kayceemarie @newclothes hello! Sorry for the delayed response, I just got a break from work. Well I'm still pretty new to this, so I don't know if there's a better way...but what I did at the beginning was just follow tons and tons of people. I just went to other people's followers and went down the list and hit follow. If you'll notice, I'm following a lot more people than the number of followers I have. But some people will follow back. Also, I try to share other people's items as much as possible and some of them will share mine. Just interact with people as much as possible and follow tons of closets! That's all I did. Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm still learning myself, but I'm happy to help in any way that I can! 😊

kayceemarie @radishchild I don't know if there's a better way, but what I did was just follow TONS of people by going to other people's followers lists and hitting "follow" over and over down the list. It takes some time, and as you can see not all of them follow back (I don't have near as many followers as the number of people I'm following), but it's a good start. Then if I have time when people follow me, I try to go to their closets and share a couple of items...that encourages them to maybe share some of my items (and then they might see something they like in the process). You can also share things in your newsfeed for people, and sometimes they'll return the favor. As far as parties go, I try to share my items to the party (if they fit the theme). Sometimes it seems helpful, especially during the nighttime parties. Hope this helps, sorry it's so long! Haha 😊

kayceemarie @kas434 hi! Well I'm pretty much a shopaholic, so I'm mostly just clearing out my closet. But if I'm out and see something I think my fellow poshers would like, sometimes I'll pick it up. My best advice is to just follow lots of people and share their items, and some of them will return the favor. That's what I did when I started. Then just make sure you have nice, well-lit cover photos, and be available to answer anyone's questions as much as possible. I also highly recommend sticking to the rules (no PayPal, no trades) - I think that's part of why I was a suggested user for about a week, which is where I gained most of my followers. Good luck! 😊

And I've been on since December...I was a suggested user and gained like 100k followers a couple months after I started. Now they've changed the suggested user system and I'm a SU again but I don't gain as many followers from it.

kayceemarie @s2crystals thanks love! Well I think they select suggested users based on cover shots, what items you have for sale and so on, but a lot of it is also about following the rules and being a kind, helpful member of the Poshmark community. I'm not sure exactly how they pick them though!

kayceemarie @shorty3794 hi and welcome to Poshmark! Well my first advice is to follow Poshmark guidelines. No designer replicas, no PayPal and no trades (they're not supported by Poshmark). Using PayPal can cause your posh account to be shut down! And be active on the app - follow people, share their items and it will eventually lead to sales! It seems like the more active I am on the app, the more sales I have...it's not enough to just sit back and wait for things to sell. I hope this helps!

kayceemarie @shorty3794 I'm not sure what you mean...whatever the tag says in the pants, that's how you would list it. So if it's an 8, list it as that, or if it's a 29 (or whatever waist size), then list it that way. 😊
