If it's too small/big atleast say something. Lately i've been having people ask me to model the items. I did that once for a pair of sunglasses, emailed the pics directly to them & all they said was "thank you". Never again. People need to take an etiquette 101 class or something.

I've been getting a lot of people lately asking about bundles..then saying they might add more...and i wait..and wait...and then never hear from them again lol. Whatever, I mean I get it, sometimes you want to get stuff and then you're like omg I probably shouldn't spend that money right now.. But it would be nice just to get a sorry I changed my mind or something. Anddd I hate when people ask for something $15 less than its priced..like really? I feel like that's just rude. I would never walk into an actual store and start negotiating lol.. ohhh well ;)

Or even better ask for a price for a bundle and then never respond.. No thank you, nothing. It's just rude..people have no manners lol. I've also been getting a lot of low ball offers lately too. In my listings it clearly states, prices are firm.. Don't offer me 15 dol less 😡😡 but I'm also too nice and then end up going lower and screwing myself over a little 😪 Ohh but then you have the wonderful things about posh that make it all better ☺️😜💜

grammiesstore It won't ever change. I call it the Posh mentality. Try to buy for the lowest price no matter how ridiculous the offer or how unfair to the seller. Poshmark advertises to buy designer mdse for 80% off......and then give Poshmark 20%. I'm still looking for those bargains.

deana75 Agree! I changed the price on one item three times in the last two days for "will you take?" then no one purchased. I won't lower that item anymore now for anyone because I'm so annoyed. Also the rudeness. I cancelled an order because I didn't realize my 8 year old took a headband that matched the outfit, so I apologized and asked if they would like to cancel or me discount, and I get yelled at instead to "find it" nope, cancelled and goodbye. I'm an honest person, so being honest and wanting to tell a buyer upfront.

I think I have jumped through more hoops to help just one person out in the last 36 hours only to have her tell me...."oh can you hold that for me the bank is closed now". This is already after she stated she had enough in her posh account to cover purchase. I was not going to make anything on this as she had been driving me crazy with messages hounding me. I finally just had to block her and remove the listing and re-add it again after some time. I am with you all.

greenivirgo This is great! I'm pretty new to posh- only made a couple sales- but have def had some of the annoying issues ALREADY. "Did you measure the top of the inside of the waistband or just the inside of the waist band?" .....like... Wtf? And then after measuring every possible seam, inseam, whatever- she disappears! I don't care if I lose the sale, they never purchase anyway so why knock yourself out for them? When you browse on a retail clothing website do you send Customer Service an email: Please model this dress in several ways that aren't already posted & also please lower the price & I would rather pay for it maybe sometime later so could you hold it for me until I decide sometime next month? Like sometimes I want to say to people..Do you walk into the mall and start negotiating with the people at the register? I of course will do the bundle discounts and stuff but when someone bundles and I tell them the total, then the price with bundle discount, which is like $10 less, then they ask me to take another 7-10 $ off.. UGH! In the beginning I was WAY to nice and would just say ok, thats fine. But it gets to a point where that 5-10$ here and there adds up and you realize you're loosing money. I envy people that can just be like NO . I'm getting better though 😊 I'm so glad I made this post, it's nice to have somewhere we can all complain to each other!! 😄😄😄😘

I had a MAN, yes a man who had an account on here selling his stuff come on my listing saying it's cheaper at...., then he went on to list ALL of the stores that sold what I was selling. I was dumbfounded as I couldn't believe the rudeness of this man, he shouldn't have be able to open an account anyway, but I have come across many men who are selling on here and it's just weird. Anyway, I told him to please keep his comments about my listings to him self and if he wasn't going to buy anyway to leave my listings alone. Then I reported and blocked him. chic007 I had a wonderful women have me jump through hoops all afternoon. Getting new measurements, posting new pictures, and talking color fabric etc. Then she proceeded to tell me she wasn't going to buy from me, because after looking at my sales it looked like I waited a week to send everything and she is picky and OCD and wants it now. WELL if that was true, I would understand, But I was brand new and had only made 2 sales. Both were mailed within 24 hours. Turns out she was looking at the wrong closet!!! Damage done. i had multiple people commenting on how they weren't sure they wanted to do business with me based on her comments. Had to delete the listing and start again. Tons of likes and old comments with information just gone because she is OCD and can't even make sure she is in the right closet!!! Vent done… so glad I can post my shipping time and closet stats, but still if a listing says something like that, who goes into the closet looking to see if it is true? No one, they just leave. :(

themissnixon Haha, the first picture! Very accurately displays how everyone of us women feel everytime we feel disrespected. That's all it comes down to, respect. If something has happened & you can't purchase, no problem, tell me. I'm a very nice & understanding woman. But when you have been going back and forth with me for 2 days and then when it's time to purchase you said "I wish I had the money" it's mean. Tell me your price range from the begining and I'll direct you to something just as amazing!

rondadaniel I had someone put over 30 items on Hold for her promised she was going to purchase when her check came in which was in 4 - weeks . Reached out to me many times. Went through each item with her and agreed on a price. Even reached out to her 3 days before she was going to purchase due to I had a few buyers that wanted to buy these items on Hold still insisted she wanted them. She then reached out the day she was going to purchase asked me if I was ready with bundle then reached back out to me an hour later stating she only wanted now to purchase the two bags, then reached back out again telling me to hold off she was going to purchase all items then reached back out stating at this time she only wanted the two bags. I refuse at this time to sell her anything, I would rather give the bags away for free. It is unbelievable that some can behave that way and feel she does not need to even apologize. I lost revenue because I try to give everyone the benefit although I have been screwed on putting items on Hold before.

sweetgirl88 Love this post. I once had an item posted for $18 and I agreed to lower the price for a girl. We went back and forth thru comments and finally agreed on $10 (I was being nice!). She said she'll put in an offer for that price. When she did, she made the offer for $8. OMG 👿 At first, I'm like what? Then I started laughing 😂 What people would do to save $$!! I ended up declining the offer and not selling it to her.

rlwiest Happened to me just last night. I was fuming mad. The worst part...it was an experienced posher on posh since March 2013 with over 50k followers. First she asked me how low I'd go on a price. Then she commented she found the same item online for a lower price. I would expect that from a young, new posher. Had to repost the listing. But before I did I took screen shots of the comments so I can contact Poshmark about the incident. Sorry for the vent...I guess I'm not over it yet.

mneitch @jessica2_lynne1 Love this. I find that I have to actually raise my prices to accommodate all the low offers!! I try to be fair and honest but sometimes these "girls" make it very hard!! When they can run you ragged over measurements and price and THEN effect your ratings by giving you a 3 because the $8 shirt didn't fit right, something needs to change!!! 😤 For crying out loud ladies if it doesn't fit, or you decide you don't like it, PLEASE just re-list it!!!!

I've only been on 6 weeks and have had a mostly really positive experiences but there have been a few that infuriated me! Not sure how many ways you have to say something runs small before they ask you a question... Maybe prior to purchasing 🙄😑😒 at least we all have each other to vent to 😄😅
