mbolodeoku U know what u r so right people don't want to give u their items free but they sure expect you to sell yours for nothing just because in trying to sell it doesn't mean I'm willing to give it away after all at the end of the day I still paid my $ for it sorry just venting or on the other end over charging because pm takes 20 percent not cool

misskct Haha people always ask to trade or Paypal even though I have explicitly written in my listings that I don't do it. People always complain about the 20% that poshmark takes and the shipping cost but what people forget is that the creators of poshmark have invested numerous hours of their commitment and time to make this platform for us, so why break the rules?

mollydolly @misskct I agree with you although I do agree that 20% is a lotttt of the sale! It sucks to give away that much and also with the heavy shipping label! Today I sold a bundle for $216 I only made out of it about $170 anddddd I had to pay $8 in addl shipping. But I can't complain because at least I'm selling :)

misskct @mollydolly exactly yes it sucks, but what people forget is that without posh a lot of us probably wouldn't be making money anyways if it Wernt for posh. When you think about it usually if you sell clothes to a used clothing store they only give you 35% in cash and on poshmark we get 80% and you get to negotiate prices :)

mommy2007 @mollydolly thank you for posting this! It is annoying when a posher says they found y for x amount of dollars, will you sell it to them for z. I answer good for you, you are better off buying there. Last time I checked the site this person supposedly found my item for less, it wasn't less after taxes and shipping it was actually 5 dollars more and a 5 to. 10 business day shipping. I still had to redo listing to have awful comment gone! End of rant 😘

Sorry newer-ish posher here. Actually don't know if there's a community person who looks out for that behavior?

mommy2007 @joyceg36 I really think this app grew at a rate they did not expect, do not yet have the man power to monitor and I hope it's that and not that they do not care! Because there is an awful amount of people selling things that are not allowed, taking transactions offline and selling fake, inspired luxury items blatantly! I hope at some near future they will clean up this place! And there also should be an age restriction enforced! It's kind of funny sad and dismal when you get a 13 year old trying to negotiate by trading!

That's why I'm selling to get rid of stuff here lol. AND those people that like to advertise!
