This is/was my work bag. I have carried to work for most of the last five years. The straps on one side had to be repaired by leatherman because LV wouldn't touch due to cracked canvas. Two areas where canvas is cracked so I understand that. The Vachetta has heavy patina. MAKE AN OFFER but no low balls. I am buying a new one soon.

msmara18 Besides the cracks etc, are the handles secure and no tears? I ask because I carry my life as well! I have 3 kids too, all under 4 years old, so I need a bag to stash everything in, but it needs to be strong enough so the straps don't break etc. 😊 do you think, despite the wear, that I'd get a lot of "time out of it." I don't want to have to replace right after I buy, you understand 😄

devika08 @msmara18 absolutely. I had straps repaired and I promise there is no way even with three kids you could over stuff it like I did with my work stuff. I never knew they made a form to place in the bottom to help the bag keep its shape. I think that's why the canvas cracked. I am only getting rid of because I want the Damier Ebene

msmara18 I have the Damier Ebene in mm, and I've been looking for the gm in mono because I have the Damier Ebene. Ok. I'll definitely think about it. My hubby thinks I'm "foolish" because I have enough "totes" but I say you can never have enough totes, lol. I love big bags!

jbear Hang in there:) I sold my Neverfull that had a tiny tear in almost the same *exact* spot but it did take awhile and finally I sold it on another site. I was VERY clear to the buyer and sent a crazy insane amount of pics and she was sooooo thrilled and happy w her purchase. So there is someone out there that will appreciate this bag - I promise;) is this from one of the first years? Mine was from 06-07 holiday season I believe - the first or 2nd holiday it was out & I believe the tears are caused by the side pocket having heavy items in it and then the way the bag sits + heat + the natural elements and whatnot. Well anyway that was the issue with mine. Now they re designed the Neverfull to have a reinforced inside pocket which gives it more shape. Kind of like how they added feet to the alma. Evolution I guess you can say;) anywho, for that reason I believe this bag is a *true* classic and nothing less! Good luck!

jbear OH* and to add, what I did to prevent it from tearing further. I put a stiff folder behind the side pocket which gave the bag the reinforced shape and therefore prevented further damage. Also an SA told me discreetly that a *dab* of crazy glue will also help prevent any further tear. Don't hold me to that but it seems liable. 💞

jbear It's ashame bc I took it to LV about a month after 2 years and they gave me some BS about LV's are not meant for everyday use. Helloooo! It's a Neverfull! Lol well we live and we learn right?! ☺️ at least your interior is in AMAZING condition. Brownie points for that
