Beautiful Fuchsia Chanel Mini Flap handbag comes with gold details including the once popular tassel. Black interior with a zip compartment. Bottom of purse has quilted interlocking C's. Made in France comes with authenticity card and dust cover. This bag was purchased from I. Magnin in Beverly Hills almost 26 years ago. No receipt, no box. In excellent condition given it's age. Happy to send more pics. I'm not looking to trade and don't have to sell it unless someone really loves her.

chiefofstyle @larissafromla Well, like most fab divas here, I'm balling on a (recent grad/recently laid off) budget. 😸But, I don't have a preference. I LOVE vintage which is evident by what I have listed in my closet. I love pieces that have a story. Thats why I love vintage so much!! I'm a journalist and studied journalism with a focus in international reporting and broadcast news. I also did a post-grad fellowship in entrepreneurial journalism (basically, how to create a business out of a journalism venture) and am starting a style blog. If I could drop a few $K on a bag like this, I would in a heartbeat. I'd love to write a few posts on fab bags like this with a story behind them. Because I'm sort of a cultural ambassador both personally and professionally (I have written on the black deaf community, Native everything -I'm mixed race and Native American, but feel close ties with Latino communities as I grew up speaking Spanish and am fluent and lived in Spain- as well as haute fashion by the cultures of diverse designers and femme lesbian identity: queer women who hold are no less feminine than straight ladies), etc...my style blog will be really 'different' than most. I also plan to dissect what people call "tribal" prints because not everything "geometric" is "Navajo." Some prints are actually from the Northwest or from Nigeria! (Big difference!) At the same time, I love luxury items from Europe (France, Spain, etc) and I adore BLING✨ so I'm kind of all over style wise. And, I'll be talking about body acceptance, given that I'm a curvy fashionista. I just love nice things that make me feel good and want to share that with others!😸💃✨💖

Everyone can write about pretty and skinny people looking fabulous but as we all know, EVERYONE WOMEN can be fabulous irrespective of race or body type. How fortunate you've been to study abroad. I visited Spain too and love the culture. And yes, thank you for pointing out the subtlety of prints. We water down cultures so much just to make them fit the norm but as you say, I love the story more. So this bag has a little history and since we're both LA originals (very rare in LA these days😊) you'll maybe remember the store IMagnin? My ex husband bought this beauty for me the 2nd year we were married. I saw it and fell in love with and ended up getting it. She's old but she's in great condition. larissafromla @treasure_trove irony in life: my ex husband and his family were all skilled leather craftsman and actually supplied many of the fine European companies with hide. He used to tell me and show me what happens. You are absolutely correct. It ruins the finish. Leather can only be colored in a single process. I've just kept her very well and barely used her. I think around Easter this will change. 😃😃😃🎀🍭💗

treasure_trove @larissafromla oh yes yes yes, definitely buy vintage when it comes to the classic flap, I've read so much feedback about the current releases not being up to par. For instance the sticthing coming undone 6months after purchase, the gold tone rubbing off etc. I'm partial to vintage b/c the chains used were of 18k gold and full leather lining. Now they cut corners :-( Plus as an investment a well kept vintage is the way to go simply b/c in the coming weeks Chanel is raising their prices so if you buy a classic flap preowned for around 2000 today in a couple of years you'd be able to resale it at twice that price b/c current classic flaps will retail around 5000 for the small/medium sizes. I would recommend buying one sooner then later b/c the 2.55 anniversary is around the corner and I can imagine everyone's going to try to raise they're prices just "because". Let me know if you ever need help authenticating a vintage bag :-) I've been obsessively studying Chanel authentication for the last yr and a half

I have a total of four Chanel vintage. In addition to this one, I have the satin mini flap for night time with the locking C, I have a small quilted with tassel zip top square and I have the caviar leather bucket bag with drawstring and gold balls. All four were purchased before 1994. The gold chains are perfect and the materials are superb. You are so kind for your sweet offer. As soon as I find the one I love I'll let you know. 😘❤️💐🎀💗

treasure_trove @larissafromla Portero is a bit overpriced however if you don't mind the stress of bidding on things look up ebay user yuko0702 I just bought some vintage Chanel jewelry from her. And try to find a flap that includes the serial card, it just helps you in the long run IF you ever decide to resale it. There's a few good vintage purses here on Posh but it takes forever to shift through actual vintage and those whose call their bag vintage b/c it doesn't have a serial sticker :-(
