eileenr @courtneyy4 hi there! I actually wore them both ways. They're great for swimming because they're polyester, they don't absorb very much water. They're great if you want just a little cover up. I also wore them out to casual places. I also have a red pair listed that I used the same way

courtneyy4 @eileenr Yeah, I was wanting a pair to wear with like a tanktop or a dressy top. Do you think these would be fine for that? & also, where they have the buttons, do they actually button?
