dianesteinberg How it works - at the very bottom of the main page, to the right, click on “ Company” and then click on “How it Works” Follow and share as many people as you can-odds are they will share your items also - you'll build up a "following". Last: several times a day there are "parties" - they are specific to certain categories & last about 2 hours. Items that fit in that category you should share to parties - you want your things to be seen

There are scammers out there who will ask you to contact them through their e-mail, or text, or anywhere outside of Poshmark - doing that really sets you up to be scammed - Easiest thing to say is "I only sell through Poshmark" or "Just contact me through Poshmark" - they really seek out new people.

dianesteinberg I grew up in New York - Mount Vernon, Long Island and Brooklyn (and 2 years in Philadelphia before moving to NJ) - I still get a lot of "where in NY are you from?" questions - You can take the person out of NY but the accent remains (and most of my friends here are originally from NY) - Cost of living is less expensive and the schools are highly rated

poshlovinggal @dianesteinberg Hmmm, very interesting. So’s this, I think - my husband had a rough childhood growing up in Jersey City. He went alone into NYC all the time as a child—imagine that?!?! At one point, still a kid, he determined to lose the accent, and that he did! I only hear it occasionally, when he uses it on purpose. I was far enough from the city that I never had that “Joisey” accent, lol!

dianesteinberg @knollsriverview I do have fun playing with and exaggerating the "New Yawk" accent - since so many friends are from NY it's hard to realize I have that accent - I can't imagine going into NYC as a kid - it is like no other place in the world - thousands of people crossing a street - it's like being stuck in traffic but you're walking!

taggedvintage @knollsriverview I haven't used them personally but I do own both bracelets and necklaces with built in magnetic clasps. They definitely are easier to fasten with out help. I'm not sure about heavier pieces and pieces of great value - not sure I would take the gamble of trusting them to magnets.
