lilacrose @stacyhorn1 Poshmark is a really safe app for buyers and sellers. Sometimes people have abandoned closets, so you may buy something but the seller may not send it. If this happens they don't get paid and you'll get a refund after 10 days!

lilacrose @lvprincess it's a little confusing at first! Browse around and see if you get the hang of it! Selling is easy, just take pics of your item, describe as accurately as you can, pointing out any flaws if any, and list! Your feed will be items shared by people you're following. You can also search for specific items you may be interested in! Let me know if you have any specific questions!

lilacrose @angelalorainne yes ma'am! Go to your feed then at the top you will see a magnifying glass icon. Hit that and type in anything you are looking for key words like purple or Marc Jacobs. You can also use filter to specify sizes!

lilacrose @ajjc214 you can bundle several ways! Some people list the items or use an app like pic collage to show which items in the closet the buyer is purchasing. You can create a new listing for this or just edit an existing one! Then you change price to whatever amount you agreed to and voila! It's ready for buyer to purchase!

annsc @alyxzandra if the buyer didn't put "reserved" on the listing themselves, and it says it in a yellow bar where it usually says sold, it means that someone is in the process of paying for the item. ☺😉

They happen at 9am (usually brand specific) and 12 noon (item specific likes shoes, bags, denim etc) and 7pm is the themed party where you can share any brand and any item that suits the theme! You can also shop at the parties bcz many other users will be sharing items!

lilacrose @asyndx0 if you go to your listing, there's a share option, you can share to 9am if it fits the brand, the noob party if it fits the category (denim, shoes, bags) and the 7pm is a theme but its not brand specific or category specific so you can share all your items!

Hahahha you just never know who will follow back, check out your closet and be interested! Also you can search for items similar to yours and see the people who have liked those items and follow them, maybe if they're still looking, tag them and say, " I saw you liked something like this" etc etc

lilacrose @designerdiva1 hi! Bundle is more than 1 item in someone's closet! You bundle Them together in one listing to save buyer on shipping, they only pay it once! I usually use an app pic stitch to make a collage of all the things the buyer wants and change price to whatever we agree upon. Then I change the prices on the other individual listings by adding a Zero or two so no one else buys them

lilacrose @tammyk289 trades are actually not supported by Poshmark. But this is how many do it, they agree on the items for trade set the price at zero so each person only pays shipping. However, many users have gotten scammed this way. They'll send their item but the other person won't. In my opinion research the users closet to make sure they have done successful trades and sales in the past. Again though, if the trade goes wrong, Poshmark will not support you as a buyer or seller. So trade at your own risk pretty much!

lilacrose @tannyboo PayPal is against Poshmark policy. If you keep your transactions on Poshmark, all your transactions are protected. Many people have had bad transactions through PayPal where the seller doesn't send the item and Poshmark cannot help you because you took the transaction offline. Through Poshmark, the seller doesn't get paid till the buyer receives the item and makes sure it comes as described!

lilacrose @dollyw the yellow reserved sign actually pops up when someone is buying the item, so it gives the time to complete the transaction without someone else trying to buy from under them. When the seller wants to reserve for a few hours or even days for someone, we usually just write in the description/title and change to price to something crazy high so no one else can buy till the buyer is ready. Then we change it back to price that was agreed upon. You do this just by editing the listing. The option to edit is on the top right of every listing! Hope that helps!

lilacrose @dollface83 ask lots of questions, request lots of pictures. There are many connoisseurs of high end designers on Poshmark who could help you too! Also look at their closets, are they reputable for selling high end merchandise, read threads and feedback. Also once you receive the item you have 72 hours to get it authenticated before releasing funds to the buyer. If its not authentic Poshmark will give you a refund, and a label to ship it back to the seller!

I'm so upset I recently traded with another person and I had $14 in my redeemable account, instead of charging that account poshmark charged my bank account which had no funds in it, which lead me to get an overdraft fee of $35! I sent two emails today and hoping to hear back ASAP. Wish I could call and speak to someone but no number to be found. Aren't they not suppose to charge your bank if you have funds in poshmark? lilacrose @shelbj once someone buys an item for you your money goes to into your POshmArk account under my balance and it will be "pending". Then once buyer receives the package, checks it out, makes sure its as described, they accept it through the app and then your funds become "redeemable". You can then spend it on Poshmark, request a check or do direct deposit!

lilacrose @grneyes8 Poshmark guarantees satisfaction, the seller doesn't get paid till the buyer receives the item and verifies that it is exactly as described. Poshmark protects both the buyer/seller that way. People who have used PayPal transactions have good and bad experiences. Really depends on if the seller/buyer is a trustworthy, honest person. Many will tell you that they have Not had a good experience when someone asks to take the transaction offline. PayPal per se is safe, but it is not supported by Poshmark.

And, I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be argumentative. I just believe if there's an option for a lower price it should be up to the buyer and seller.

And the more you read threads on here you will find out how people are being scammed both seller and buyer with PayPal. When people use PayPal on Poshmark it really is unfair to the creators and Poshmark team. It's already a free and easy to use app. Your listings are exposed to so many users and I believe it's unfair to those who worked hard to get this app developed, started, and working for people to use it for exposure but not give their dues. Like using a store for their boutique and not giving their rent. Does that make sense? If people want to use PayPal they should use ebay. I think that's fair.

lilacrose @angelalorainne hi! Once an item is purchased you will receive an email from Poshmark with a shipping label. You then package the item in an envelope or box (you can get some free from post office or any you find at home!) tape the label onto the package and drop it off at the mailbox!

lilacrose @monetc2 Poshmark doesn't actually support trades. So if you trade, it's at your own risk. Most people agree on the item(s) for trade then set price at zero so each will only pay for shipping. It's risky because you're essentially trusting that the other person will send their item. I don't recommend it. However, many on PM trade successfully. Just know who you're trading with and know what your risking if and when you decide to trade! Hope that helps!

lilacrose @riley101 a posh parties are "parties" in the app where users can share items from their closets and all those on the app at that time will be exposed to your listings! At 9-11am PST it's usually brand specific (today was roxy, billabong etc), at noon till 2pm it's item specific right now it's baubles or jewelry! Then at 7-9pm it's usually theme specific. You can usually share all brands and all kinds of items! Hope that helps!

lilacrose @rak0412 hi there! The easiest fix to this is to forward the email to someone who does have a printer and can print the label for you! The reason why you can't just ask someone's address is bcz the label provided has tracking so Poshmark and the buyer can track their package! If you do it the other way, you would have to pay for shipping and priority mail! It's just so much simpler the way Poshmark made it!

lilacrose @nicey21 if you see the "NWT" sign on a listing it means new with tags... There are other abbreviations like BNWOT brand new without tags or BNIB brand new in box etc. most sellers will tell you if it's new, like new (only used a few times) or previously loved.

lilacrose @itsannibelle after someone has purchased an item, your funds will be "pending" so you package and mail the order, then once the buyer receives it and "accepts" the purchase through the app your funds will go from "pending" to "redeemable". Once they're redeemable you can spend it on Poshmark as credit or request a check or direct deposit into your bank account. Hope that helps!

lilacrose @adriannalazarte hi there! To get more people to see your stuff, you need to a) get more followers and b) share your items to parties and when you can! When you share them to parties people at the parties get exposed to your listings, and when you share to your followers only your 70 followers get to see them, so you need more followers! It's only time consuming at first when you follow lots of people so they follow you back. Then you just share your listings periodically throughout the day! You'll get some sales soon!

To become a suggested user what the team is usually looking for is a closet with a good variety of items all within the guidelines of posh, so you are pretty much setting an example for new poshers essentially! Good cover photos, trendy pieces, good track record of happy buyers etc

lilacrose @jdedomen we usually take screen shots (a photo of your screen) of our notes, you do this by pressing your home button at the same time as your on/off button on your iPhone/iPad. Then you'll see your idevice flash. Then go to your camera roll, you'll see a picture of your note! Hope that helps!

lilacrose @justfabulous32 hi there! Because the packages are tracked if the buyer does not accept the package, once it shows up as delivered, Poshmark will release your funds after 72 hours. Gives the buyer time to check out the item, make sure it's as described etc some new users don't know they have to accept it! So you could try messaging them asking if package arrived and order is to their liking!

As long as you describe your items accurately, take good photos, disclose any imperfections, if a buyer files a complaint, they will see your listing, read your thread and most likely rule in your favor and release your funds! This is another reason why once a listing is sold you can't delete it!

lilacrose @elkie1115 hi there!!! 1. To change cover photo: hit edit on listing, then click on the cover photo. You'll see the little camera icon. Either snap a new photo or hit the file folder and select a different photo from camera roll! 2. To rearrange your listings: when you share an item, if you've noticed, the one you share will appear at the top of your closet. So to arrange, share the ones you want to appear last in your closet first and then the ones at the top will be the ones you share last. Hope that makes sense!

arenee9 Not sure if this has been asked yet. When a big purchase has been made from your closet, what the best way to go about shipping the items when you know the package will be over 2lbs? I know PM offers the label for packages over 2lbs, but as the buyer to keep more of the profit...how should it be done? Ship in flat rate box? I've seen we're the seller created to listings and had the buyer pay for shipping twice. What would be the least expensive route to take as the buyer to profit more $$?

lilacrose @arenee9 that's a really good question! Ever since the shipping changed from 3 to 2 lbs it definitely has been a Challenge for sellers. What I usually do is when I have heavy items for sale like boots or shoes and I know I have to upgrade label, I unfortunately don't discount the bundle or item as much, that way I can keep as much profit as I can. Sadly Poshmark doesn't have the flat rate box option, so that wouldn't work. The 2 transactions would work but then paying $6.99 more for the buyer than once is still more than upgrading the shipping. You should just add $2-3 to your bundle price to help cover the extra shipping fee. I think that's the best way!

So when you go to the closet of the person who is harassing you or unpleasant etc, at the top right corner of their closet you will see an arrow. Hit that, you will get the option to share their closet, report or block them. Hope that helps!

lilacrose @honibfly I use the USPS app, under the "get supplies" button. It's free to order and get them shipped! You can only order flat or regional rate, just use a sharpie or black marker to cross our where is says "flat rate" (or regional rate) on the box and you're good to go! All free!!!

lilacrose @elkie1115 go to "my sales" then go to the sale of this bundle. Then hit, "need new shipping label", then it will give you option for heavier weight, then you can add $1.99/lb. then Poshmark will email you a new label. Use that one instead of the one you already placed on box! Hope that helps!

What others do is share other people stuff, especially when they have more followers than you, most will share back! This will expose your listings to all their followers! Also list more things. Most people want to get a good deal from 1 closet and bundle to save and also to save on shipping! Also, follow more people! LOTS more people!!! I don't know if u have read this thread but I've previously mentioned that I've gone on following sprees where I've followed thousands in a night! Tedious at first but pays off when they follow back! Also engage the people who "like" your stuff! You don't need to be too aggressive and ask every single person if they're interested, but just say thanks and let them know you're there if they have any questions! Hope these tips help! lilacrose @absolutleigh Poshmark does not support trades so if you trade it would be at your own risk! Although many trade successfully, there are just as many who have had a bad experience or worse been scammed! What happens is you both bundle the item or items in a listing set the price to zero or $1 and then only pay shipping. This is great if it works, but some poshers receive items which are not as described, dirty, wrong size etc and Poshmark can't refund you anything bcz you paid only shipping! Others will send their part of the trade but won't receive anything from the other party... Or I've heard receive just an empty box! So be cautious, know the value of your stuff, is it worth the risk of possibly losing? Also who are you trading with? Have you had transactions with this person before? Have they had other successful sales/trades before? Just do your research and remember Poshmark can't help you if something goes wrong! Hope that helps

And how much extra does that person pay per lb? 2nd question is what's the easiest way to determine weight on packages?? For example do you guesstimate weight? Do you go into post office and get it weighed then go back again to drop off? Do poshers own shipping scales?

lilacrose @cgmunoz when you think a bundle is heavier than 2lbs, you go to "my sales" and then go to the sale which you suspect needs a label upgrade. Then you will see on the bottom, "need heavier label" and it will prompt you. The seller (so YOU in this case) would pay an extra $1.99/lb. it will come out of your earnings. You can guesstimate, that's what I do since I schedule pick ups using the USPS app. But most go to the post office where there packages are weighed.

lilacrose @lorri44 when you follow someone, every time you share your listings, they get to see it in their feed. So same goes for when they follow you. The more people you have following you the more people are exposed to your closet, which usually means more sales!!!! I follow people because they usually follow back! I also follow people who's closet style and sizes are similar to mine! They have a higher chance of liking your stuff and buying from you!

lilacrose @sarbecca once you sell an item, you get a shipping label in your email. You package and mail the item. It's tracked by POshmark, then once it arrives and the buyer accepts it thru the app your funds go from pending to redeemable. You are free to spend it on Poshmark or request a check/direct deposit!

lilacrose @jdedomen hi! Sometimes new poshers don't know to accept an order to release your funds! You should first off track the order to make sure it was delivered. Then you can write to the buyer and kindly ask, if the order was to their liking and expectation to accept the order. If no reply, Poshmark will release your funds after 72 hours of the package being delivered 😊 happens to me a lot too!

lilacrose @thenewera it's up to you! You can see if you get more traffic in your closet without them! I find that people who model their clothing, use a mannequin, or lay out or style their clothing (like what you did), do well! Personally I like to focus on the item I'm selling. Take a good picture in natural light, makes for a really good shot! Hope that helps!

Depends on what kind of items you have, are they highly sought after, are they popular brands, are they priced right, do you have a lot of items people can bundle in your closet, how many followers do you have, how often do you share your listings... Most people sell within the first 2-3 weeks of signing up if you are active on the app!

lilacrose @skoepfle I think the best thing to do is reason with potential buyers, obviously you don't want to turn them away, but at the same time you still want to make SOME profit! It's def hard to balance that fine line! I think you should just explain, your prices are as low as you'll go! Some people write on each listing: "price firm" etc, or you could create a banner like an ad listing (like this one) explaining, that your prices are low and reflect your last price because you want to give a good deal and so unfortunately you cannot further discount on bundles etc. you might be able to lure buyers by offering a free gift or by giving $2 items and below free for bundles of $15 and above... Something like that! Any kind of incentive! Obviously there's only one thing we love more than shopping and its shopping a sale!!! Hope that helps!

lilacrose @moonbunnytoo *sigh* I know it can be extremely insulting when others do that, it's tempting to be like, "OMG are freaking serious?!" Buuuut, they are still potential buyers! So I usually say, I'm sorry but that's too low, thanks for looking. They'll either counter offer with something reasonable if they are TRULY serious about buying or move right along if not... You could always add to the description "price firm unless bundled" or something else to make it known there's not too much wiggle room for negotiation! Good luck!

lilacrose @sammdean hi there! Welcome to PM! Did you try typing some of your descriptions when you search for the bag? Like coral Kate spade? That might help it show up. Sometimes because there are sooooooo many Kate spade bags, your one may not show up. Also to share to parties, you go to the item you want to share. At the bottom of the picture you will see a "share" button. Share your items during the parties. The 9am is usually brand specific so you can only share them if they fit the brand, 12 noon is item specific (bags, shoes, dresses) and the 7pm is based on a theme but has no restrictions. Hope it helps!!!

lilacrose @debanddj hi! Once a listing is sold, it cannot be taken off of your closet. If it is in item sold in a bundle, you could delete it if it wasn't the actual listing that the buyer bought. Most leave it in their closet however to show that they are good and trustworthy sellers.

lilacrose @sinn_derella you only need to add your credit/debit info if you're buying something. If your selling you don't need to add that info. Shipping is 6.99 for orders under $25 and 4.99 for orders over $25. The 20% they keep are fees to keep the app running! It's like the fees on eBay/PayPal. Seems steep but honestly, it's worth it because using this app is so easy!

So unless the item was not as described in the listing (different size, defective, wrong color), arrived damaged etc the buyer cannot return the item. Most just re-posh the item, meaning they resell it in their closets to try to recuperate the cost. To delete an item from you likes, just go to the item and "unlike" it 😊 hope this helps. baileybuybacks I'm so glad I found this feedback for questions. Poshmark has not responded so hopefully you can help if you have time. I do not own a scale so I'm back and fourth to the post office. 1. If I upgrade my shipping to 6 pounds and the PO tells me it's only 3 pounds. Can I go back into the system to cancel the upgrade of 6 pounds and make it 3 pounds? So now I can mail the box with the 3pound shipping label . I don't know if they will refund or not. 2. You just upgraded to a 5 pound shipping label but now you need a 6 pound label. Do you buy one pound or can you cancel the 5pound and purchase a 6 pound. Does this all make since ......... Sorry I'm just trying to figure upgrading shipping labels.

So every day at 7pm there's a posh party through the app where you can share your closet, it's hosted by different poshers and they get to pick their picks to share to the party which are in their own show room. this means their picks get maximum exposure to all users who are at the party that night and even after the party is over!

So I dropped off my item at the post office..but I used a priority mail large flat rate box because they didn't have boxes that say priority mail only.. and according to poshmark FAQ, you may not use boxes that are flat rate or express.. lilacrose @shoeloverxo hi!!! Chances are it will get to your buyer! I've only heard of a few cases where the box will come back to you! Next time you can just wrap the box in packaging paper or cover (I use duct tape or stickers or black out with sharpie pen) the area that says "flat rate" or "regional rate". You can also order the correct boxes on the USPS website! Hope that helps!

A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office. I had it shipped around 2 pm.. Should it already have been at least shipped out from the post office? I understand posh is only made for iphones and ipads but will a sell button appear if i log on through an ipad or will it not show up at all how it is on a computer???

lilacrose @marlem14 it will show up differently on your iPad. Having it on your PC is meant for only managing your account if you lose your iPhone/iPad

lilacrose @marlem14 are you trying to buy or sell? Also are you in the actual app? You won't see a "buy now" button in your own closet. But try look in someone else's closet, if you are in the app, you should see it. If not then try contacting Poshmark support. Hope that helps

ohemmadeer What a savior you are! 😘 Question: is there any way to NOT share a listing to your feed when you update it? For example, I have my closet organized by section - so when a posher buys something, it goes to the top of my closet and I end up updating/editing every listing until it's in the right section. Or, when I add new items, I have to edit the listings so that they are moved to the right section - I don't like his PM shares this to the feed everytime I edit... I feel like I'm spamming my customers! But at the same time, I want my closet organized so it's easy to browse through! Thoughts? Thanks!! 😘 @lilacrose

lovecolor7 is it rude, wrong to share your own listing? Ive only shared other sellers listings but when I looked up what happens when I share someone else's listing, poshmark FAQ keeps talking about your own listing. Im confused. Also, when I share other seller's listings, what exactly is happening? I know my followers get it but how? Is there a message like so and so is sharing a listing and here it is? I joined 3 parties and my button said on so I assumed my items that matched the party title were present but Ive never seen a single listing of my own at a party. Do I need to do something or is that on button that is just on by itself doing it? thank you!

lilacrose @jdel @melissabieber16 hi there! Trading is not supported by Poshmark so I don't recommend it. Different people trade in different ways but the common way is creating a listing for trade (specifying the items) and setting it at zero. Both you and other person pay the $6.99 shipping fee. A lot of people have been duped before bcz they will send their items but will get an empty box. Not saying not to do it or to do it, I'm just warning you to be very careful if you choose to. Again, though, if there are any issues with this, Poshmark cannot do anything to help you.

laurenaa Hi! I'm really worried that the seller I'm buying from will make a bundle for me, but someone may buy the bundle before me. I've read that the seller can change the price to 1000 so no one will buy the items, but what if the seller changes it back when i want to purchase and coincidently someone buys it before me? How can I be sure that I will be the one to purchase and not someone else? Can the seller cancel the other buyer's purchase?

lilacrose @rach8908 they might be shared items by sellers you are following, and I don't think that can be avoided! Also, you may see items from suggested users that you automatically follow when you sign up for Poshmark. Hope that helps!

On another note, when I ship I usually take my box to the post office (small town). They always give me a receipt for it with the tracking number, so I have a record of the shipment. They also have been nice when I used a flat rate box...marked out...& they would not accept it. They found another priority mail box for me and repackaged it with my label. Love the gals at my post office.

poshamy81 Hi, I swear I read this feed for an hour and didn't even make a dent so if this is redundant, apologies, but I haven't seen this question yet. Is there a way to organize your closet in a particular order and keep it that way or will it always rearrange the most recently shared item to the top, so if I'm sharing a clutch say, to the clutches and wallets party, but I want it to stay in a particular place in my closet do I need to strategically share my entire closet every time, part of it to my followers and part of it to the pertinent party in order to maintain order in my closet? That's what I've been doing so far but I only have like 10 things, I can't believe this is the best way for people with 100s of things in their closets and people seem to have their closets organized! poshamy81 Oooh, also, what's the deal with the "suggested user" thing...and don't you think PM should make it a little more official if they are naming people suggested users than those people just adding it to their location line in their profile? I'm very confused by that process...how did they find out they were one and what's the point if being one if it can't be verified as being from PM? Oh the comment letters I could write on how some things could be made simpler! And oh to be able to filter within parties, heaven! 🙏 Anyway :) Just asking! Oh, and I had a suggestion for safer "trades" that would still but PM supported...if both traders just priced their items down to $1 and bought the item or bundle of items in each other's closets then the purchases would each be protected under PM and still essentially a trade. Just a thought if you wanted to feel a little safer but trade pricier items!

rawrie Hi, I joined Poshmark pretty recently and I have made a few successfull sales with wonderful buyers. But today one of my highest priced items ($260 NWT) was purchased by a buyer that never commented at all and had just made her account. I'm shipping the item out on Monday but I feel unsettled because of that. And because some time ago my friend sold an authentic high priced item in NWT perfect condition but it was the buyer claimed it wasn't as described and won the case. The buyer sent back an empty box and was never heard from again. Is there something I can do to prevent problems and disputes? (I have taken many pictures of the item, tags, and I have a copy of the retail receipt as well)

I'm certain because of who I purchase from. After the Poshmark time limit expired, she said they weren't 925 and wanted her money back. I said I would return her money as soon as I got the jewelry back. She wouldn't return it but still wanted her money. She wouldn't stop lying on my posts. You explained how I could block her. I have a couple of concerns or questions you may be able to help me with. How does Poshmark share you items on fb automatically when the sharing feature is 'on'? I'm not seeing it in my fb thread...however when I select my item and manually share it to fb it appears on my thread... Also, I have had a couple of friends say I am sending them screenshots when i'm not...is this a feature that the app has? glcarlson @lilacrose thanks, I just notice that another posher was re-selling a purse I sold her and she was claiming to the buyer that she had owned it for 25 yrs. and paid far more when it was new then she was selling it to the buyer for. I thought that was deceitful since it was a bag I owned since the 80s. Shame on her.

medakee I just received a msg from someone wanting to purchase one of my items. When she hit purchase, the reserved sign for this went on my item. Her CC wouldn't go through, so now I cannot do anything to this item so she can buy it or anyone else can purchase. What do I do. I cannot even edit it. lilacrose @medakee It will reserve an item for about 30 mins. After someone hits the buy now button. That gives time for your buyer to enter credit card info. If the sale falls through, it should be available for sale again after that 30 min window

There are a lot of great photo apps you can use to create words, frames, etc in your main post (you make them in a different app, save to your photos and then add to your listing). I'll list some apps below that seem to be popular, but I'm sure there are a ton more! A Beautiful Mess Picfx PicLab Diptic Vanillapen I have found PoshMark's filters to be pretty awesome though! It's easy to get too carried away on the apps. Happy poshing!!

sarahbearr Honestly I feel that they don't want you using Pay to thePal cuz they lose out on money when you as Pay to the Pal dose not take a % of your money witch means people can bring there price . If you get scammed big deal sue them for more then the item was be smart and take down information . I've never heard any one say they got scammed but what ever. Pay to the Pal is a much better alternative to a regular credit card you sign up for it online to banks needed

ecochiclove @drmm10 trying closing the app or restarting your phone, sometimes it just gets overloaded. And then for the black and white pic, maybe you accidentally brushed the black/white edit but didn't mean too? You could always try deleting it and just re uploading it again. Hope that works!
