blandw @scarlettstained some people look at the dress but I noticed your antique desk!!! Haha! That's me... A bit bit backwards for sure. But I adore antiques! We used to live outside of London so I have some lovely English pieces. Here in the US people call anything over about 40 years an "antique", but my oldest piece is circa 1680. Now that's an old gal that has aged well! I hope I'll age with character and beauty as well as some of my furniture. Haha! Oh well, enough of my rambling.... Have a blessed and beautiful Sunday. 🙏👼😇

scarlettstained @blandw girl your like me!!! I always look at the background!!! I'm an antiques collector .we visited Ireland and Londons castles in October and wow!!!! I was drooling at the giant armoires 12 ft tall and tables that seat 20!! And amazing music boxes with small coffee tables built around and wet bar! Just things we in USA rarely see.I love antiques I want to add on my house just to fill it with more of them!but I am happy with what I've got and feel blessed but I always dream big!! Sometimes my dreams come true!!!I'll tag you on the bed I saw at a castle

blandw @scarlettstained OMGoodness! You ARE like me!! My favorite era is the Renaissance and Medieval times as well. One of my favorite antiques that I bought is a English coffer (blanket chest) from about 1680. I love to envision the girl's dowry in this chest. Some fabrics, a few ribbons... all of the things that were considered of value to a girl in that era.
