So...I am still skeptical of this site. I have no listings yet. I have asked many poshers regarding taxes. I don't need to buy, I need to SELL!!! π³ I know for a fact after reading the IRS website that this app, "Closet's" are considered a business if you sale over $400 dollars in one year. Meaning you pay not only income taxes, but several other types of taxes. I am wondering if I did this will the government tax at 42% like they did when I owned my own company? I assume they will!
I had to pay an accountant to keep right with the IRS. Plus, Posh takes 20% of your profit off the top? So essentially you lose 60% of your profit from word go? That is if you do things legally, and turn in your income. I believe some of the super Poshers will be getting a call from Uncle Sam shortly? They did the same thing to ebay stores!!!!!
Something to think about it? Pay penalties for not disclosing income, and being audited? Or really make 40%? Is it worth the risk and time?

@goofygirl85 hey thanks for your questions and concern. I suggest emailing support@poshmark.com or speaking with a financial accountant. Try many tax services that are open all year. Call head to ensure they offer business services. In regards to poshmark taxes, you will have to contact them about this issue. Hope your problems will be resolved soon. Poshmark has been wonderful about their responses and cooperation with sellers. I can assure you the 20% they take is nothing compared to most selling sites that charge a listing fee on top of a sales fee. Hope I have helpedπhave a great day

@queenmumm omgosh!!! Thank God he's ok! Smart man for wearing a helmet. I used to work in surgery and seen so many bad cases from people not wearing a helmet. Hey, doll! Thank you so much for your concern.πππ He is much better today with his memory - his short term memory was gone for about 5 hours yesterday from the concussion he sustained. His bike ended up 20 feet away from him, so he was thrown pretty far. Today he's extremely sore. It will probably take weeks to recover completely but it could have been far worse. I'm just happy I can nurse him back!πππ
