chicandclassic @reaheah Hello...I love LV and I've been collecting 14 years so you can ask me anything you want. Now I've never had to take anything to get authenticated because so far all of my handbags have came directly from them. But, I see a lot of people on here that buy bags pre-loved and they say that LV will not authenticate and they say they have to take the item in and make like it needs a repair or something and then LV will let you know if its their product or not. reaheah I mean I don't have to have them write authentication in writing I would just like to have them say it to me (if that makes sense) do you think they will inspect it and tell me whether it's real or not?

chicandclassic @reaheah thats what I've seen the ladies on here say...like you have to take the item and ask a question about it. For instance..so if you buy a piece of luggage pre-owned and it doesn't have luggage tag..you take the luggage to them and say you ant to buy a luggage tag for it...if the item isn't authentic they will say that they can't sell you the luggage tag and that will be your validation.

chicandclassic @reaheah the code just indicates the location the bag was made and the year and month it was made so yes it's possible for certain items to have the same code. Codes don't guarantee authenticity...you can email me the photos when you get ready.
