And for thinking of me - I have recently started a trial med in shot form a type of steroid I think suppose to help repair cells but I buy from the laboratory because not FDA approved yet - doesn't bother me it's not because they approve stuff that kills people daily :-)

coach_fan @radiomaxx Damnit!! I hate MS! I've hade it for 9 years and I hate it more every day. The fact that other ppl just can't understand it drives me crazy. It's an invisible disease. Unless your having an attack

jenamber @coach_fan hi, not trying to be nosy, this just caught my eye. My husband's best friend has MS and just thought I'd ask about the newer medications and do some research for you. Just thought you may share about some of the newer meds you have tried, I am a nurse and just trying to help:)

coach_fan @jenamber I HAVE BEEN ON EVERYTHING!! LITERALLY!!!! I'm 30. I was dx 5-5-04. When I was dx I already had 378 lesions on my brain. Now I have so many they can't even count. I have one that takes up a large section if my brain. It's rough. I'm on disability. My two children and my self live on that which isn't much so I try to do this. But it's been VERY SLOW lately. No one wants to buy anything. I have acquired sooooo many clothes that a large section on my room looks like hoarders! Lol!!! But they are all name brand. I just haven't had the energy to list every thing I have. So did your husbands friend die from MS? If so how old was he and what complications did he have ?

jenamber @coach_fan I appreciate you sharing that. Our friend is still hanging in there. He was diagnosed in his late 30's and is 54 now. He actually works for my husband when he can at our boat marina, that is when he can afford to get his infusion which only gives him some relief for about 2 weeks. He had a great paying job but after realizing how much his medical bills were going to be, they conveniently found a reason to let him go. So, he can only get the meds he needs as he can afford it. They are our next door neighbors also and we just try to help them in every way we can. I wish you the best, hang in there and keep hope!

crystal001 @jenamber I was just let go from my job for something ridiculous and my cousin said it wasn't me it was my healthcare bills from last year! If it wasn't for Obama I wouldn't have health care right now. So sad!

neeceeg72 @coach_fan im sorry to hear of your ms i have it too! no one understands thats the most frustrating part first you have to deal with the whole situation and deal with people who don't even understand! prayers! im on copaxone and dont feel its working ive had 3 flares in 2 months! i know stress doesnt make it better! I was diagnosed five years ago but I know I've had it longer! every day is different day!
