@lizzy799 I just added a better photo of the side of the skirt. The opening is a side slit; it's a pleated skirt so the opening does get hidden in the fullness of the skirt. It's just not completely closed all the way around. The ties are also very long (28") so a big bow also covers the slit. Hope this helps! :)
