When it comes to matters of design Sophie Duran is a virtuoso. Her Anthropologie-exclusive collection is something to behold, and thanks to classic silhouettes, they are truly wearable. Here, lacy godets and black piping splice a landscape-printed silk maxi with a 40s dressing gown feel. This lined gown is spectacular! Purchased for an Oscar acceptance speech in a film, the scene was cut, and the dress never worn. I'm not in a hurry to sell this... it's a favorite.

@bohobottega @itslwl I KNOW, isn't it? I was so bummed when the Oscar scene got cut... the Motion Picture Academy would not allow them to use an Oscar - or anything that looked like one - and they decided just to side-step a possible legal mess... :-(
