pioneerbabe @sassysuzzy they are so much better in person. The iPhone camera is only 8 pixels and doesn't focus the best which disappoints me. I put a lot of care in each piece I make. It has to be perfect or I tear it apart. I will only use high quality products. Since I have overseas manufactures I purchase from I can do a lower price for my clients. sassysuzzy @lana88fan I looked thru my things & went up to Tacoma to see if my favorite consignment store had anything. It seems that all I can find is black semi-formal things. At any rate I fared better at home but I'm not sure if it's what you are looking for. Our Son is getting married in Maui in Feb & I bought 3 dresses. I will put one in my closet. It is really pretty but I'm just not sure it's formal enough. I love the back of it & you could wear a Pashmina with it, which is what I planned to do. I have a darling skirt & blouse that I will put on here for you also. I will play with a few things & you let me know.

wenrella SS, I didn't send it, it was a good by letter. I thought since I know my friend is in heaven maybe if I left this world I would be there too. I'm in constant pain! If I were a dog I'd be put down. Seriously, PM has become my social life & the reason I get up in the morning. I'm better now. I know taking my life won't end my pain. Debbie on the other hand was only saved for 8 days until she took her life. I know that God has mercy on those who don't know the word. I never could find it again & I only glanced at it so I wasn't sure if that is what it said. If you reached out to me before this then please forgive me that I did not catch it. My God girl don't you dare let the enemy rob you of What God has planned for your purpose on this earth. I know you had mentioned briefly that your dear friend had committed suicide & you took some time off to grieve. When someone does that they leave their loved ones wondering "WHY DIDNT I SEE IT", "IF I ONLY HAD CALLED OR VISITED, WHY DIDNT SHE CALL ME, OR A MILLION OTHER THINGS". It always leaves the Survivors feeling guilty & responsible. I can tell you TRUTHFULLY there was nothing you or anyone could do to stop the intention once she had set her mind to do it. She was in a broken hearted state & not able to know that things wouldn't always be that bad. I look at my friends & family members who have committed suicide & I see the darling Grand-babies they would have so enjoyed, or other wonderful things that they could not have believed because they were in such a dark state. If only they could have known that it wouldn't always be so dark they could have held on. YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT OR PERMISSION TO HURT YOURSELF IN ANY WAY! DO U HEAR ME? I am no prophet but I know what God spoke to my heart about you when we first talked. Please communicate with me at Sue@newlife4s.com. That is the only email I check regularly. If you are having these thoughts I want to find someone for you to see in your area. I will hold your feet to the ground because you are my sister & I love & care about you! wenrella No, but I thing it had something to do with the interview last year. I just spoke with @ scarletstained. She got her letter today! So we r going to contact PM and recommend @ 4sq before she quits Poshing. Her closet is amazing and she helped me with the PM B-Day party, she shares the PM❤️ she's trying to find a real job even though she is very sick with some kind of blood disorder & cancer. sassysuzzy @mizfabulousity I could tell that about you right away. I'm like that as well. Have played a game similar to this at a party. They passed around a roll of toilet paper & you were supposed to take as much as you thought you needed. Who knew what for?? So I took a bunch as I figured more had to better then less. I couldn't have been more wrong! For every square you took you had to tell something about yourself! So here I was visiting my brother in So CA & didn't know anyone except my brother. So I came up with a few things & had about 20 more to go. I just went blank. I mean who really cares to know that much about me!! So I'm thinking, trying to come up with something & my 5 yr old Son says, "Well you could tell them that you started your period today!" I was so embarrassed! He had seen my toiletries in the bathroom that morning & wanted to know, "What are those things"! Who knew it would bite me in the butt in front of total strangers. He is 33 now & we still laugh about it! I wasn't laughing then trust me & he got a big scolding!! Out of the mouth of Babes.

sassysuzzy @nanilinda Thank you Doll for the pep talk. Dan is leaving at 4am & I hate to see him go. I know that Mom knows she's losing her independence & she feels herself getting weaker. My fear is Her Paranoia. This is new just this week. First she said, a teenager knocked on her front glass window & waved saying, "Having Fun in there?" Then she told Dan & I that someone was singing in her house last night. I quizzed her about it & she said, "I'm not stupid!" I said, I know Mom but I just was asking were they inside or outside the house & she said, "How would I know!" My first thought was that maybe she was hearing Angels but it made her frightened. Anyway, we will get her new CT Scan when I return from Hawaii. I pray for strength & endurance. I'm supposed to have surgery when I return. Not looking fwd to that:-(. Love u. Get rest at the Ocean & Enjoy. Send me pics!!

sassysuzzy @nanilinda I was so excited for Mom to see Maui. She's never been. We looked online at her room at the house we rented. About a month ago she said, "HONEY, I WANT TO GO SO BAD BUT I DON'T THINK MY BODY WOULD MAKE IT, SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I THINK IT BEST FOR BOTH OF US IF I DON'T GO." I know both of us are so disappointed but I know she's right. She also said it was so hard for her to get around & we would all have to take care of her & she wants me to rest. Please pray The Lord takes her home before she suffers. Dan had a dream that was so vivid before he came. He said, "Mom was suffering in agony & he threw his body on top of hers & begged God to take her. That would be more then I think we could bear. You know that first hand! Re brain, I plan to call her Dr to let him know. I don't want to say that in front of her. She would be defensive & angry but it was never ok to be angry in her house. Just pray that I will serve her & care for her patiently to the end. Who knows she could do a turn around like your Daddy. With God all things are possible. She says things like all us Mom's do that trigger me w/guilt. I know it's age & health but it can send me to the moon & back because I'm trying so hard. I need to stay cacooned in the loving arms of Jesus. I do much better when I'm staying in prayer & meditating on the Scriptures. I KNOW He can be trusted. Always has. He is my refuge in the storm. I love the Scripture that says, "He gathers us under His wings like a Mother Hen covers her chicks in a storm." I use to watch the Mama Hens at my Grandpas when I was a child. They always knew a storm was coming before we did (Amazing how God put that internal instinct in them), & they would hunker down on those chicks. You could not pry her lose. So I love the analogy of that scripture because He says that is what He does for us. I must focus on that rather then circumstances. No Dan can't come back anytime soon. He is the Plant Mgr & has made himself indispensable. He worked 80 hrs a week for 25 yrs until his heart attack & cut it down to 60! He also is lead actor in Ramona Bowl Play. We all went one year about 5 yrs ago. I am going in May w/Bea's Daughter to see him in it again. Google Ramona Bowl Play in CA. I am the only one to care for Mom. I sure wish they could help me more. Randy is too ill to travel & Darrel is out of town so much but he is changing his travel to leave on Tues so at least he's here Fri night to Tues morning. Bride & Groom are both down w this respiratory bug😝 They each have so much to do before they can leave their jobs so they keep working. Pray they aren't sick on Wedding Day🙏 Yes getting married on the beach at Sunset. They are having a Traditional Hawaiian Wedding. They went there 2 yrs ago & planned to go back when they got married. I'm planning a big Family Party (hers & ours) at our house ( one I rented, will send u site)! It will be a pool party w Dinner, Dancing & FUN!! I'm decorating w/ lights, lighted Chinese Lanterns ( which in the end, we will all pray a blessing & send our lanterns into the air)! Can't wait. Love u HOPE U REST AT THE BEACH HOUSE. IM GOING TO COME C U THERE WHEN WE BOTH FEEL BETTER. SAVE SOME $$ & WE WILL DECORATE ON THE CHEAP!!! SEND ME PICS EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT FIXED THE WAY U WANT. I LOVE BUYING THINGS FOR BEACH HOUSES OR LAKE HOUSES. TTYL😘❤💃🙏

sassysuzzy @nanilinda I've looked into Senior Services, Social Services & she does not qualify because her house is paid off & she owns her car. Hospice is not provided until they give you 6 mo to live. She has friends in town & I will ask them to check in on her. She still drives. Dan said he thought a Dad was tough but Mom is as tough as an old boot. The lady w a 6 yr old still comes in at night around 6;00. Mom still insists on making them dinner. I just have to surrender her to a God. Have fn at your beach house!

I have to have surgery soon that would put me down for 10 weeks but hoping I could put that off. Not sure if she will let me. I see her on the 19 th. I also have a ticket to go see my Bro's in CA in May so I can't be jet setting too much more. Still I want to go. I'm working on it. If we can go then I would share expense of car & have my Aunt pick me up in Little Rock when we get back. Should spend a few days w her. LMK & I will LYK😜

onecaratdiamond @sassysuzzy See what your doc has to say and we'll go from there. Flights around $550 or so but even re-thinking cheaper if leaving on the Thursday instead, perhaps a red eye? I think the best option was Frontier without big layover times but haven't researched all that much just Friday flights investigated at this point. I just returned from Mexico have our anniversary trip coming up in May and the off to Denver for our nieces grad, plus college tuition etc... For the girls. So, suffice it to say we are in the same boat... in need of some miracle sales to make it happen. I will do some more research and get back to you with options. Enjoy your day sweetie😘

dbarn @sassysuzzy Hey girl! Have you thrown me out to the wash? Lol? I know that road goes two ways. THings have just been so hectic here and I've been so frustrated at Poshmark for the most part I just havent been on except long enough a few times a day to share my 5 o features thinking if I push 5 or 6 all the time one of those will get a bit. but no such luck. Going on 6 weeks I have not sold one solitary freaking thing. I am really ready to just throw it all out the wash. We are trying to get our house ready (still) and it would really be better if I just took all these clothes to Goodwill anyway and not have to fool with them. Guess you can tell i'm venting. Just flat fed up. I've tried and tried everything in the book. I've been here a year now and each month I say next month will pick up, next month will pick up. No such luck. ANyway how have you and your mom been? Is she doing any better? Handling the treatments any better? How are things with you and hubby? Things are OK here. Tuesday was my birthday an d Brian waited and took me out Monday night for dinner then went out of town, late that nght, (He couldn't wait til Tuesday, He was supposed to be there Monday Morn so we had to celebrate a day early - I was fine with that,. He took a day to stay home with me even though it wasn't my birthday quite yet. He got me the nicest card. Things seem to be slowly getting better one step at a time. We are still trying to get our house ready to sell. We are doing so upgrades which is what is taking so long. We are spending aroung=d 3K in improvements (granite countertops, repainting, replacing flooring in 2 of the batghs, etc. in spending this our realtor (whom we have k nown all our lives, and who has sold our last 3 houses) has assured us we will get at least 3 times a return if not 4 - 5 and it will sell quicker as well. Ive been so busy dealing with contrators and looking into building our own vs,=, buying somewhere (we have built all the homes we've lived in but the banking and mortgage industry and slapped down so hard on consruction here it is close to impossible to just build a house on your own without going through miles of red tape) So that is falling on my shoulders since Brian is out of town all week. We did look a house the othre day that was slightly above our price range but was absolutely gorgeous aand had everything we wanted were we wanted except for a basement that Brian wants. So everything is just up in the air here. How are the honeymooners? Any grandkids on the way yet? My kids arent even dating and I'm ready for gran dkids!!! (Lets keep it in the right order though!!!!!) Gotta go for now. TTYL

sassysuzzy @dbarn We sound in similar places. My Mom is not doing well. Too long to go not. I usually have 3 or 4 Dr appts for her & I. Am stressed to the point of no return. Don't have time for Posh but do as I can. My Mom is my one priority. I will never get this time back with her. I don't know how I'm going to live w/o her Denise. She keeps telling me, "His Grace is sufficient for each day!" She is an extraordinary person. Really, trully! Everyone who meets her loves her. She was 89 on her Birthday last Sunday. I knew I was nuts w all hats going on in my world to throw her a party but I think it will be my last. So glad I did! It was gorgeous & 40 Friends came. She said, Sweetheart, you've gone to so much trouble & I don't think anyone is going to come! They did! I also wrote to Family & Friends & asked them to send her a card telling her what they think of her or a story or special memory. She received hundreds. I'm so sorry I missed your BD!! I'm going to send you a little something. Hopefully before Christmas. Sounds like you are up to your ears in house repairs, looking to buy or build!! We did all of that remodeling to sell once & after everything was updated I didn't want to move. Know that our lives are in chaos right now. If I don't hear from u or u from me, we are still in each other's prayers & thoughts. D is out of town now over 10 mo. Here Sat & Sun gone M- F. Not good. I can't go because of my Mom so it seems like we spend two days arguing & off he goes. Call when & if u can. I will do the same. The 3 hr time thing is the problem. Hugs to u my Friend.

dbarn @sassysuzzy You sound stressed to the hilt. I know this with your mom is difficult. But the best thing you can do is to start preparing yourself. Yes we believe in an all-encompassing God, a healing God, an omnipotent God, but there is also this thing called "life". And I;m saying this but I've never been there However I have a mom that lives in so much pain there are days she asks God to take her home and she is the biggest Warrior for God I have ever known. I don't think we know how to deal with the child vs. parent vs.child thing but most of us will have to do that at some point. I;m shooting from the hip because I'm not in yur position. Although in moms rough times I've have prayed for God to not let me be selfish when she could be pain free if He chose to take her home. I did watch my Granddaddy die with altzheimers and it was a horrible death. He lived for several years when we prayed for God to take him on home so he could finally be at peace. It was hard but when God finally took him home we knew he was in such a better place. I know it sounds easy just to say they are in a better place but you have to make yourself BELIEVE it and picture it. Google some of the people that have died and gone to heaven then returned from their death and listen to what they saw. Know where your mother will be. Prepare yourself now and began the ardous process of letting her go. I know that souinds hard and mean, but I think in the long run you will cope better when the inevitable happens. Even if the caner doesn't take her, she is at the age that you need to be doing what I've told you. The bible says we are all to die but somehow we think we or our loved ones are exempt from that, but the truth is none of us is. We all will have our time. Yours could be before your mothers. You need to enjoy the days you have left and don't worry about what you will do when she is gone. God will take care of that. Obviously there will be deep grieing process - you are a Degreed Counselor - you know that process. You have to allow yourself to go thru it and do what you tell our clients to do. You CAN make it without her. Just like you could make it without Darryl or anyone elso for that matter. You have your strength in your GOd. He is as close as your skin to your body. HE will lead and guide you through this unbearable situation . And it will be. But YOU CAN come thru. Spend and cherish all the time you can right now. Take advantage of Darryl being out of town and conentrate on spending quality time with your mother. I know at the end that will make it harder but you will be so glad that you did. I don't guess you needed a counseling session today but guess you got one anyway - lol. Don't fight with Darryl when he comes home. Just live in peace. That is a CHOICE that you can make. It willbe hard at first but in the end you willbe glad you did. GUess I'll go for now. I;m at home today from work with a migraine and I took some pain med about 15-20 min ago and it is kicking in. Please take everything I've said in love because it was given in love (or pain med one - lol;) This is in no way an attack on how you are handling the situation because I would probably be doing the same thing, I'm just trying to give some advise cause I'm on the outside looking in. sassysuzzy @dbarn I am doing all that you've suggested. Of course being a Licensed Therapist in Private Practice, I know all about the grief process. But no matter how much you try you cannot prepare for the deep loss you feel when you lose someone who you love so much. I know you r trying to help but I have already walked that road which began when my brother died. I was 16 & he was my 6'5 hero! I lost 7 people in my family in six yrs. My daddy died when I was 19 only two yrs after my brother. I know all too well the path of grief. I am spending every waking moment with caring for or taking my Mom where she needs to go. I do her grocery shopping, her Dr appts, etc. My only priority is her & my health. We talk endlessly about our fun times, memories or stories from her childhood. We talk openly about death, her burial, her casket bearers, songs, her belongings, etc. I have had the responsibility of taking care of her trust, recording her assets, putting everything in order & all of this w a brain injury. She is my soul tie to this world & I KNOW HOW HARD IT WILL BE WITHOUT HER. I don't have to google people who have died & came back. My brother who is a 11 mo older then me died twice two yrs ago & was brought back to life. He heartbeat was gone so long that they said he would be brain damaged but an MRI showed no damage. He has always been my best buddy & he is very ill with congested heart failure, sugar diabetes, etc. He is on oxygen 24/7. I will have to say goodbye to him soon. We never know if it will be Mom or Randy. As you say it could be me but more likely the two will be them. I told Mom, "WE STARTED OUT WITH 6 THEN WE WERE 5, now we are 4! Oh Denise you do not know of what you speak. You are so blessed to have both your parents still living. I was a teenager when my Daddy died unexpectedly at 51. Tall, thin, full of life & overnight my life changed forever! It's very easy to give advise about "preparing" but you tell me how! I'm talking to her about it, spending my time with her, know it's inevitable but "PREPARE?" Let me know how that works out for you when you lose a brother, Mother, Father or Son. Anyone who has dealt with pain & loss of their close loved one will tell you it can't be done! Grief is a hard & difficult road. A very lonely road because no one can walk it for you or take the burden of it off your shoulders for a day. If Mom was in agony or pain I would never want that for her & all 3 of us kids have asked God to take her home before she suffers the ravages of cancer. We will do nothing to stop God from taking her that would cause her more pain. She is not where your Mom is. She hurts but never complains. She had a bowel prolapse 2 yrs ago where they found the cancer. I'm getting ready to have the same operation in Seattle but with everything she has gone thru w her colostomy I refuse to let them do that to me. My Mom wants to live so that she can intercede daily for her children & Grandchildren. She would love to see her first Great Grandchild but her trust is in God & she will go home when he says, "Come!" As far as books to read I have the last one my Daddy read before his sudden death. It is highlighted & marked where he tells God, "I want to go w eyes wide open. To experience everything from passing from this life into his eternal hm. I want to be conscious the whole time"! Dad just finished speaking at a Conference in Colorado on Fri night where he talked about death & the book he had been reading. How he had asked God to let him stay awake & enjoy the experience. I read & re-read that book. Most of all I read what the word says. At any rate, Daddy took the red eye home & the next morning at 9:00, Mom called me & said, your Dad is having a heart attack. I placed my hands on his chest & began praying. I just knew he would be ok. He was never sick. He took my hands, kissed them & said, "Sweetheart, I don't think Daddy 's going to make it. Your Daddy loves you & you will always be Daddy's Little Girl! Please take care of your Mom." The ambulance came & he died an hour later in the ICU. I HAVE FOUND A PLACE TO PUT MY SORROW & MOVE ON AS HE WOULD WANT ME TO DO BUT THAT TOOK MANY YEARS. TRUST ME THERE IS A HOLE IN MY HEART WHERE HE SHOULD BE & I STILL TEAR UP EVERY TIME I SEE A FATHER & DAUGHTER TOGETHER. I don't have time to address your comment about "don't fight w Darrel & it's a choice." Is that what you guys do with conflict? By fighting I don't mean yelling or screaming, I mean working thru conflict. Choosing not to do so will only allow you to live quiet lives of silent desperation. Got to sleep. Past my cut off. Thanks for trying to help in your own way. Always Remember Jobs Friends. For 7 days the sat with him grieving w SAK cloths & ashes. Never uttered a word. That's what he needed most. But then they began to give him advise & spiritualize things. That is where they failed their Friend. Hugs

I've never walked down this road so I don't know what I am saying or doing, I'm trying to tell a doctor how to treat a cold, I apologize bvut look at it from my end, Here I have dear friend that means the world to me and I can' help. All I can do is offer what I think is the best advise I can offer, never having been there mself. As for Darryl, yea maybe we have chosen to throw some things under the rug and start over, but that has been the best thing for us although probably not the ideal, it has worked out ok. i was just trying in the only way I knew how to offer some hope and comfort but I obviosly failed miserably. I apologize for jumping in where I should not have been. and offfering advise when I didn't know what I was talking about. I was merely trying to help a friend through an extremely difficult time and I see I failled miserably. I'm sorry., I know I;m blessed. I've never had to even go through the grief process of death so I know not of what I speak in so amany words. I was only trying (miserably obviously) to show some support. I''m sorry.

I just wanted a safe place to vent & it's way late. Too late obviously for me to be up talking. Lately, everyone has plenty of advise for me & not enough of those who weep with those that weep. Unfortunately, you got the tail wind of it all. I also trust you to be a Friend who I can be honest with & have confidence that you will work thru these issues. Thank you Sweetie. My bad. Going to go to bed now. I love you & please forgive my abruptness. My stress is high & this operation hanging over my head is troublesome. I need someone to care for Mom while I recover for 8 weeks. There comes a time when you want to help but just just don't know what to do and I probably came on too strong with "all the answers" but it is hard to just "listen" by way of writing. if You know what I mean. i was just trying to help. Maybe if you can get some decent sleep you will feel a little better, If you really want those items it comes to $23 but don't get them them unless you want them . If you are gettng them just to boost me, don't do that. You have enough going on.

I wish I could take some of your pain away but I can;t. And i obviously didn't say what needed to be said. I hope you feel better after a little rest. I don't understand the $7 thing you =are talking about. DOn't just buy to make me feel beter. That would only make me feel worse. THe men just left our house from measuring to put granite contertops n my kitchen . I love my realtor, I've grown up with him and he is like a father to me. He is giving us a list of stuff t do to our house before we put it on the market and i hope this doesn't backfire on us. We built our house in the lae 90's whem light blue and mauve was in vogue so bright Denise thought she would put in mauve countertops. That looked really good for about 3 years then as the trending started to move the more pinker they looked until they look pepto bismal pink. So my realtor has told me if I put in granaite tops for 2K I'll g3t at least 6K or even 8K back on that investment. I sure hope he is right. They are supposed to install them next weekend. we are having trouble finding where we want to go. Wjhere we want is about 50K over budget for what we want to spend. we have talkaed about building again as we have our last three houses but I really don't want to move two times and the govt has made oit so much more difficult for builders and consumers to actually build it is unbelievable. There is a house in the subdivision I love. it is the only one up for sale. It was gorgeous. But like I said more than we wanted to spend and we haventg even got ours sold yet so it would have to be a God thing but Ohhh I loved it so much. Had so much character! Anyhway just pray with me. Give your mind a break (Is that ok to say?)

I have to see people but seems all I do is run to Dr appts & argue with health "Professionals!" Mom has 2 appts today. It really sucks to rush, rush, rush. Going to CA on Thurs. planned this in Dec. getting people lined up for Mom. She only wants me to help her because she doesn't want to put others out! We r making it one day at a time. Mom got her heart monitor put on again today. She's been n a-fib for almost 5 yrs. Not sure what they can do at this point. Looking so forward to my trip. One of my friends who grew up w me is going to come also. I haven't seen her in 14 yrs. Her Mother was my God Mother & ours was theirs. Our families were so close. They moved to Santa Maria, CA when I was 14. We would still see each other on a Summers but life moves on. Her Mom passed away 3 yrs ago & she was the chosen one who took on the responsibility of caring for her. She changed her diapers, they sold their house & moved in with her because like my Mom she wouldn't leave her house. She has really regretted that & I really want to pick her brain. For now, I just put it all at a The Fathers feet. I can't carry it any longer. Love U

sassysuzzy @nanilinda I'm sorry I didn't call you back today. We are leaving for Spokane for four days & I was doing errands until 10pm. Still have to clean out my closet as they are showing our hm tomorrow. I haven't even packed yet. I will be in the car for about 6 hrs so I should be able to call. Mom has been a bit better but still needs care. We will get her cancer markers next week. Hope they are going down. She has been down on her back so I may have to back out tomorrow. I really want to go as this will be the last time before he goes on a traveling frenzy until Nov!! Mom just won't stop when her body tells her to. She was making her bed & she got a spasm in it. She decided before she put some ice on it she better get her dinner on. Swiss Steak, mashed potatoes, gravy & veggies. So that Jonah & Laurie would have dinner when they walked in! So SHE HAD TO LEAN OVER TO GET THE SKILLET & HER BACK WENT SPASMING & She is in a lot of pain. Today she basically laid on ice & heat & took oxycodone. Will go by to c her before I leave. The boys are taking turns checking on her during the day & Laurie is hm by 5:30. We will access the situation tomorrow. Got to go. Gonna be up way too late again!! TTYL LOVE YA!

Not only that but our closing on our current house and our new house is on the same day so we won't have to move any where in between and have to move twice. We only have to move from here to there!!! id you look zt my emzil znd see the pictures? I had a meltdown today signing the papers \. this is gong to be hard to leave. My boys were riased here and we've been here for 17 years and I really love my house I ust an't continue to handle the steps so we have no choice but a ranch. sassysuzzy @dbarn I'm so excited for you & also understand the mixed feelings. I've always wanted a pool but it isn't feasible here with only 3 good mo out of the year to use it. Yes God can move things & He is a God of order Think I told you we put $ on a larger home 6 doors down so Mom can live w us. Had lots of people in last week but this week been quiet. Maybe it's Graduation & all. Had about 15 Couples on Open House & all responses the Realtor said were positive. Their is one she has listed like ours only different floor plan & everyone loves ours best. So do I. Won't hurt my feelings to stay. We only moved in 2 yrs ago & this was to be our retirement home, on a golf course, has a Restaurant, Spa, great community & we still want to remain here but Mom needs lots of care & it's wearing me down. It will also be nice to have more room when we have Grandchildren. The Newlyweds are working on it. I don't ask, I just listen. Will check out pictures!!

The one we are buying is on a contingency to sell ours. Dread the thought of moving but in the long run it will be nice. Wish i was going to SF w ya but already bought my Oprah Seminar tickets! Why they chose SF in Nov is weird to me. It's too cold in Nov. Wear that gorgeous Blue Fox Coat! Just watch out for the whacko's that throw paint on ya😝😄

Honestly you know nothing about my situation. I am on disability due to a severe fall that I took & lost my career. I rated you high but as I said I save 5Stars for "a Couldn't do anything better!" No one sees those ratings but you & they are to help us improve. I go to the dollar store for cards, ribbon & tissue. It costs Penneys but does take some thought & effort therefore the 5,Star! 5 means nothing to improve on. Please take this info meant to help not harm & don't assume you know my position in life. kutterbest Dear lady, first of all- you are just simply gorgeous and I am in love with that hair! @dbarn has become a fabulous Posh friend, reaching out to me in great time of need and support with prayers and words of encouragement. I understand YOU could use reaching out ,too,as well. I have been a community college counselor for past few years until going out on medical leave thus losing my job.... But one of my constant thoughts I would share as is my strong philosophy of life, we have two arms and hands for apparent reasons.. One arm and hand is to reach up to one reaching out to help the other arm and hand is to reach out to one who needs help thus we get through life enhanced both ways... My mother used to tell me for years "sweetheart, why don't you ask for help when you need it? Why don't you let us know when you're in need and help you?" My reply was always.... I am fine,Honey, I can work it out and handle it...(her name is Honey 👏👏☺️ she would say, life could be so much easier and sweeter if you let us help, and don't you know how much it would help US to be able to help YOU and how happy it would make us feel.. But I just didn't see it that way.. I was the one people came to and LEANED ON , I didn't go to others.... But, I can tell you right now, I learned the hard way , that I NEED PEOPLE AS MUCH AS PEOPLE NEEDED ME!!!! And how much as my life been enriched as well as enriching when I realized WHY I HAD TWO ARMS AND HANDS!!! I have reached out to "like" ones for spiritual support and I finally ALLOWED MY MOTHER TO HELP FINANCIALLY!!! I needed to come to Mayo Clinic for a while now as neurosurgeon had referred.me to... I am now in Minnesota actually at Mayo , been here since Oct 4th and still two weeks for,sure, and hope I can my Dec appointments worked in from cancellations to,go home after 14th when I have surgery to remove two tumors. I have needed all,of these Drs and nurses SO BADLY AND JUST IN TIME FOR one thing to save kidneys and liver as some of my problems caused from kidney damage! Telling you that for the next part.. My mother called one day and asked if a certain amount of money would help me.. I said there is no way I could ever take a single penny from my mother (now 84) she says Baby you aren't taking, I would be giving.. I said oh no I could never do that. I watched two siblings suck her dry.... After a week,of not even being able to get out of bed, and my sis had brought her down for visit...she cries and says please for,once let me help you.. So I took that money, bought airline ticket next morning 6am for Rochester,Mn from Gulfport, Ms and paying Guesthouse Inn by the week , and airline ticket home will be the exact amount of money she gave me!., there is a purpose in the plan for everything we do,when we listen and allow it,, I have played piano,in atrium here several hours causing many to come to tears and talking wiTh others reaching out and reaching up has been amazing., had several singers ask would I play for them to sing...again causing SO MUCH OUTPOURING OF EMOTIONAL display causing other forms of healing and people meeting each other that they likely would never have opened their mouths otherwise! sassysuzzy @kutterbest you have not crossed any boundaries. I loved it all. It's easy to give but it is harder to receive. I was hoping your story would end with you saying you let her help you. I have said the same things to my boys & I felt every word your Mother was saying. It is exactly the heart of a Mother. I loved you sharing about you playing in the atrium. Before you were born God put the gift of music in you. Music is a powerful tool. It reaches the Soul. I think of David & how he was summoned by King Saul to soothe his mind by playing his harp. Music lifts our Spirit & you have that wonderful gift. So does @dbarn with singing. I love the piano. My favorite instrument. I took lessons as a child but didn't pursue it once I was in Jr High. To my sadness. I would love to play & even thought I might take it up again but I have no room in our Condo. God bless you & keep you. sassysuzzy @travelinggirl68 Sorry for not staying in touch. It's been very hectic. We moved a few mo ago to make it easier to care for my Mom. Only a few doors down but. I still have some things in boxes & Mom has a huge amt of dishes, etc. I will be closing my closet sometime in the NY. It's just too much. I recently fell down the stairs & broke my back so I'm on a brace & not supposed to lift or bend but that's next to impossible until my sweetie gets home then he takes over. Mom will be 90 in Mar & I want to finish strong with her. She deserves the best. She has always been the best Mother anyone could have. By the way, I have those shoes you said your daughter would love to wear to the prom. She is welcome to borrow them anytime. I keep them on one of my tables to display as a work of art.

I broke my back after falling down the stairs. My fibro is always there. I find that no matter how bad I feel it helps me if I CAN move! I have to force myself. Taking care of my Mom is a labor but a labor of love. I pray everyday for strength everyday. I will be praying for you also. 15% is not living! I pray they find a cure for this awful disease.

Our Son was 23 when we were told he had colon cancer & had no chance of living. We held prayer vigils for him & he is now 33, just married last year in Maui. Cancer free & the Dr has absolutely no explanation for it. I do. It's called a miracle & I will be asking for one for you!
