FOUND these at the LL Bean outlet store in Freeport, Maine. For anyone still looking: call 207-552-7772 and ask for bean boots in your size. I found they run a size bigger, but if you're unsure, they can measure the soles for you. Then you can order over the phone and they will ship for free!! I was able to snag mine on an extra sale. Reg price $109; I paid $58.22!!!

@methodclothe bought some on eBay last week but the seller listed them as women's and they're actually men's. I'm so mad

tanabe94
What price range?
Jan 05Reply

ejworsham
@tanabe94 it depends on brand, condition, etc. Do you have any for sale?

Jan 05Reply

nljorda1
@ejworsham no. I have the classic LL Bean duck boot :). The best 8"
Jan 05Reply

ejworsham
@nljorda1 do your bean boots run big or tts?
Jan 09Reply

nljorda1
They run big love. I had the hardest time getting them. If you're an 8 I would go 7.5 or even 7. Best thing to do is measure your foot and call ll bean... They'll measure the boots for you

@britttoney LOL! *duck* boots ๐ I called the outlet store in Freeport Maine and they had some left in my size. Just tell them that you need them shipped to you and you can pay over the phone. It was really easy! The number is 207-552-7772
Jan 13Reply

ejworsham
@britttoney I called and asked if they had my size in the style I wanted and when they said yes I just told them I needed them shipped to me because I don't live around there. They were really helpful and friendly. They were shipped today so I should be getting them in a week or so.
Jan 13Reply

ejworsham
@britttoney they were also 30% cheaper than the website which is a great deal considering how long these boots last

Thanks for posting! My old boots ripped last month, can't imagine going without my ducks!
Jan 28Reply

ejworsham
@helobuff no problem!! I heard ll bean will repair them for you. Have you tried that?
Jan 28Reply

helobuff
No mine are not bean.. they are great though or rather were great! Dry rot on the plastic. ugh. Mine were Sasson. Thick warm lining. I miss them :( Will get the beans! Ty so much for posting this! Your the best!
Jan 28Reply

ejworsham
@helobuff no problem!! I've heard these literally last a life time!
Jan 28Reply

helobuff
@ejworsham Found this on how to care so they don't rip like mine did -
1 Brush the dirt off.
Clean any surface grime off the leather uppers with a soft brush or cloth and finish with a few swipes of a damp cloth. Allow leather to dry completely away from direct heat.
2 Preserve and waterproof.
Use a natural beeswax-based conditioner to protect and weatherproof the boot. We use "Boot Guard" but Sno Seal ($5) is a good one too that's more readily available.
3 Restore the rubber.
Wipe the bottoms clean with a wet cloth and dry. Good old-fashioned Armor All ($6), applied lightly, can be used to restore rubber and prevent cracking and color fading.

@ejworsham Just read online DO NOT use the armorall, I read it cracks the rubber! They must be trying to get you to buy more boots in the one above.. Hope no one uses it. Can't delete it.
