Jun 20Reply

couturegirlI've been there..8 years out so I know how important having a support system is. By you posting this it gives others who are in this fight now as well the strength to keep going..so you're not only helping yourself you are helping others. How many more treatments and did you have surgery yet?

Jun 20Reply

jefsweetie@djoh444407 Bless you Diann❤ I pray you are doing well now! Are you still doing PET scan's every year. I hope your numbers l👀k g👀d. You are a BEAUTIFUL lady. What an inspiration you are to me as well as other women. The cancer is called Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma. It effected my lung, liver, appendix, cervix, uterus, ovaries, and tubes. I just had bad cramping and heavy bleeding. I was just thinking it was just turning 40 and my body was just changing. If you and I can just encourage 1 woman to keep her annual appointment then we might have just saved a life girl👍 Bless you my friends💜

Jun 20Reply

jefsweetie@couturegirl Bless your heart girl😉 how are you doing now? I have had 6 surgeries. I feel like they should have just put a zipper in. Lol I pray you are well and believe there is a reason we have experienced this in our lives. Don't have a clue what it is yet, but I will be made clear to us one day😇

Jun 20Reply

couturegirlWow 6! Was this all for breast? I just assumed since you had 'check your mammies' in the listing. How much more chemo do you have left to do? I'm all good now..thanks!! If you ever need to talk my email is pinkpony72@gmail.com

Jun 20Reply

jefsweetie@cmjla Cynthia,,,I will never ever give up, but I won't lie,, I have self pity days, then I realize there are soooooo many people out there that a struggling with worse every day. Your encouragement surly put a smile on my face😃 Thank you💗

Jun 21Reply

kellieshannon@ahabit thank you! @jefsweetie you do look beautiful and your voice is strong and so is your message! Quite the woman. Positive thoughts vibes and wishes your way. I am just coming up on what I hope will be my 2 year clear anniversary or birthday and 3 year diagnosis date! Clear scans just waiting on couple more tests! Seriously sending you strength and remember its ok to break, it's not self pity days, it's reality there's a reason cancer and treatment sucks. My aunt would tell me, "what do you mean self pity, this isn't self pity you're just choosing not to shield all of us from your reality today." Looking back she was very wise. Take care of you and @couturegirl is wonderful to talk to, she is 3 hours ahead time zone wise from me and she stayed up her whole night talking to me the night before my scans!!! Truly amazing! You are amazing, don't forget it!!!

Jun 25Reply

couturegirlHow are you feeling..is the fever gone??

Jun 26Reply

jefsweetie@nemukes33 Thank you Nena💗

Jun 26Reply

jefsweetie@couturegirl Hey girl,,, Thank you for asking. I had to go back on Leukine injections. White blood cell count was way off.

Jun 26Reply

couturegirlI'm so sorry to hear that!! How long do you stay on it for?

Jun 26Reply

jefsweetie@krenee79 Thank you Karen💗

Jun 26Reply

jefsweetie@couturegirl 2weeks,, then radiation will start ,,, if fever goes away💗💗💗

Jun 26Reply

krenee79@jefsweetie Cancer has run rampant in my family, as well as slowly taking the life of my friends little girl. It is a horrible, evil disease that proves we live in a fallen world full of torment. But people like you show the rest of us how to keep smiling & loving, regardless of the trials! You are far from alone, even on your loneliest of days, because so many are praying for complete strangers who are tormented by this! Keep that in mind, no matter how hard things get! ❤👍💗🙏

Jun 26Reply

couturegirlIt will go away..I have faith in that!!! Where on the body are they doing radiation?

Jun 26Reply

jefsweetie@krenee79 Karen,,, How kind of you, I'm totally crying like a BIG FAT BABY right now because your words are s👀👀 true and are touching my heart. I never thought in a thousand years this posting,, reminding women just to keep their annual check ups, would ever get such a response. Bless your family and friend for the loss and know The Lord truly does have a plan for all of us. Keep spreading the words of charity, positivity, and strength. It will be returned to you ten fold when you never ever expect it💗 Most of all girl, get those mammies grammed🎀.

Jun 27Reply

jefsweetie@couturegirl Neck to pelvic. Did you experience any skin irritation or burning?

Jun 27Reply

couturegirlNothing too bad..it did change color but went back to normal. I had 32 treatments. Not sure if they told you or if you'll need to but I had to get an electric razor to use under arms. They don't want you cutting yourself near the area. Also all natural deodorant like Toms of Maine or the crystal. And I kept my body form that they make so you are always in the same position..but I also kept an iv bag from my chemo. I know, strange!! 😚

Jun 27Reply

jefsweetie@couturegirl NOT STRANGE AT ALL. I did get my tattoo markings for proper placement for my form and form made👍 no hair under the armpits ever started growing back yet, great idea on deodorant tho... Thanks for l👀kin out💗 Have you had your port removed yet?

Jun 27Reply

couturegirlYes I had it removed after I was done with everything and they knew I was clear. I only really cried 3x and one was when they said I needed to have it put in. For some reason that scared me!! During chemo, radiation and before my hyst in 2009 I had to have Zoladex inj in my stomach every month to stop my hormones. The needle was huge because it was a capsule. Is that where you get the wbc med? I wasn't familiar with it so I looked it up😊How did you do through chemo? Did you ACT?

Jun 27Reply

Jul 09Reply

jefsweetie@fashionlover125 @candyheart424 @couturegirl @cmjla @ahabit @lanirichmond @kellieshannon @gaylee It is days like today that I feel like we need to recognize or friends like you, the caregivers, the supporters, the ones that sometimes we take for granted by not saying thank you enough, the ones who sometimes are just there with a friendly smile, or hello, a card, a small gift, a trip to the grocery store cause we can't get out of the house, the one to go with us for the 5th time to get our staples taken out from one surgery after another, the one who goes to our dr. Appointments to hear EVERYTHING the Dr. has to say because we might be feeling overwhelmed by everything and not hear everything the dr says, the one that holds our hair back when we have to throw up,,, and we have not lost it all yet the one who stands next to our shower door to make sure we don't pass out because its taking all of our strength we have just to wash our butt and clean our wounds. THANK YOU for being a care giver !! We could not do it without you,

Jul 09Reply

cmjlaAre you going to the dr for news today?

kellieshannon@jefsweetie your post about our "caregivers" was beautiful and it is everything from the BIG things to the little things our caregivers share with us that make each one of them so damn special! Remember as "patients" we often end up playing a caregiver role as well, shielding others from our pain, fears, wanting people to know we are still strong dammit and helping when we really should be sitting. You are a beautiful person and your spirit it strong, I think of you often and sorry it's been so long since I stopped by! Please if you ever need want or just desire, holler for me I am always open to chat. I saw you ask Pen @couturegirl earlier on about removing her port, I had mine removed about 1 year after treatment, they wanted me to leave it in until 3-5 years clear but it drove me nuts, so I elected to get it out! So sorry about your 4 legged baby, wishing you peace! I lost my cat he was my best friend during treatment so I can identify with your pain and I am truly sorry! XOXO

jefsweetie@kellieshannon LOVE LOVE LOVE your POST. I had never ever l👀led at it that way. Thank you for bringing that to mind ☺it is s👀👀 TRUE! I never ever in 1000 year would have thought I would receive the caring, genuine, and uplifting support thai I received from this post. I just wanted to give away a free t shirt.... BTW ,,,, that no one has taken yet LOL , are my clots really that bad? Lol, and get the word out, if I could, to remind women to get their B👀BIES checked at their annual exam. It TRULY could save their life..... Girl, I totally admire you for your strength, GREAT TASTE, and wisdom you have to offer. My closet is not a big fancy one with a lot of brand names. I am just trying to pay my medical bills. But I have gained soooo much more than money can ever provide, don't get me wrong,, at the end of the day,,,, I gotta pay my oncologist, I don't have near 100% coverage, but the friends I have met just on this post, to me are invaluable. Thank you for beeing a part of that. NOW ,,, NO MORE LEAVING OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN LIKE A MAD DOG! Just like I would Penelope. My port already has scar tissue built up around it and hurts like hell when I feel the scar tissue pull away. I have to work on it now every day so it doesn't get worse,, no biggie. But like you, Dr wants to be curtain that it won't be needed again, soooo I guess it is staying put. Thank you for the kind words about Tiffany. She was my Angel here on earth. She would be the first at the door when I would come home from each surgery and would sit next to the bed like an 8 lb guard dog ,ready to attack when ,the nurse would come to the house to pack my incisions. She would sit outside the bathroom door making sure that my guts didn't actually come out when I would be in there vomiting after treatments. She was sitting next to me the first time I went to brush my hair and gobs came out in my hand, tried to climb in my lap and lick my face as I sat their sobbing ,,, thinking finally, that this was for real. Like the surgeries didn't do that. Anyway, she was 13, I knew that she was slowing down, not eating, lost her hearing about a months ago. But you are never ready to say goodby, EVER. We have her son T-Roy,,,, it's even more heartbreak to se him go from room to room looking for her. I took her little blanket with us to the vet, made sure it had her scent on it,,, just for him, not sure if it is confusing him or not because it's reiterating the fact he can't find her. So now that I have had my verbal gut spillage for the day,,,, I just ask 2 things. Please help Penelope realize we need her on here and she is cared for and supported no matter what, Posh politics can kiss my big fat white dimple ridden butt cheeks. 2nd, PLEASE stick around yourself, it's not always about what cloths are in your closet,,, sometimes it's about how you touch someone else's life by having a closet. And that's all I have to say about that.🙏😘

kburke030@jefsweetie first of all you are so beautiful! My Grandma battled breast cancer and you CAN beat this! Never lose hope !! Ill be praying for you 👼🙏 God can produce miracles! Secondly thank you for the shares! I appreciate it :) hang in there ❤💋❤💋💋❤💋❤

Jul 11Reply

kellieshannon@jefsweetie wow you have a way with words! Anyone ever told you that???? Do you write? Maybe you should! I am talking with Pen and need to more...I may come back and sell, I need a couple things settled within posh first before I can swallow my pride (I know pride is not worth tripping over) and put back up a few listings. I could never leave this community altogether though...even though its the ability to communicate gone awry through debauchery and defamation of character that caused my exodus, I don't like the favoritism stuff either at all but it was more the a-holes on here who drove me over the edge, the communication in this community has blessed me with some amazing people and life long friends. If you are a reader I have a great book to suggest that has helped me and members of my family a lot through and since treatment, let me know if you're interested. As for my port I am a runner (though recently not so much and I miss it) and my port rubbed and got catchy on sports bras etc. they didn't want me to remove it because with my colon cancer they never truly use words like remission or cancer free ... But after much deep soul searching I came to the realization that even if my cancer were to resurface its ugly face I would not do chemo again. So the port-pointless. That being said like anything in life we an never say never until eye to eye with the beast and my site was left with only small amounts of scar tissue making a re-implantation not too difficult!!! Ahhhhhh now onto fun!!!! Blood tests today and the grocery store Wooo Hoooooo the crazy life I lead! Peace today and always xoxo Cheers!

wenrellaI've been just sitting here looking at your beautiful face.....speechless. Thinking to myself "how does she know?" "Did the Holy Spirit speak through her to let me know I'm not alone?" "Or did she look at all my comments?" What ever the reason, it touched me to the core. Yes, I have pain everyday! Yes, I'm a fighter! But today I wanted to give up...that is until I saw this post in your closet. Thank You for your sweet prayer. I'll be praying for your quick recovery & the growth of your hair. When I lived in Portland, Or. I volunteered at the cancer society in the "Look good Feel better" program. I would show women in the program how to apply make-up to enhance there natural beauty & different ways to wear a scarf on there head. It was very rewarding. I would listen to there stories, struggles & successes. We'd cry, laugh and have fun while trying on wigs, make-up, & scarfs. I hope you are in a program like that while your recovering. God bless you beautiful one. ❤✌

Jul 31Reply

jefsweetie@wenrella Hi my dear lady🎀 I am glad that my post was able to help heal your heart just a bit. We are fighters,,, we have to be,,,, we have friends, loved ones, fellow Poshers, children, pastors, brothers and sisters that need us around,, if for nothing else,,, just to put a smile on their face and let them know they are important, special, and l💗VED. I do know how hard it is some days, truly ,, I do! The Lord has felt the need to put these obstacles in our life paths for a reason,,, to make us stronger for the afterlife?.. I don't have the answer to that,,,, but I do know that The Lord promised us that he will never give us more than we can bare,,,, please remember that the next time your day is SUPER tough like today was for you. Try and turn that frown up side down and reach out to someone,,, anyone,,, and make them smile,,,, It's good for our hearts too.. Tell them a silly joke like,,,,, lets see,,,,,, What kind of Bee's are the scariest?...... .??? BOO Bee's . GET IT. LOLOL BOO Bee's hahaha I just love that one😆 See,,, it made you smile just a bit,,,, right? Offer humor up when you can,,,, you might just make someone's day!👍💗💓😄

wenrellaBoobees! LMBO! I love your attitude. I'm working on mine. I've been in such tormenting pain for 12 years now, it will take more time. I have anger issues & fear issues that need spiritual tending to. On a positive note; There is a company called Red Apple Lipstick that I want to share with you. I've been in the beauty business for over 20 years, and it's the best I've seen. They are doing a Brest cancer promo right now & waking up the world to what kind of chemicals we R putting into our body every day. I'd be honored to be Facebook friends ( Wendy Reavis in Vero Beach, Fl. ) or u can follow me on Pinterest & Instagram ( wenrella ) the pix is my signature green eye on all accounts. I'm not selling the product, just sharing you can also go to there website redapplelipstick.com you would b surprised at what companies put in make-up that are harmful and make us sick! I've always wanted to create "Wendy Christine Esthetics" Skincare and have it chemical free just like this company. It's been a desire of my heart since I was first introduced to Skincare at the age of 15. I'm 44 now, but I feel I still have time...just not the funds or energy. Thank You my new found Posher friend for your kind words. Have a blessed day💋

Aug 05Reply

sdshopperYou know what, it was a gift from The Lord to give me the opportunity to help out my sil- sister, as I will call her on our posts bc that's what she truly is. I was elated to help her. She chose me to tend to her, go to Drs, chemo, even shave her hair as we wept as it fell out. If I had to do it again I would. I think it was my calling. So no I'm no angel, just a real person who did whatever I could to help. If you need a shoulder to cry on I'm here😘💕really💖

beboutique@jefsweetie Wow! You are AMAZING! Such an inspiration to others not only the ones going through similar things but also to people like me who just are touched by your strength and awesome spirit! 💕💕💕 You are a HERO! Never give up your fight!👊💪For the last few years I have been active with the American Cancer Society, it is something that I have a great love for as I have family members that have and still are battling this monster! I recently was the Event Chair for the 100th Birthday of the ACS Gala and will also chair next years event! You will certainly be in my prayers and heart! 🙏Wishing a speedy recovery! Much Aloha!😘

Aug 06Reply

lizharThis is amazing what u r doing!!! 😍😍😍 I don't know if I'm considered a "survivor" yet since I'm technically in remission yet. I read about u on another post & just wanted to introduce myself. What caught my attention the most besides just surviving was the "bald" look. I did manage to get thru my treatments without losing my hair but last week I had complications & ended up with blood clots in my brain so they had to shave 1/2 my head. So now I'm in that stage where it's really hard to find my self confidence & actually go out to LIVE in this world. But seeing ur beautiful bald head put me a step closer to venturing out. I think I just needed to b reminded that I'm SO NOT the only one dealing with these feelings. Thank you for being a much needed inspiration!!! 😍😍😍

Aug 06Reply

jefsweetie@beboutique Sanice👋 Holy cow girl🐄! Thank you for your kind words, I'm happy that you see me as an inspiration, I don't really feel any different than the woman setting next to me, I'm just trying to bring a message to all women to treat themselves in the same high standard as they hold their children, spouses, friends and neighbors. We would all be the first one to set an appointment for our child if they had a cough last to long,, spouse if they had a headache to long, neighbor needing a ride to the store if their car was down. To be able to do these things for others, we have to be taking care of our own annual exams which includes obstetric appointments as well as getting our mammies grammed. Those tests should be first thing you do maybe after the taxes are filed in April or possibly you make a joint appointment for your dear hubby's prostate and you to get those Mammies Grammed. When you are both done,,, it's a dinner and drive in movie night, anything fun. By doing this ,it will help you l👀k forward to your next years examination. I am a tru believer in celebrating more Birtdays❤🎊💐🎉. I truly admire the work you do for the ACS! We have had a 24 hour relay team for the past few years, what a tremendously heart felt event that is... God bless you for somehow knowing that I needed a bit of a self esteem booster today.

Aug 06Reply

beboutiqueAnything I can do to boost your esteem, pick up your spirit or just be here to support you please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me! That's what makes me happy! Life is about helping others especially those in need. ❤Always remember how much you are truly loved! Stay strong! God Bless you! XOXO

Aug 17Reply

jefsweetie@hydrogirl You are an AMAZING friend and example for other women lil lady👼👸🌟

Aug 17Reply

hydrogirl@jefsweetie YOU are way too kind...I am nothing at all compared to you and all the other fighters out there! YOU gals are the true heroes and motivators of the world. Those of us on the sidelines play such a menial role in your fight. But thank you for your sweet compliment😊

Aug 17Reply

cmjlaIf YOU want that top I'll take $25... Only for you of course. 😘💕💕💕

Aug 21Reply

jefsweetie@stacykv Thank you Stacy💐 I pray you are doing well now 👍and your scans remain clear,,, 3 weeks of radiation left, you know there are days you feel like King Kong then there are days you feel like the ant that got stepped on by King Kong😔 Your kind words and support mean a lot to me especially today, because I am feeling like the ant. If we can get just 1 woman to schedule her annual exam just by reading this post, then we may have just saved them from this monster🎀 I will fight the fight dear lady,, promise!

geesansBaby girl you are beautiful, god is using you To encourage others. Hang in there; and to help I will be taking something from your closet. You have many blessed days ahead.

Aug 23Reply

jefsweetie@geesans Thank you Gertrude 💗 I believe so as well👼 Have YOU had your MAMMIES grammed this year sweet lady. We spend soo much time taking care of those around us,,,, it easy to just put it off and put it off. But we can't care for our loved ones if we are not here , because we just kept putting it off. So if you don't do it for yourself ,,,,,, do it for them. Take a friend,,I do,, instead of going to the spa and dinner, we do mammies then the spa. It's that easy and doesn't have to be so scary and annoying 🌻

Aug 23Reply

nangram69Wow... Reading through all these posts makes me cry both tears of happiness and comfort as well as some sadness! I am battling ovarian cancer along w rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia so everyday is a struggle no matter what. I'm kinda shopping around here for myself since my bday is coming up on Sept 2nd and want to feel good and look good again as soon as I get the chance to! I lost my dad to cancer, mom to dementia, my sister is terminally ill, my brother is mentally handicapped and then there's me w my battle as well as being the care taker of my brother let alone myself! I know I have a lot on my plate but always keep hope and faith in my heart w my other "cancer brothers and sisters" who are right there with me fighting the good fight! You are truly a beautiful soul and I wish you so much luck and love in your battle and in life! ;)

So I'm hoping that mesh hasn't done anything bad to me inside. I've been checked 1 time by another Dr @ 6 mos & he said everything looked fine, so not sure whether to o to my regular Gyn or find a new one. I've been w/my Gyn for over 10+years. What would you do? wenrella@deenanelson YESSSS IM MARRIED TO @jefsweetie or at least we R married to @mswhite56? IDK it's all cray cray. They are both my heroes.

Sep 24Reply

btru2u38Hi Hun, I came across your closet and saw this post. I just wanted to wish you the best. I pray you are getting through this and doing well. I just had a hysterectomy due to grade 4 endometriosis and adenomyosis. It was so bad they had to take my appendix to. It was obliterated from the endo. My uterus was bleeding into my muscles. I was so horribly sick for years. Throughout this I have learned how bad endometriosis is. Not just an immune disease but like spider webs inside you entrapping your organs. I pray for you, and I'm so blessed and grateful it's out of me and my appendix didn't burst too. Stay strong. Your an inspiration....<3

Sep 25Reply

wenrella@deenanelson Hi, saw your post on @scarlettstained about @jefsweetie. So I'm praying here on her "fight like a girl" In the name of Jesus, I ask as your humble servant to lift up Katie with Your loving & healing hands. Covering her with Your blood that You sacrificed for Katie, and took the stripes so that Katie is healed. Hold her, love her, let her know You are with her. Relieve her of all pain in her body. Comfort her, talk to her, and let her know everything is going to be alright. Thank You Lord that You love us so much that not only did You sacrifice Your only Son, but You raised Him from death so that we could live in Your presents. Bring Katie into Your presents, give her the strength from the Holy Spirit. When she is weak You are strong for her. I see Katie surrounded by angels of healing, bathing her with golden rays of healing light. Creating balance and harmony throughout her body. Bringing a new sense of hope, they are using the light to disperse the fear and shock that may surrounding Katie. I can see the burns healing rapidly. In Jesus name AMEN!

Sep 25Reply

wenrellaYour so amazing! I feel like a crybaby w/ my fibromyalgia, sciatica, & celiac spru. I have so much faith that u r healed, yet my faith for my own healing is slipping. Some nights I cry so hard due to the pain in my rt leg & foot that I'd be willing to take a chainsaw to it & be the one legged Poshinista & cut the right leg off of every pair of pants& shorts I owned. I could sell all right sided shoes, I'd buy more dresses & get a wooden leg...no a peg leg & become a pirate..ya, that's what I'd do & get a patch for one eye that every time I blow my nose air comes out my (get this) my RIGHT FREAKEN eye! WTHeck is up w/ my right side of my body? K, bk 2 being a pirate..so I'd get a fake parrot to put on my shoulder & hobble to the street corner w/a sign saying "will work for pain meds" since Florida is a state that Dr's don't believe fibromyalgia exists & tell u it's in your head. It could be I guess, due to the fact I'm CRAY CRAY enough to chainsaw my right leg off & wear a peg leg & get a patch w/parrot on my shoulder. BAHAHAHGIGGLESNORT😜 I love u wifie (Isaiah 40:31)

jefsweetieNEVER EVER in 1000 years would I have begun to think that I would have touched so many of you! Even you ladies that don't know me! I am beyond HUMBLED,,,, BEYOND BLESSED and so incredibly AMAZED! GOD IS SOOO GOOOD! Your prayers, white light, healing vibes, and even just your kindness is for sure working because, I woke up this morning and sucking air into my pie hole! 😜 I bet you have been missing my silly sense of humor,,, right? My body needs to try to heal on its own a bit before surgery is possible. This business of being tired, drained, emotional, and pain,,,,,It soo easy to start doubting, but I have come to far to give up now, RIGHT!!! Especially because I finally have a 5:00 shadow on top of my head. I'm thinking of buying a Chia Pet to se which will grow faster! 🌻🌹I will not be able to ever reply to you one by one, but I promise when I'm feeling stronger, to kick my share button into over drive to attempt to recognize you for your kindness, love, and support! bels@jefsweetie @lemonwacki Lemonwaki those are the sweetest words I've heard a stranger tell another 😘💕 you know as my husband and I sat in our front yard swing one evening we were talking about how all you hear in the news is bad news....But then I started sharing with him I had met Katie on posh and how sweet and gentle soul she was...I told him I don't even know her personally but I feel I do somehow.....as we continued to talk we concluded there is a lot of good out in the world good and honest people it's just not mentioned in the "news" we only hear of all the bad. I read your comment to Katie and it touch me so much! I felt The Lord speak to me and tell me....you see there is a lot of good hearted people out there. msupgrade@jefsweetie I have my Mamo in a few weeks an it scares me every year but I go like a trooper and wait for the news. Good or bad I will fight I like I always do. One punch at a time. Right!!! We stick together. The cancer WILL NEVER BEAT US. WE WILL BEAT THE cancer.

tutuohtoo@bels...thank you so much for the kind and touching words. We see and feel God around us everyday when we feel the wind on our cheek, when we hear a baby cry, when we see older people holding hands...He makes it so easy to believe and all we have to do is honor Him. Through Christ all things are possible...I am so happy to have met you and Katie on here...I don not feel you are strangers but just friends I haven't met in person yet. Hugs to you

noy2312@jefsweetie I said a prayer for you today as I walked through the streets for the American Heart Walk. You may be far, but the power of prayer still remains. Have faith! I have learned early on in life that as you "ask, you shall receive." Believe and you shall receive, whatever you ask for." God loves you and wants the best for you! Miracles happen to those who believe! we may not have a chance to meet eye to eye, but here's to let you know, that I am believing with you, and the rests of the Poshers here! My brother in law is going through his battles too, and for our family, it is our battle too! and so is with you...I will lift up the banner of victory for you! God bless you and don't worry about the shares...that's why we are here too! HUGS!!!

How r things going for you? I ask because I care not just a courtesy. Keep the faith girlfriend. Oct 28Reply

rockinrobynWow, all the love, kindness and support that I have found in Posh thru your closet/site has made my feel, well... Not alone anymore 😊. I am brand new to the site, I don't even have my closet up yet... I've been battling with Sarcoidosis, which is a disease that attacks your lungs by scarring them and growing lumps of granules in there until you can barely breath... The unlucky ones of us... It spreads like cancer to all your organs and body functions. I even have it in my autonomic nervous system ( I break out in a soaking sweat at anytime, anywhere, no matter how hot or cold it is.... Yuk!!!😝 I also have about 9 other auto-immune disorders.. I have 3 kids but my parents have had to take care of them mostly the past 3 years. My kids live with them but still have their own rooms here at home with me and my husband. 😪 sorry, this just kills me. At least my parents only live 2 miles away, I thank The Lord everyday 🙏 for them. I used to be in the real-estate field since I was 21 and ended up being REALLY good at it. We built an awesome home, moved in, then I got sick. My hubby has to work basically triple time to keep us afloat. I have had to go thru some chemo, IVIG and of course, loads of Prednisone! I look like a chipmunk that's ready to explode!! I went from size 4 -6 to a 14 in about a year or so. Nothing has helped!!! I lost about 20 of the 60 lbs. but am afraid to shop b/c I really don't want to spend money on bigger clothes... I'm optimistic that I'll lose weight but have not had any success. How have you lost weight? I can't really exercise much due to my joint, muscle and nerve pain. This all started when I was 30 and had complications with my full hysterectomy. Some docs say trauma to your body can trigger Sarcoidosis and other auto immune diseases. My WBC drops to 0.6 sometimes! I catch everything but 10 x worse than those who gave it to me! I just had 4 kidney surgeries in 3 weeks this past May. Sarcoid was the culprit. I'm just so, so tired of being sick, not having my 3 kids with me, not seeing my husband, being in crazy pain... How do you deal with it? It looks like you have such an amazing support system through Posh, I'm soooo very happy for you!💕💕 Breast Cancer Question: I'm 36 so I'm not supposed to get a mammogram until I'm 40. I have found several lumps in my left breast and one in my right. My left breast is in a lot of pain sometimes. I do not have an OB/GYN anymore since I have nothing, not even a cervix anymore. Can I just request to get one? Who would I ask? I'm sure my husband's insurance would pay for it, I think anyway... It's a PPO. I live in the Houston, TX area which has one of the best Medical Centers in the world but I keep getting stuck with just ok docs in my general area, a little south of town. I wish I could just barge in one of the teaching hospitals and say, "here I am, fix me!" I actually went to the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH about a year and a half ago and all they did was diagnose me with a bunch of new diseases and problems then sent me back to Houston telling me that I needed a "Superman Doctor" to take care of me and didn't even give me one referral! 😡😡😡 Sorry I wrote a novel.... I was just so inspired by all of your followers and especially YOU! You are such a beautiful person inside and out. I'm so glad to have found your page. 😇 You will forever be in my prayers! 🙏 Have a great week and happy Poshing! - RR✨ (actually, just Robyn 😊)

Oct 31Reply

sassysuzzyHello my Sweet Friend. Have had you on my mind everyday. How are you feeling? Just waning to make sure you are ok. Say prayers for you everyday. God Is a good God. Put your hand in my Hand & I will be strong for you when you can't. I vow to love you as a sister & whatever you ask of me I will do my very best. Now put your other hand in the Fathers hand. Close your eyes & focus on His presence. Lay quietly x& listen so He can speak words of encouragement. Let Him shelter you in the shadow of His wing. What does He whisper to you? Be Still & KNOW I'M GOD. BE STILL HE SAYS TO YOU. HE WANTS YOU TO KNOW HE IS TRUSTWORTHY & Strong. Lean on Him. Trust Him in all your ways & He will direct your paths. He promises to NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU. YOU ARE HIS PRECIOUS DAUGHTER! Fear not for I am with you always, says The Lord God Almighty. XOXO

Nov 01Reply

sassysuzzy@jefsweetie Woke up thinking of you. Sure wish I had a clue to how you are. That's where trusting God with you takes over. You are safe in the hands of the almighty. Praying continually as He is so faithful to put you in the hearts & minds of so many people.

Nov 01Reply

salraeHi, My name is Shirley and I just found your site. You sound amazing and look so beautiful. I just wanted to tell you that I will be praying for you each day. God is good and I know he hears all of our prayers. My daughter has a illness that has no cure and so many people that do not even know her pray for her everyday. I know it gives her so much help to know someone cares. God bless you and your family.

sassysuzzy@jefsweetie oh it warmed my heart tonight to come home from church & see that you were back. Yes, I was worried but I knew that you were in safe hands. Katie, you are an encouragement to so many & I admire your steadfast faith. Been waiting to tell you a corny joke. Hope it brings a smile to your face. Here goes; WHAT DID THE ONE STREET LIGHT SAY TO THE OTHER? DONT LOOK I'M CHANGING! Ha!

Nov 03Reply

sassysuzzyJust checking In on you babe. Sunday 12:00 Fall Backward Time! How's today going? Can I just say a little prayer w/u? Ok, take my hand in yours, Abba (means Daddy, so cool he calls himself that to us his kids), Father, I thank you that you have been with Katie while all of us couldn't. I thank you that you've brought her through yet one more battle. I ask Father God that your peace, the peace that passes all understanding, will fill her heart, mind & body today. Lord I ask that she would feel your presence with her always but when she feels like she can't fight anymore I pray that she will rest in the fact that you are doing battle for her as we all lift up our prayers to you. Cancer does not come from you Lord. We live on a sin cursed planet & as you say in your word, "It rains on the just & the unjust". It's just life. But Father you said you came to give life & life more abundantly so I pray abundant life for your Daughter. In her moments of loneliness & tears may you comfort her as your word declares, "You came to heal the broken hearted & set the captives free". We give you thanks for the Posh Sisterhood who prays for Katie unceasingly. I ask that you would heal Katie & make her whole again. What a testament of faith, love & joy she has been to all of us. Father I have learned in my trials, illnesses & loss that you ALWAYS have eternity in mind. You see so much more then we can conceive but I KNOW THIS FOR SURE, you work ALL things for good to them that love you & are called according to your purpose. So we ask today that you would turn this around quickly & help Katie to see that you have a dream for her that is so much bigger then she could have ever dreamed for herself. In the mighty, powerful, loving, nail scared hands of Jesus I pray. Amen. Katie all through that prayer, I kept thinking a book. Katie needs to write a book about this journey. So your thinking, sure I'll get right on that Sassysuzzy! If that doesn't confirm something that God has already spoken to your heart about then just tuck it away or just tuck me a way:-). But if it does speak to your heart journal even it's just a line or two. I'm sure u do that anyway. I just had to say that cause I see you on a stage proclaiming that you r a miracle child of God. Remember he always has the big picture in mind, the eternal pic. Love u Katie. It's ok if you can't be strong some days cause we will be even stronger for you. I also love the scripture that says, "In your weakness, I am made strong". He doesn't give a rats ass about your strengths, it's your weakness that He uses!! HA! Makes me want to dance cause then you see I qualify. He doesn't care about the fact that I'm a Psychologist, He's not impressed by my Ministerial License (that I worked my butt off for), He says, Bring me your WEAKNESS". Oh girl that will preach!! He has given all of us gifts & talents so that we can use them to be His hands extended to others. Just the way, all your Sistas are doing for you but you don't need to perform for Him or us or anyone. Through this challenge, He is made strong!! Hugs

Nov 03Reply

sassysuzzy@btufly and @dbarn I would like to introduce you to one of Gods Miracles, Katie or better known @jefsweetie. I know you will love her, pray for her & be a blessing to her. Love u both

Nov 03Reply

jefsweetie@sassysuzzy Sue💖 my sweet sweet friend? I cried the entire time I read your prayer. I had to start over 3 or 4 times because I couldn't see threw my tears and I wanted to absorb every single word like a sponge. I cry like that when I know the spirit of our father is here with me, so strong and powerful yet so gentle and caring at the same time. If that makes sense. I sure needed to hear this today. I believe in my heart of hearts that I have a strong testimony and one that is true and worthy of hearing. If Posh is my stage,,, and I have reached just one person,,, just one, that has listened and absorbed my words of self care and health care, went to the appointment they made, and believed and understood the importance of caring for themselves first at some point,,,, then I accept the format The Lord has chosen for me. I write every single day girl. Even if it is only one or 2 lines. It's good for me psychologically. No pun intended,, but,,, you can read me like a book ,,, lol and u know my hearts content. Thank you for your friendship, fellowship, love, and for having one of the most SUPURB closets I have seen on Posh! BTW,,,,, my mom split a gasket at you joke. Loved hearing her laugh like that. 💛💙💜💚

keg90Just wanted to say hi! We (in our family) have lost many personally to cancer -some beginning with breast & then spreading elsewhere, in the last 6 years alone our family has lost 8 of it's dear aunts, uncles, grandparents & close family friends to - we have also lost our son tragically ... So I commend you for stepping up & speaking up & being a voice *** it does make a difference. BTW- my name is Kim, @keg90 (my initials) nice to meet & congrats on your upcoming party!!

Nov 03Reply

sassysuzzyOh Sweet Girl! I didn't want you to spend your energy on me. But I so loved that you got that those words came to you from The Lord. I have learned when I can't run to anyone else, He will be the shelter in my storm. So happy to hear you have a Mother. I've always hoped you had a loving Mama cause there ain't no one that loves me like my Mom. She is 88 & she is a force for Jesus. She is loving, non-judgmental & spends so much time with Jesus that people are just drawn to her! All my life, people say, "I just love your Mom". 3 yrs ago I had a heart attack & when the peramedics got me stable, the guy said, " I just love your Mom". Later I was telling my bro that & I said why do people always say that when they don't know her?" And he said, because she spends so much time w/Jesus they can feel His presence & that is what they are drawn too but they don't know it"! It's the same w/ u my sweetie pie. Look at how many lives you are touching. I believe it's only the beginning. I know God has a plan for you & it is good not evil. Plans to bless you & not harm you.,, Jeremiah 29. Hang Tough Girlfriend it won't always hurt this bad. Better days ahead. He's going to turn what the Enemy meant for Evil ' turn it into good!! You watch, you wait, you see!!! By the way, you don't have to share my whole frigging closet u know but I thank u😉 pick anything u want out of my closet & I want to send it to u. YES- DO NOT ARGUE W/me. Let me do this or I will just have to go get something for u. DO IT OR I WILL TELL YOUR MAMA. I thought for awhile that I was going to have to get on a plane & come Mother you but I now I see u have a Mom that laughs at silly jokes that you will be just fine😘 Love u Katie. Can't explain it. I just know I do. 😍😳🙏❤🎉💤😂💜👠💚💚🙏🙏🙏😘😘

sassysuzzyThank You Sweet Baby Girl!!! In CA on the run. Saw party coming on plane but couldn't get into their new trial free wifi. One would think the flight attendants would know. Anyway, I saw when I landed that I had three Host Picks. I wasn't really expecting you to do one cause I know u have so many friends & I didn't want you to feel pressure from me. However, I do thank you. The 3rd item was the inspired Dior watch. They- Posh pulled it. No problem. I'm thrilled w/2 & I was wanting to keep it anyway!!

sassysuzzyMy Friend, How can I say, Thank You for my beautiful surprise?! I love it! I will keep it on my nightstand so I will always remember to pray for you before I go to sleep. Not that I would anyway! I have been sick since the day before Thanksgiving. Had a Root Canal on Wed, (what was I thinkin'), by the time I got home my throat was sore. Stayed up making pies until 3am & woke up w/a screamin' sore throat! Good thing I got a great husband who can cook! Had most of the prep done but He did the turkey, ham, etc for about 14! Anyway, I have been in bed since the day after Thanksgiving. Apparently your lovely gift came on Sat but my Hubby just put my pkg on the table. I saw it last night when I got up briefly. It really made my day!! Thank You Sweetie!! Tell Jeff that I'm sorry but by the looks of things, YOU ARE EVERYBODY'S SWEETIE! How wonderful to know you have so many thoughts & prayer,rs going up for you. TTYL XOXO

Dec 02Reply

charlie1113@jefsweetie God bless you! My mom just hit her 26th year cancer free! She found a lump in 1987 during a self exam and it saved her life. Dec 13Reply

sammijored@jefsweetie I just came across your listing and have to say that your courage and strength depicted in your comments is astounding! My mother is an ovarian cancer survivor of 24 years! She never had chemo or radiation, just surgery to remove the soft ball size tumor. There was an lil old lady that used to come to her office weekly to hold her hands and pray with her during that time. My mom has remained cancer free! My prayers are with you. I believe the power of prayer is THE best and strongest medicine available! To have all of these Poshers prayers and support, along with your family/friends support and your positive attitude will keep you in God's hands! Merry Christmas🎄🎁👼

Dec 16Reply

jefsweetie@sammijored Thank You Samantha. Thank you sooooo much! Merry Christmas to her, you, and your entire family. God Bless😇

Dec 16Reply

sassysuzzy@jefsweetie Ok Girl, I have tried checking on you 4 times with no reply. You are making this MOTHER worry. I checked at the bottom of a million tags & see that you are alive at least 4 days ago. RELIEF!! Now talk to me!! How are you? What do you need? A big hug or a spankin'? XOXO

Dec 20Reply

jefsweetie@sassysuzzy Thank you for checking in. I appreciate you sooo much and hope my text shed some light on my beeing quiet for the past few days. Thank you for the smile you put on my face and in my heart 😍 my friend.

Dec 20Reply

sassysuzzyDid you share my whole closet girlfriend? Thanks u r truly jefsweetie! I went to the Dr for a follow up from my Colonoscopy. I will write u about it elsewhere. You know you can pick up the ph & call if you want. You will not weigh me down. I'm a Psychotherapist (now retired due to my accident), but I do know how to listen. It does help to have someone to share with. Sometimes you feel like talking sometimes you don't. I get that but I want you to know you can. Has anyone ever done a fundraiser for you? I was just wondering that due to your comment about your medical bills. XOXO

Apr 03Reply

jefsweetie@betsykeller12 Thank you Tara🎀

Apr 03Reply

mytherapy@jefsweetie Katie, I'm so impressed by your fight and touched by your story. It makes me know that I'm doing the right thing when I insist on screening tests for my patients, even when it's "no longer recommended" by whatever society makes the rules. I recently went to my doctor, who told me that they no longer recommend Pap smears or pelvic exams yearly, instead every 5-10 years! I was appalled, and thinking maybe I need a new doctor. Anyway, you're obviously a beautiful lady inside and out, very well-loved on Posh. Thanks so much for following me and sharing my closet!

sassysuzzyI haven't heard from you in so long but by the looks of your closet u have been a busy girl. I haven't been on much. My Moms cancer is back & i am her Caregiver. My Bro's live in CA. She's 89 & she is & always will be my rock. I am pretty exhausted as you know it's never just one thing you deal with. When things fall apart it seems like everything does. My 31 yr old God Daughter was DX w breast cancer yesterday. She has to have a mastectomy in both breasts. My heart is broken for her. I'm trying to put off my surgery until Fall. I am my Moms only caregiver. My husbands detail which has him in another State & was going to last 4 mo has turned into a yr now & looks like they won't be finished until Nov!! I need to count my blessings. Even though he's gone when I need him the most, at least we have a job & a husband. If it were just me, I'd starve😳Losing my ability to work & losing my career, losing my Mom, losing my adopted Daughter (my Sons ex girlfriend who was w him for 5 yrs & still my friend for 5 more.) My Som decided that it was uncomfortable for his new girlfriend & he can't get over his x girlfriend while we are good friends. It's complicated but he's asked me not to see her anymore. I really did not need this now. I love her as my own. Well can I lift your spirits even higher!😳i really do have so many things to be grateful for. Life is hard for everyone & we get our joys & our sorrows!! That is what makes us useable. Without the heartaches we would never know the joy!! I sent u a note or two & have been so concerned. If you tagged me I didn't get it. Just know u r in my prayers everyday. The beautiful bracelet sits on my nightstand so I never forget to pray for u. LMK how u are doing. Never heard what the results of the tests were. It just didn't sound good. Can I give your email to my God Daughter in case she needs to talk to someone who has been there?

Was getting some small pains (not bad just irritating) the other week but it's an enlarged lymph node (ultrasound done last year or '12-not sure) in axillary tissue.
