tookiesmom Amen. I had a girl got ugly with me because she said she barely had time to ship by the 8th day and I was getting irritated but wanted the merchandise. I told her maybe she should take a break from selling until it was more convenient for her. I was not by any means being ugly but she blessed me out and cancelled the package.

queendivacloset @von35 I know what you mean. Some are not even active on posh. One way I check is by asking if an item is available & if they don't respond I don't buy. But then you have active users who just don't care to ship in a timely manner. I have many cancelled transactions because shipping within 7 days was just too much for them, lol

queendivacloset @kryssykat I agree. I personally release funds ASAP when a seller ships timely and I get what is described. I know some buyers may forget to accept especially if they don't login often but if you were deliberately ignored then that's just plain rude.

queendivacloset @mrsdubdeez That's inconsiderate. I can be patient for 3 days but by day 4 I'm irritated because it makes no sense. Busy or not you can have it packed and drop it off on your way to or from wherever even if the post office is closed, you can still go in and drop it off inside shipping slots. No excuses.

Or if I am home I schedule a package pick up. I want my buyers to get their stuff fast so I don't understand people who take several days to ship...😐

queendivacloset @susie6604 Yes it should. The post office usually scan packages within 1 day of shipment. I have found that some sellers lie about when they ship the package. Most post offices don't take 3-5 days to scan a package. One seller claimed she shipped after 8 days and still no tracking ever posted......

While there's no fool proof way to avoid it, I usually check out sold items from their closet and check comments to see if they are responsive. I also ask how soon can they ship if I need an item soon. It helps weed out the slow/ unresponsive ones

queendivacloset @susie6604 Yes. You can ask buyer. That means she opened a case against you claiming something is wrong with what you sent her. If she mentions fit or changed mind in comments, be sure to take a screenshot of it and send it to poshmark because some buyers lie to get their money back & poshmark does not offer refunds for fit/ changed mind

mwrenn @queendivacloset hi again. Been reading your closet. Good info. Additional info. I dropped a package in the corner box at my PO. Never made it inside )for real). Never tracked or showed up. Posh refunded to seller and paid me via their insurance. My remedy I am disabled. My PO is a landmark with about 20 steps. I cannot go in. So they come out to my car and scan it right there and take it. I will download the USPS app as an alternative. Thanks again It

queendivacloset @mwrenn the mailboxes are great and convenient for small packages and the mailman usually scan packages the same day. Sometimes if I know I'm going to be home I just schedule a package pick up so they come to my door and scan packages as they go. I'm glad poshmark was fair to you too and you didn't suffer a loss.

queendivacloset @divaqueen99 Good for you. I appreciate sellers like yourself who ship out promptly. There are many who thinks it's okay to wait 7 days to ship just because poshmark gives sellers 7 days to ship. On top of that the same ones don't even bother to inform buyers of the delay. It's sad but most of my buying experiences are positive ones. So the majority of us know better. πŸŽ€

queendivacloset @divaqueen99 You can cancel the sale on the 8th day if the seller has not shipped it. Contact poshmark about your stuck package.

divaqueen99 @queendivacloset yeah. My 1 sale was positive and my first buy.. not so much. Ended up re-poshing the item. I emailed support and im like not sure what else to do.

queendivacloset @divaqueen99 it may take a few days for poshmark to respond. It happened to me before. My package was in transit for over 3 weeks and poshmark made me wait till a certain date and I ended up receiving the item on the very last day. They will refund you if you don't receive your items by the date they give you.

sunshinelilies I TOTALLY agree with this. I try to ship my items either the same day or the next day and I expect the same courtesy when I make a purchase. I understand it's not always possible, but that's where communication comes in, which a lot of people don't do. It's irritating when I message someone and they never respond, but then I see they're actively sharing listings😩 and I hate when someone waits the whole 3 days only to tell me they are happy with their purchase! Soooo inconsiderate!

queendivacloset @c_sales_stuff_ Yes. Communication is the courteous thing to do when they know there will be a delay but as you said many don't do that and some feel that because posh gives them 7 days to ship, that they don't have to make contact.

Ok it makes sense because she had left me messages saying I didn't know what I was talking about lol. I always wondered how fast she knew I did that. Thank you for answering my question dear. danielles4444 Honey I've been on posh for a few years! I only buy now. I use to sell. But it's funny because I just had to send the same comment about waiting to pay for a romper I bought 7 days ago that I was suppost to wear for thanksgiving . I sent her a message saying that now she will have to wait on my payment. Anyway have a great holiday

queendivacloset @pbakhoum I definitely feel you on that! I'm the same way. I ship same day or next day, gift wrap & thank you note and sometimes I still have to wait 4 days for the money. I'm used to it now though. Some people make a purchase and then don't log back into posh for awhile.

queendivacloset @kitcat315 There are many inactive poshers who list stuff and never log back in. Have you asked the seller about shipping? If you do and get no response, they are probably inactive.
