maggie_pie @mommyc hello Candice! Omg! Thank you for all your likes and comments and shares!! What a very generous person you are!! That is such a kind offer! To be honest, I'm not sure what I need...that sounds terrible, I know, but so far, there's no date...we are waiting thru some circumstances right now until...well, until I am we'll enough to have a wedding. I can barely go grocery shopping for just dinner, and that, only like half the time. Then it takes me a day or two in bed to recover. The nerve and spine pain is just too severe. What a great bride I would be, eh?! LOL!! Also, Doug's mum is elderly with pretty severe dementia, he's caring for her in his home. And she has really taken a turn for the worse with her health. I used to help with her...but can't even do that anymore. Poor Doug! He has two invalids on his hands!! And running his own business to top it off!! What we need most right now are prayers. I say that completely seriously, and humbly. I do have a wedding dress (two from posh, actually...one if indoor and the other if outdoor) :) I have bought a few pairs of shoes here, but don't know that I can wear them because of comfort/my back situation. My goal is to walk down the isle with no cane no wheelchair, on my own legs :) I even purchased a few pieces of pretty lingerie on posh...and packed them away for the wedding. Lol! I have not yet found a veil...but don't know if I'll use one. So that's the story... You are so soo kind! And it's so encouraging just to meet you! Not all Poshers are good ppl,

maggie_pie @noy2312 so lovely to receive your message! Thank you! ... My Douglas and I talked with a surgeon on Thursday...he has several diagnostic tests planned over the next 2 weeks, along with injections and PT. the PT & injections are not expected to improve things, but must be done within the last 6 months for me to be a candidate for surgery. Apparently, I have spinal cord damage in the cervical spine, and he's quite concerned about it. The lumbar legion he said looks like the end plates of the vertebra are slipping and rubbing against one another...the bone itself is disintegrating. I was so shocked, because no one else had noticed these things on the pictures. Please pray that he can help me. Just these last few days has seen an increase in my pain to double in the lumbar. The tests ahead are difficult...and I'm a bit of a coward right now :)

keg90 Thanks for your kind words to me- you certainly have a lot on your plate. I was glad to read the above to @noy2312 - that was a bit more in detail than what you gave to me. I do remember in our times of trauma & crisis that we would feel like we repeated & repeated -- it got so confusing after awhile. When you are scared try to think of your end result, remember why you are doing this - to be with the ones u love! "My favorite place to be is inside your hug" And there are so many women rooting for you here on Posh!! Thanks again for your sweet/ kind comments they truly mean a great deal-- the 1st 4pics of my son, is the trauma I have mentioned to you & he is the reason I move forward & the charities I work with <3.... If you are able & want to ck out the other women I mentioned especially @jmhogs @tcb10 - they are pretty amazing women : D

maggie_pie @keg90 Kim, you are so awesome!! You really brighten my day... I can't complain, it's been a good day in so many ways...and that's what I need to focus on. I am grateful for so much...had PT today that I got thru, a very good friend brought a meal for my family, my kids are doing their homework, and my daughter washed the dogs...and I get to see my sweetie tonight too. Sorry to hear you are in pain but glad that your energy and mind seems very positive and well. The little Butta is doing well. Doctors appt yesterday and he will finally be coming off his seizure medication after 4 years. Thank God!!!!!!! I couldn't be happier and more scared at the same time. Besides that, all is well. maggie_pie @keg90 hey sweet friend! I'm ok, but just now I'm fighting off a sinus infection, trying to ward off pneumonia. I feel like I have pneumonia again, but she said my lungs sounded good. maggie_pie @keg90 I'm so glad you had such a great day! Beautiful weather (yes! I DO believe your son is looking down on you! All the time, and smiling on all of you!), rides in the convertable, a meal made by your chef son! Sounds amazing! You must be so proud. Last sat I took my 16 year old son up to Heinens (a grocery near my house...they do things the right way, the old way...customer service is top priority), had him apply for a job there. I so hope he gets it! He talked to a few ppl while there, he was stellar in his light blue oxford and tie, the more he imagined as we were there, the more excited he got about working there over the summer. It would be a great first job for him! They really groom the kids...it was a surreal moment...he seemed so grown up! So mature! (Of course, a half an hour later, he was back to acting like an 11 year old, LOL! I can only imagine, though, how filled with joy you must have been to enjoy a meal made by your son. They grow up so fast...the time goes by soooo slow, but all the same, it whooshes by as well! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! God bless, Kim! You are such a strong and amazing lady! :)

keg90 @maggie_pie - I will be wishing good thoughts for your son& the job, it is an exciting time. My boys got jobs as lifeguards at well known water park theme park here in our area for their first job, my oldest son ❤️'d it & became a supervisor & had that job until college• my younger son got the job sort of through his brother & because he was a good swimmer, but he did not care for it as much, he did work there a few years & know works at a Pizza Place & delivers / preps Pizzas while going to school. He will graduate in June. Is the wedding still moving forward next month in May ? News from the Drs? Your words are very kind- but you are the amazing one my friend / or we can both live/ endure insurmountable feats 💗 but we are here• I wish you a joyous weekend as well & think of you with Sunshine & bright tomorrow's ☺️😊💟

maggie_pie @keg90 Doug's daughter Megan will marry on June 21...I'm trying to arrange things for the wedding...still need to get a wheelchair prescription from the doc...one that fits me, that I can push myself and have more independence. Nothing more yet about my health...things are at a standstill because I got angry with the last surgeon and his buddy the pain management dr who put me into withdrawal before that procedure. Honestly, I want to get some things in my spiritual life straightened out before I call the drs back... I just feel like I want to have a totally clean soul before I do anything more. Maybe that sounds silly. Bottom line is, I'm fighting with my own fear about some things...and if I can't have the courage to face those, I don't think I can go forward with surgery. If something really bad should happen...I want to have done and said all that my conscience needs to, you know? Well...so I'm hoping to break through my cowardice soon, and walk ahead through with my head held at least up, if not high :)

Be ready & sure before you move ahead, but know that your family & friends love you ❤️ & that no one call fully prepare for anything in life. You think if you knew it would be better some how or that it will be all worked out & planned out - but truth be told, some things are up to medicine, faith, chance & love ❤️ you will be good & just let me when you decide / please ( my faith is not the strongest • but I do say a prayer now & again, & know someone extra special will watching out for you 😊💟) As for the wedding• I love wedding & am doing an event planning course-- I am sure it will all go great- so many great low cost ideas on Pinterest / I am sure you have checked it out ✅💟 Gotta run/ hugs sweet friend • stay strong-- you are brave & inspiring to me!! 😊😊🌟🌟

I am hanging in there… life is still pretty hard, but God is good to us! my boyfriend just gave away his younger daughter in marriage last week…and it was so lovely! I was able to stay by his side through the entire reception with my new set of wheels…so I was really grateful! even got out on the dance floor with him :) How are YOU doing? how are you feeling these days??
