. Reall the biggest problem is the homeless, libs like me are, well, libs and don't necessarily have all the answers. But we aren't mean greedy poopheads. The number 45 comes to mind.

Oct 13Reply

ericaclapton@poshionistas - I hear ya. I'm surrounded by NRA repubs and I stick out like a sore thumb. I love it.

Oct 13Reply

evolvingalwaysI want to use on Facebook if that is okay?

Oct 18Reply

ericaclapton@evolvingalways - Absolutely. Share the love.

Oct 18Reply

evolvingalways@ericaclapton Thank you!

Oct 18Reply

ericaclapton@evolvingalways - Do you mind if I ask you a question about boutiques vs closets?

Oct 18Reply

evolvingalways@ericaclapton Sure

Oct 18Reply

ericaclapton@evolvingalways - Have you tried selling used stuff in your closet prior to purchasing boutique items? If so, is there a dramatic income increase? In other words, is it worth the investment of opening a boutique?

Oct 18Reply

evolvingalways@ericaclapton In the beginning I did just sell my items but I enjoyed it so much that I started thrifting to sell. I was still working in corporate America at the time. At the end of the day both are boutiques one may be rare to find nice items while other items are new straight from wholesale. I have friends that just thrift and have very few “boutique” items. To be successful you just need a lot of inventory no matter how you got it.

Oct 18Reply

evolvingalwaysI hope that answers your question. A pro of buying wholesale is buy items you like and keep an item for yourself and be a walking advertisement.

Oct 18Reply

evolvingalwaysYou have a lot of inventory so you are doing great!

Oct 18Reply

ericaclapton@evolvingalways - Thank you. Well thought out and knowledgeable answer. Guess I'll know when/if the time comes to move in another direction.

Oct 18Reply

evolvingalways@ericaclapton You could always start small get a few items see how it does.

Oct 18Reply

ericaclapton@evolvingalways - Ya. Good point.
