I think some of us work way to hard and are limited to get ripped off. Well at least i do and am... So here are some ways to protect yourself from fake bottles out there. oink1955@nuna2809 love your post, very helpful. I work for Customs where we seize many many fakes and in some circumstances we destroy them on-site. If you could see the way these fakes are lined with cardboard as not even good quality cardboard. I have to admit China is starting to make the fakes a little better but you can still spot a fake if you know what to look for. Thanks again

sammi0816I got scammed at Xmas. Look up address of seller and it was a foreclosure home in Detroit. I was called a liar when I mailed the fake back and he said that it was an empty box. After I involved the police he finally approved my return. A total mess. I collect perfume so I know my smells and it was god awful. If your wearing Chanel and don’t get one compliment then it’s fake. This stuff is a completely noticeable so be aware! Thanks for posting this that’s amazing!

horans@nuna2809 yeah the wording is different but I read somewhere that that was possible. In looking at my bottle I just discovered it says tester very lightly on the back! I can post a pic if you'd like :)

Notify Posh do not buy through paypal! so that you can return it and get your money back. Sometimes they price them low and don't respond so that you buy with out the admitting the are not authentic. poopypooh@nuna2809 Hi I know this post is kind of old but I don't know who else to ask and can't figure it out on my own. I recently bought a bottle that was 1.2 oz off another seller. My question is, is my bottle fake because on Sephora it says the 1.2 oz does not come in the original bottle, it will come in a flacon style. But the bottle I bought off the seller was in its original form as a 1.2oz. I can't find the original bottle anywhere online like it in that ounce. Not even on eBay.

Needless to say I couldn’t get My money back because when I disputed it Poshmark said I recurved the item. I still have it, in the same Pa leaving they sent it in and still no resolution. I should had known that you cannot purchase Chanel for $60 dollars when I always go to Ulta or Sephora. Shame on myself.

pkjornSpeaking only for myself - the hell w their toes if someone is stealing. We, none of us can afford to have our security stolen. The amount of anxiety day to day is plenty for most of us. Shop = fun. Don’t want to have to consider schmucks just then . This idea of taking bc you feel you can ? rebornrev@nuna2809 Thanks for posting this. I was recently scammed and knew it before they even shipped it. Just got it yesterday. I’ve also posted about these scammers. There’s actually one person with multiple accounts, and I’ve exposed all of them. I’m also going to report them to the IPR dept of the FBI. Their return address is an empty lot, but hopefully Poshmark can provide information, especially if they applied for boutique status.

jollyrollyholly@vnugent you can actually authenticate listings here on Poshmark to help the website out! I do all the time. cause ya I can in some brands spot A fake almost just by looking at one picture. LV is the most obvious to me. the problem is that counterfeiters these days actually spend alot of money on their fakes. where the quality is actually really good.

I was scammed here back in December for over $380 for an 18K Versace Medusa ring. that turned out to be brass. but I had all sorts of screenshots of me specifically clarifying its authenticity, and of Erica Snows own daughter saying it was fake that she was with her mom when she bought it.

jollyrollyholly@jackiesoto720 but I recieved it over the christmas holiday weekend while I was gone with family. when shoppers were granted that extra time period. but buyers weren't even though it came 2 weeks later than it should've. I reported it on the 3rd day but they had released my payment already. I raised Hell! I would not relent on the matter and emailed them several times a day. I got ahold of Pissed Off Cosumer I threatened with the police and the news!

"luckily I was smart and made sure I had the ting with me" Poshmark had me mail the ring directly to them in San fransisco to be authenticated. which took some time but within 2 weeks I had a full refund. which they wouldnt let me forget "WAS NOT PART OF THEY'RE USUAL PROCESS" if they hadn't been willing to do that i wouldn't still be shopping here.
