@cassandraknox cassandra! i knew your time was coming up to host! congrats!!! i recently hosted last month and here are some helpful tips that helped me. although they say only 50-100 i actually shared 150. next, pace yourself because you could share everything within the first hour, or rush to share everything in the last few minutes. also, have someone share your closet to the party because all your shares to the party will go straight to the host pick room. last but not least, this is the most important, have fun! it will go by soo quickly! savor the moment! pls take a look at my closet for a possible HP? if not i understand. congrats again and hope the tips help 💕💕

❤️Yes, relax and just try to enjoy the event❤️ You can't make everyone happy😣 All girls that have hosted before, completely understand that. It's so hard not to get worked up about accidentally hurting someone's feelings, by not being able to give them a HP, but being limited to 100 makes it impossible to give out all the HPs we want😣 Just do the best you can😍 I am doing mine a little different this time, because I want to surprise girls with HPs😊 But, the best way to do it (I think) is to like all of your Host Picks so they are all in your Likes Closet, then the night of your party, just copy/paste your cute little congratulatory note and then share the listing❤️ I left the like on the listing so that I could go back to my Likes Closet after the party for easy reference to tell girls they were welcome, etc😊 I hope these tips help some😊 You will do great, Cassandra❤️

Oh, jeez, I see this happened last night. I haven't been well and had to sleep. Ok, I'll do this in two parts. First, an easy pick will be from any recommendations from people who recommend anyone...all of the people I tagged are following all Posh guidelines. So you don't need to thoroughly "vet" their closets. (I'm not certain about anyone else's list, but I'm 100% certain of my list.) Do yourself a favor and don't ask people to tag you on items. They will anyway!! LOL, even during the party. And your news feed will be full. You can change it to comments only. If you ask people to tag you, you'll have them as comments. Then when you find your theme, you find theme appropriate items and you like them. The night you're co-hosting ANYTHING you share will be shared to the Host Pick room. So ask someone else to share your closet during the party. Also, it's best to try to create a timeline with the other co hosts. You don't want a lag. So if one of you shares your hundred picks in the first hour and someone shares theirs in the second hour and then the others share throughout, you'll be set for a great party. If this isn't discussed and agreed to, everyone will want to share theirs first...then it becomes boring because there aren't any HPs in the second hour. And you can have more than 100...you should also have extras, just in case.

Part 2: I think this is really important. You want to tell people that you gave them their HP. There are people like me who sit in the HP room and congratulate people. Some people word it so it could be misconstrued, unintentionally, as them giving them the HP. So you want to be the first comment. It can be easily and best done on the computer. On the computer you don't have to go to the listing to write. So you write your comment first and then share. Your comment should be something like ....I picked this great item for the ____Party on ____(date). Congratulations!... Use whatever words are comfortable for you but make it clear that you picked it! Then unlike the item and go to the next listing and paste your comment and share, then unlike it. After 2 or 3, refresh your screen so that you don't have the ones you've already shared or it gets confusing. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions. I'm really happy to help!! I'd encourage you to sit in the HP room one night...you'll see why I think this is so important. 😃. And prepare yourself for about 7pm, Eastern, the day before, the official RSVP will go out from katef and your feed will be insane!!! Let me know if I can help in any way!! 😃 OMGosh!! Lucky duck!! 1. Turn off your share and likes notifications! Severely lower your feed!
2. Don't try to share back at all! Everyone knows how busy you are so u can put up a note expressing gratitude but also catching up rt now is NOT possible-don't try to keep up!
3. I picked HPs by pressing on the names of the women who liked my party listing & I had more than enough closets! Also you will notice that you will see items you like from closets you just find.
4. Don't worry about trying to give all your friends HPs bc it can't be done. And most understand this and if they are bitter they weren't your friend in the first place-I had a hard time with this one! Plus a few weeks after they won't even remember-do you know everyone who has given u a HP? Plus I have had many I consider my posh friends have awesome parties bc I had not seen most of their HP ever before and found new closets.
5. Balance! Live your life to-it will fall into place!
6. You are queen now! Remember to enjoy it!!! Plus if you want to have a sale-this is a great time to do it bc your closet is getting so much exposure & people love even the word-SALE!
7. Find several people who are willing to share or share part of your closet the night of. You can't bc it will go directly into HP's. plus by more than one you will make sure that someone won't miss it, forget, or get sick, or have something happen. I will share your closet the night of-just remind me-or I will tell you hey I remember! (Just cover your bases)
8. Enjoy bc it goes by fast!

@tara_picks They say 50-100 picks! I went to 100. Could have used about 500 more!! I started before I got my theme and went really glitzy glammy girlie. Then I got the basics theme and had to start all over! I must say I have enjoyed my theme. It made me think about how different staples/basics can be. Fun! I really focused on new closets and no HP closets. It sucked when I found a great closet then scrolled to find they don't follow the rules. LMK if you need anything.

@katefrancis I had 3 poms. I love poms, there so cute. My little lion was a red Pom, too. His name was Chase. He was 6 pounds dripping wet, but a fierce protector. It breaks my heart that he was taken by a coyote, not long ago. Thanks for the follow, btw.

@katefrancis Poms are so cute! They are yippers but they are loyal! Mine seem to have all the purebred Pom issues; knees, collapsed trachea. The two in my picture are called party poms. So naturally they have to be in the party pictures!! Chase was such a lover and cuddled. I can't believe how much is miss him.

@danaea Hi Danaea. First and most important, you have to follow posh rules. You should be actively sharing your own closet and other posh closets as much as you can. You should be following as many closets as you can. It would be beneficial to share and follow only closets that follow posh rules as well. I know sometimes you follow a rule follower then at a later time they add something unsupported. Just make sure who your sharing, especially to parties. Basically, be active, be honest, have a good selling history. I know sometimes gals who have hosted may nominate you to host. Some gals contact posh and ask to be considered to host.
Looking at your closet, I see some unsupported, non compliant listings *spray cologne *used makeup and *used bras. Makeup and lingerie is allowed as long as it is NEW WITH TAGS - NWT. Other than that your closet looks good.
Any perfume, electronics, mens or children's items, books, DVDs, PayPal, trading, off site selling (ebay, etsy etc) home goods are NOT allowed.
