andine Bless you and your mom for doing that!!! I did that once for a squirrel. I know...TMI at this point. But it was in the middle of a road with lots of cars going 40. I thought its tail twitched. I stopped traffic, Wrapped it in my sweatshirt and drove to an ER shelter. In Washington they cant treat wild animals but it was fine once we set it free. Then I bawled all the way home b/c I thought I had let it go where it's family didn't live, miles away from where I got it. I was in HS.

I got an image of the chipmunk's friends going to the store with their nuts and buying him a wheelchair! That was too funny!!!! Roflmao!!!! So sad about the little guy tho! I've had a huge learning curve living in the country now. There are always dead animals beside the road. Its still so sad to see them. I was feeling pretty bad about that chipmunk/ needed a laugh! Thanks!

vacat @wasabigirl Oh I could not have run him over!!! I'm the one that would be trying to get him to the vet!! Our vet came out once for the standard six month visit and I was telling him about a fox that I saw earlier that day that was limping badly. He, knowing me, was quick to remind me "that's a wild animal so don't think you can just get him in the car - he will attack you!" Well, kaduh!!!! Even tho I did want to!!
