terry23Anyway to stop this before you send it?? I'm sorry I've overspent on my cc & just got the statement today?!!!'b

May 02Reply

terry23That's fine! It's ok. I have the money but I've spent too much on my credit card & I was trying to stop the last few purchases I made. I spent the past Several hours trying to figure out what Posh Mark charges are on here & they don't match up!! I've sent e-mail to customer support with no response yet. Not your problem. I'm the spender & he's the saver! After 37 years of marriage you'd think he'd be used to it by now! If I had it to do all over again I would never get married! Lol

May 02Reply

mskeeks@terry23 lol! I know what you mean, I'm the spender in my relationship too. 😔 Oh no! I know, it's really frustrating that there is no number you can call to speak to someone at Posh. If the charges don't add up then you should call your CC to dispute them. they'll answer but it may be 2-3 days before they do.

May 02Reply

terry23You sound like the kind of young woman I wish I had grown up to be instead of letting a man tell me what I should do or not do. I'll be 56 in June & I've been size 6 from a size 16 for the past 3 yrs thru weight watchers! I love clothes fashion shopping anything that sparkles & am a very happy uplifting person even tho I've had MS for the past 23 years. Now I can't drive or go anywhere by myself. We're both retired with very good incomes! But he is truly a taurus and has to run the whole show. When I had to medically retire after 25 years of making $ 75,000 of my own I had the freedom to come & go on my own time & spend what I wanted. I never ever used the credit card. Now it's the only way I get to shop & pretend life is a little normal for me. Sorry to burden you with this but you sound like such a sweet soul& I think we might have been friends in diff circumstances! I like all things old rustic & vintage! Clothes home Devore TV shows! We lived in England growing up & then in Germany for 4 years After we were newly married! We went to the real Follies Bergere When we went to Paris for a weekend trip! We saw so much old ruins & places where history was made! Now I like to watch Antique Road Show & Junkyard Dog Shows on DIY! But anyway I'll stop for now I know I run on& on. Bye

May 02Reply

mskeeks@terry23 aw, thanks for your kind words! you have had such an inspiring life it sounds like! I, unfortunately, have not been out of the states but dream about it all the time. 😔✨ my ultimate goal is to combine my appreciation for fashion and my love for travel and be able to survive. then I could say l've lived a fulfilling life! 😁 congratulations on the weight lost! if there is anything in particular you like let me know and I could keep my eyes peel for you.. I live in the fashion district in Los Angeles so we have all kinds of sorts. That's funny that you mentioned we could have been friends in other circumstances because I get told a lot I have an old soul and barely connect with people my own age. 😉Lol! I also love antique shows! Haha.. Especially Storage Wars.. I just love that things back then were built to last and now everything is disposable. 😔 Do you ever come to LA? Where about in Vegas are you? 🌻🌹🌷

May 02Reply

terry23We live in the very furthest northwest part, we're the last exit on I95 before getting off to go to Mount Charleston. We lived in Summerlin for 10 years when my son started 2nd grade and he graduated from the HS Palo Verde in 2004. We had moved from the SE corner which had started becoming very rundown with graffiti crime & a large influx of Hispanic youth in public schools. We moved not really thinking we could afford it to get our son in the best public schools we could. I'm trying not to sound like a racist because I'm not & we didn't raise our son that way. But we were married so young that we waited till we were married 10 years & had come back to the states & given up the free& fun traveling years. We were told he Didn't need the teacher's help at our very 1st parent/teacher nite, he was already smart enough & didn't need her help! Her students learning English as 2nd language needed her help more! He eventually became an only child but didn't know the difference. He would come home & tell us could he take 2 drinks or treats or chips or whatever we put in his lunch bag. He wanted to share with his friend he sat with at lunch because he didn't have enough to eat! He had all the basics & more & has never to this day asked us for money toys or material things. He's always been content with what he had & now has. He's 26 & I'm very proud of him. He spends a lot of time with us. We're very close even tho we're a small family. My husband was born here in 1956 & I came out here to visit him & his family in Sept 1975 after I graduated. Although I hate the heat in the summers here now. And we have a beautiful backyard & pool. But I never go in the sun & haven't swam (?) for the past 2 summers. Nicky comes over with his friends uses the pool BBQ's & I sit out there & talk to them. I like his friends, they're really nice Mormon young couple w/3small children. All boys!! We used to go to CA a lot when Nicky was little to go to Disney Land, Knttsberry Farms, Universal, San Diego Zoo, Sea world, etc. We did whatever we thought he would love to do took pictures of it & I scrap booked it! We went to Mexico every summer, Purta Vuyarta, (sp) Cozumel, then Can Cun! Then we found the the lower part south of Cancun! It was more family oriented. We went about 4 summers straight. And stayed in the same hotel, all inclusive, and went on different tours each time. When he started working in the summers as life guard that all stopped. Then he made the JV football team then the Varsity FT. he lettered in 9th grade in Swimming but wouldn't let us get his letterman's jacket until he earned it in a real sport "like Football or Wresting as a Junior or Senior". " Swimming isn't cool enough Mom." It was years before went on a long weekend trip just for ourselves to San Francisco, we'd never been! Had a great time & saw Wicked & all the other touristy stuff and we did a 2 week Princess cruise to the Hawaiian Islands in Feb 2012. We've talked about going on another one to Alaska this year maybe.

jerrahmiah@mskeeks ok, so I admit to creeping on your blog it was absolutely AMAZING. Your pictures are perfect and unique I felt like I knew you within a page! This may seem weird but I felt so connected to your insights and your quotes and I just wanted to say that I will be keeping up with your absolutely unwonted blog and that I hope we can become real friends😊

May 04Reply

mskeeks@jerrahmiah ohmygosh, thank you do much! your kinds words are much appreciate! 😊and it's so not weird at all, haha! do you live in California??

May 04Reply

mskeeksso*

May 04Reply

jerrahmiahMy brother lives in San Francisco so I've visited him from dreary east coast Hahaha! There's not much of an emphasis on fashion over here which I HATE! Your blog is such great inspiration!

May 04Reply

xcatchtwenty2x@mskeeks hi there- this is probably none of my business, but I noticed you commenting on the free people slip that the seller was claiming to have cost $600. I have that exact one, it's not a one of a kind, retailed for $98 two and a half years ago. Just thought you might want a heads up.

May 05Reply

mskeeks@jerrahmiah aww, thanks so much missy! that means more to me than you know. thank YOU for inspiring me! 😊🌻✨ .. I grew up in the east coast .. Boston to be exact! 😊

May 05Reply

jerrahmiah😱 I live right around there! My sister goes to college there too so I'm always in and out! How did you end up in California if you don't mind me asking😊

May 05Reply

mskeeks@jerrahmiah oh, small world! ok, to be exact, exact I grew up in Worcester but I say Boston cause no one knows where Worcester is, but you should! 😊🌻i moved out here 7 years ago for college and the weather has kept me here, lol. I still come back home some times cause my family and childhood friends are all still there. ✨

May 05Reply

jerrahmiahWowowowowo I live an hour away from there! Hahahaha I just want to get away from these cold winters and go to California! And I know how you feel, i feel like growing up in a small town really changes your outlook on life! What kind of music do you like chicka?

May 05Reply

mskeeks@jerrahmiah wow! 😱 lol! what city do you live in? I love coming home to visit but I could never stay for more than a week 😜 the place drives me nuts, haha! I grew up segregated from other ethnicities and race because that was just how things worked. In turn a lot of people would join gangs for protection and for a sense of belonging. In some ways a lot of people grew up without a sense of self because they conformed to what's accepted and what's not. that was my "small-town" thinking growing up. Lol. Then I moved here and felt like I could be anyone, think anything and i am bound to find someone as crazy as I am 😁. Isn't that what this city is made up of anyways? A bunch of passionate crazies 😉 .. I listen to a lot of singer/songwriter stuff. My favorite artists are Passenger, Brett Dennen and Keith Urban. I also listen to a lot of non mainstream music and European singer/ songwriter stuff too. What about yourself? Do you have a baby girl?? 😄

May 06Reply

mskeeks@jerrahmiah is that your baby girl?? 😄

May 06Reply

jerrahmiahHahaha no that was a professor's daughter that visited my house! And i live in longmeadow which is near springfield. I completely understand what your saying: there isn't much diversity and self expression so I just want to do bigger things and travel and explore! As for music I have an extremely weird obsession with French music so I got SUPER excited when you said European songwriter stuff😂 I have less mainstream music too! I love blind pilot, friendly fires, the kooks and I love classical! Hahaha it's a weird mix I know! What else do you out and about in California besides taking breathtaking pictures on your wild adventures?😛

May 06Reply

mskeeks@jerrahmiah ah, i absolutely love the kooks! =) before they became well known in the states my room mate and i would never miss a show! but the french music i wanna try. do you have some suggestions? i enjoy a strange array of music too but whatever, no one ever likes the same genre of movies, right?! i mean on top of everything i love drake too! haha .. my ultimate goal in life is to be able to travel and see the world too! i just have to figure out a way to do so and still be able to survive. i actually don't get to go on as many adventures as you think! .. but thank you for inspiring me to start wandering again! =) but reality is my life revolves in and around the fashion industry - which is why i also originally moved to los angeles. unfortunately the company i was working for closed down in february because my boss couldn't handle the stress of balancing a lawyer job and being a business owner. so now im just taking some time off to reevaluate things, possible start something on my own .. crazy, when i was younger i thought i would have everything figured out by now but im really only barely starting! lol .. what about yourself? what do you do? what nationality are you? =)

May 07Reply

mollydollyWow I love the color effects of that first picture! So pretty! What app is that?

May 08Reply

jerrahmiahAHH THAT'S AMAZING I've yet to go to a concert! That is too crazy. And I'm so glad I could help you find new passion! My family and I have decided to go to France this summer so I'm so excited for the culture and change if atmosphere! As for French artists, I think you would like Carla bruni and zaz who are acoustic and raw. Also I'm in high school right now! 😉 The real world is still unreal to me hahaha! And I'm Chinese et toi?

May 09Reply

jerrahmiahAlso I listened to Brett Dennen and passenger and they're awesome! Thanks!😚

maca88@mskeeks another great closet! 👍 we need more of that❤️

Jan 23Reply

donnacloset@mskeeks I will trade with you only right now I have been getting so much drama with some girls expecting over night delivery that it has upset me that is why I said no trades but you are different

Jan 23Reply

mskeeks@donnacloset ahh. sorry to hear that, Donna. I hate drama!! :( let me know if you see anything for trade for the novella slips? I think you only have a medium left but I'm hoping they'll fit since everyone says they run small. Hopefully the other person gets their package soon so they know you've been honest all along. Usps causes half the drama on Posh. Lol :) xoxo

Jan 30Reply

mskeeksaw, i'll keep my eyes out for any spell that may show up, but it's so rare! :( so far they seem to be tts. the storm tassel kimono is OS and i thought it was a little big for me as an xs

daska6This is so cute! I have some questions about it - what's your email address?

Feb 20Reply

mskeeks@poshmark hi Poshmark! this user above - @daska6 has been asking me for my email in numerous listings. I think this person is a scammer here to collect emails. Just wanted to bring to your attention!

Feb 20Reply

mskeekshi ladies! the user above - @daska6 has been asking me for my email address in numerous listings with the same message. I think this person is a scammer here to collect emails. Just wanted to bring it to your attention. thank you! xo @pmeditors

Feb 20Reply

notanalienIf you ever decide to let go of that skirt I will trade for my novella royale pants 😊

Feb 21Reply

mskeeks@notanalien thanks for the offer! unfortunately all the pieces I acquired from the shoot were gifts and special to me so I'm not selling them :) if you see anything else let me know. 🌻 xo and happy Friday!!

Feb 21Reply

notanalien💙I understand and I will keep a look out

Feb 21Reply

mskeeks@notanalien how do you like them? do they fit? :)

Feb 22Reply

notanalienSo, the only reason I got them is because I'm losing weight, my butt however isn't lol. So every time I bend down you can see my business. I love them enough to not resell them but I love that skirt even more! I already own 3 floral novella royal pants/jumpsuits and love collecting them. I will have to give in and buy the skirt next month 😜 knowing myself if I still don't feel comfortable with how low cut they are on me I will let you know and sort out a deal. They're truly amazing🌷

Feb 22Reply

mskeeks@notanalien they look cute on you! :)

runwiththehuntewow, thanks so much for the follow! you have a great closet! and you're so pretty! 💞

Apr 07Reply

kmkcollectionHi! I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore your closet! I love the simplicity in your covershots and also how it captures the essence of your personality, despite the fact that I don't know you personally. It's one of my favorites on posh and (as cheesy as it sounds) I'm so honored that you followed me!! lol

Apr 07Reply

mskeeks@kmkcollection thanks for the wonderful comment Kimmy! Your closet is beautiful :)

Apr 07Reply

Apr 12Reply

coldfoxgal@mskeeks do u have any arnhem or spell gypsy? Lmk xx :))

Apr 16Reply

misssuzy@mskeeks I figured it would be rude to discuss anther top on someone's listing. Eek 😳 Need your opinion on the Bolinas top - how does it fit? Thinking I'll just do a special order. Let me know if you can! Xox 😘🌻

Apr 16Reply

mskeeks@misssuzy surprisingly it's a perfect fit. I was worried because JPB is always a hit or miss but I didn't find the top to be too big at all. you should place that special order! ❤️

Apr 16Reply

misssuzy@mskeeks good golly. It fits! Dang. Now I'm def in a pickle! I was deciding on either getting the off shoulder JPB top and having them dye it for me in tie dye or just get the Bolinas in tie dye. The Bolinas is soooo expensive too. Blegh 😭

Ahh :) other than that i'm just still trying to travel as much as I can while I still can, LOL. How have you been?! Any exciting plans for the summer? <3

penelopemmaKiki! Haha its Penelope, the girl who bought that bundle from you off storenvy :) i didnt know you have a posh account lol. I'm still obsessing over your close btw, too much cuteness!

Aug 07Reply

mskeeks@penelopemma hi Penelope! Wow! Crazy, small world! I didn't even realize it was your closet when I followed you this morning!! 💕 Yes, I've had Poshmark for over a year now. I took three months off since I wasn't around much and wanted to take a little time off posh. But now I'm back hoping to sell or trade some of my stuff. Planning a girl's trip to Palm Springs with some lovely Posh ladies so I could use the cash! :) llllllooooovveee your closet by the way! we should hang out sometimes! It was meant to be 😘 xo

Aug 07Reply

penelopemmaWow what a coincidence I've had my posh for the same amount of time and took some time off as well, just started uploading items again yesterday actually! Poshmark is a great way to make extra cash, reselling stuff is actually how I make all my spending money lol. Aw thank you for the compliment, I'm still really amateur but your storenvy really inspired me so hopefully I can get things going half as well as you have! That would be awesome! I'm still pretty new to LA and haven't really made any friends yet so i would definitely love too! 💛 I just saw you found me on IG so we can connect through there 😘

Sep 26Reply

poppy64@mskeeks So happy to see Your most awesome closet up and running again! Except that most are too small for me, so I can repeatedly fall in love only to be left heartbroken 💔 Lol... How are things going with You!?!?! This picture is so stunning Kiki, I saw it on Your Instagram and on FP, I was going to comment on Your IG but the last time I tried to comment on there my little grandson jumped up in the middle of Me while I was typing and I posted something retarded, ughhhh.... Story of my life though, gotta love em! Let Me know what wonderful adventures You've been up to when You have time! ❤️ Kathy

Oct 07Reply

samnl94I absolutely love your style! Your closet is by far my favorite! I need a friend with your style to help me shop! I also love your instagram as well. Your photos rock!

Oct 08Reply

mskeeks@sam_leslie94 hey Sam! Aw, thanks so much for your sweet comment and following me on Instagram! love your closet as well! and congrats on hosting your first posh party - you are going to have so much fun!! :) xxx

Oct 09Reply

samnl94@mskeeks Thank you! My closet doesn't reflect my style anymore, but I think that the stuff should go to someone who would love it more :) I love your style, but I haven't found the right places to shop within my part time working college student budget sadly! I wish my closet looked like yours! The way you set it up and take your photos is neat! I have some things in my posh closet that go with my style but just don't fit, but overall, my style has changed from what you see in my posh closet. And thanks for the support on the upcoming party! It's my first & I'm excited! I'm hoping to re-vamp my closet before so my listings will look better!
