Labor Day weekend, we donated the proceeds of any sales to rescue animal organizations. See www.savethesi68.weebly.com for more info about the SI house fire with 68 dogs rescued. We work with rescue organizations and are personally expecting at least two fosters this week. (We've had five this summer) The dogs from this home were victims of hoarding and will need medical care as well as foster homes. Buy something you have had your eye on and help save a life!!

507south @designhamptons thank you for helping the dogs!!! A woman after my own heart. I am involved with a rescue group as well. Can you post the information for the art sale? I would be interested in dog art especially if the proceeds to to help rescues.

carenlovesgucci @designhamptons Good a evening sweetheart! I LOVE HOW YOU CHAMPION FORBTHIS CAUSE!BI am flat broke after vacation (which was taken with no pay) ... BUT...., due to your POST... I am going to my local Humane Society tomorrow!!!!!!!! I save older blankets,,sheets, pillows.. Instead of throwing them away, the Humane Society happily takes in these items to help keep the animals warm, pad the kennels to make beds, etc! I will do this in your honor of you my friend!

designhamptons @vacat It has been a whirlwind roller coaster the past couple weeks. We have one foster that was on the shelter kill list and one from the SI68. The dogs have all been placed - not all in foster homes as we would have wished - and if they are all like the one we have, they need lots of care. I'll post a pic of Ronnie tomorrow (I think there's one on Instagram actually). He's been in a cage all his life so little things like walking and eating are a trial. But he's making progress. The fundraisers didn't go as well as hoped but we're making due as we always! I'll let you know as soon as the necklaces are online. Thank you! vacat Thank you so much for the update! Poor babies - caged their whole lives. That just makes sick. I'm so happy you have one of the shelter dogs as well. If I lived closer, I could help more.
