Yes, it's so fun working in Youth ministry with my hubby! Tiring... But fun! 😁 Lol I will ask my hubby if he knows of any good resources for your boys! He's a book worm so he always has great suggestions! One that might be really good is "The One Year Devotional for Boys" it's for elementary age and I did the girls one when I was younger!

We're stationed here in Germany for 4 yrs bc my hubby is in the Air Force. I love it here, but to me there's no place like home! We have 2.5 yrs left so I'm hoping we end up stateside after this. I was born and raised in SF/bay area so Cali is where my heart is! 😊 All of our fam is still there so that's the hardest about being here - so far away fr everyone we love. But it's def an experience! Our first duty station was in Hawaii, so we lived there for 3 yrs, then back to Cali, and now here. I can't complain since it's def an opportunity of a lifetime to raise the boys here and expose them to European culture, I'm just a big baby sometimes and get homesick. 😁😩

Focusing on prayer and reading Bible stories and scriptures... It's so precious to see him loving to talk about Jesus! You're doing a great job by leading them to Jesus friend! That is so awesome that your hubby is in the air force! I can't imagine having to adjust to so many different changes... I can only imagine that it has had a lot of difficult moments for you guys! You're right... So neat to be able to raise the boys for a time in Europe but I bet you miss home and your family terribly! 😢 I will be praying for you that God gives you and your precious family strength for this season of being so far from home! Psalm 46:5 🙏 and I also pray He brings you back to the States (California 😃) after your next 2 1/2 years!!! Then all us girls can finally hang out!!! 🎉😄

It is a very encouraging devotional for when you are in a difficult season of life and just need extra encouragement! I love it! Another fave is Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon... That's a great one for every day Christian living! Those are both 365 daily devotional readings! :) another book that I love (not a Devo) is called "A Mom After Gods Own Heart"...

I read three chapters in the Old Testament and then I usually read one chapter in the New Testament such as the book of Matthew. I can't always read it all in one sitting so I space it out :)
