Are the coins silver?
Feb 01Reply

maryreid
@hsteinfeld I added a photo (last one) of the different coins I currently have drilled. They're all from different decades and countries, so it's hard to say what they're made of. I know US coins are now made largely from copper, nickel, and alloys. I made one for myself from a Thailand coin and I've worn it for days on end without a sign of it turning my skin green or anything like that. But if you have a nickel or copper allergy I would guess that there's a chance of a reaction. Hope that helps! Let me know if I can answer any other questions!

I actually like the one in the first photo you're wearing, is that silver?
Feb 01Reply

maryreid
@hsteinfeld it's silver in color but unfortunately I don't know the metal composition :/ it's most likely made of alloy metals. My boyfriend's dad raveled extensively in the 70s and 80s so he has a really cool coin collection (that I raided)

These would make a great necklace with just one on an antique chain. Or a few coins for a bracelet.

Hi! Would you be willing to sell some of them, loose? 😊
Sep 13Reply

maryreid
@chasemeridian sure, how many/ which ones?
Sep 13Reply

chasemeridian
I think I want like 7 specific ones, is that too many???
Sep 13Reply

maryreid
@chasemeridian no problem. I have a lot that aren't pictured here. Any countries/sizes/colors you prefer and I can take a better photo for you?
Sep 13Reply

chasemeridian
Awesome! I really like the gold and silver colored ones on the left, and the multiple sides shapes. Which countries do you have, generally, if you know? Are they all already drilled? You are making my night!!! 😊
Sep 13Reply

chasemeridian
I can seriously think of so many things I want to make with these so can you tell me your best price on "a lot," haha?!

You got my attention with these pieces. WOW!! this is so cool. I dont wear any rings at all but this definitely just change my mind. I too like the silver and gold coins but I am a fan of big statement pieces. I would have to say the biggest coins are my favorite. I am a believer if an item is custom you should show it off (my pic says it all)...Go big or go home lol..just my thoughts. I am followin you and I will be in touch soon.

Do you still have the little copper pig coin?
Jan 23Reply

maryreid
@rraaqqss02 i added a photo (#4) of the last 2 pig coins I have (Bermuda), the 1994 is not drilled and I could epoxy it to an adjustable ring band, the 1993 penny is drilled and I could wire wrap it to a given size :)
Jan 23Reply

rraaqqss02
@maryreid OK I'll take both! The size for the wire wrapped will be a 5
