angieirene I'm new and wondering why sellers don't like PayPal? I use it for my eBay acct and haven't had any problems, is it used differently here on poshmark??

jessica1219 @angieirene welcome to poshmark. Taking PayPal is against the rules on posh because it cheats them out of their 20% commission. Also, it doesn't protect the buyer as well as purchasing through the app does. A lot of sellers accept it because they make more money using it but its not fair to poshmark as they work hard and allow us to make contacts through the app so they're entitled to their piece of the sale. PayPal is great for other purposes like eBay but a lot of buyers have also been scammed when taking transactions off poshmark and then there's nothing posh can do to help. rockinrobyn I absolutely l❤️VE your closet! I was in tears looking at the wonderful items with SOLD signs on them!😢 I see you can get a variety of sizes and different items. I wear a size 9 shoe. I would love a pair of Michael Kors slip on shoes. Not red.... I love brown and black though. The $50 or so range is what I'm looking for. I also wear a size 10-12 in jeans. More of a 12 right now. If you can get ahold of some good denim, I'll buy! I'm 36 and have been ill for over 4 yrs. I gained 60 lbs. in about 1 1/2 yrs.... I've lost 20 - 25 lbs. but my on all the different medicines and treatments (including Prednisone...😝😝) I keep wavering in size, it breaks my heart...💔 And seriously, I barely eat. It's too painful to exercise and not advised. I also have a lung disease called Sarcoidosis. My lungs are full of granulomas, it is similar to cancer b/c it spreads to your organs and body systems and stops them from working. 😖 it's in my nervous system, muscles, joints, bones and marrow, my skin and even affects my eyes.... I get Uveitis.... It makes my actual eyeballs swell up, it's so painful. I have 3 children, I don't know what I would do without my parents, I thank The Lord for them every day. 🙏 My husband has to work triple time since I am now disabled so my children stay with my parents. They live 2 miles away. Slowly as something's get better, I pick them up from school, help with homework and can cook now maybe twice a week if I can handle it. I believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel someday and we can be a family again. This has been SO HARD on my marriage. People think their loved ones would rally around them if they fell seriously ill... But sadly I can say that is not always the case. Many people tend to get sick of others being sick... like it's something that can be controlled. Since it's not "cancer", even doctors aren't sure how to treat my illness. Actually, I have 9 auto-immune diseases in all. When it rains, it POURS. I can tell you, I am optimistic, I refuse to let ANYONE get me down. 😇 My closet will be up soon. I have a lot of dressy clothes without any use to me now! I have a really hard time getting out to shop... let alone even helping out with grocery shopping! I'm so glad I found Poshmark! The seller can put all the items you like into on listing for you to buy so you only pay shipping once. Most sellers will also offer a discount if you bundle and purchase more than one item from their closet. Let me know if you have any other questions or like anything in my closet :)

jessica1219 @martalaura i used an app called instaframe and made the message and then used it as a listing in my closet the same why you'd add an item to sell it. There are a lot of free apps you can use to design cute signs to use for listings. Hope that helps!

jessica1219 @brittany_lena Welcome to poshmark! You're gonna love it!! People pay via credit card through the poshmark app. Their money goes into the sellers balance but is not redeemable until the item sold is delivered to the buyer with no issues (they have three days after receiving purchase to dispute if there's an issue). If you buy something and it isn't as described, posh will take care of it for you if you don't accept the item as purchased. The only way to get scammed is to take a transaction off poshmark and do a PayPal or private transaction. This is against posh rules and offers the buyer no protection. It also helps if you share other peoples listings and many will also share your items in return, thus expanding the audience of prospective buyers that see your items for sale.

jessica1219 @tamaraehlert Sure! I'd be happy to help! To get your closet in order by categories, you have to first make listing that have the headings like tops, pants, dresses etc. Then each time you share an item, it goes to the top of your closet. So you would want to share all the pants, then the pants header. Then share all the dresses and then the dress header. Does that make sense? I always share my whole closet, starting from the bottom so it stays in the correct order. As far as making more sales, you want to have a large variety of listings to appeal to many buyers. Also, you want to take off any illegal items like health and beauty and non women's clothing because that will eventually cause you to become banned from posh by the moderators. Finally, share as many items as possible from other users and follow as many as you can to help raise your closest exposure. Hope that helps a bit!
