mixitup I try and stay away from fake items. I got a Kate Spade purse that was supposed to be real but I don't think it was so I didn't keep it. I didn't go and resell it because I didn't think that would be right. I think alot of people don't realize they sell fakes since they bought as authentic when it is fake.

There will be a little square icon in the top right of your screen, click on that and it will show options on reporting. It's a bummer to report people, but selling replicas Is illegal! You have to turn in people that are selling fakes! its unfair to every posh seller. it make the people who sell real expensive items not receive the price they should for something amazing. Also, I think you will really appreciate this. every week for the past year and a half, I pick 5 closets that sell quality REAL items in each of their closets. I promote these wonderful closets, and i go through a check list to make sure they follow all of the poshmark rules. it is so important in my opinion to promote woman/closets that do the right thing and follow rules. So I pick my top 5 favorite every week! they are they women that should be getting the host picks. They are setting real examples of what every posher should strive to be! I am a suggested user, and I follow every posh rule. I do this top 5 list and promote it because the women who do the right thing deserve praise. I then assume that new poshers will see what you get (host picks, sales, ect.) when you follow the rules. So I call it keeping posh clean! sstrom1 This is complete BS. I was sold fake Michael Kors scarf and hat by a seller last week and I contacted Posh support via email 4 times explaining the situation and got no response. I begged them to please refund my money as it's the holidays and I cannot afford this to happen right now. I contacted the seller and she was extremely rude and mean when I asked to please refund my money as I knew it was fake and could prove it. I am very very disappointed in posh as I am a good customer, I spend a lot of money on here, I follow all the rules and I have referred a lot of people to this site and I'm seriously thinking of leaving. I have a lot of social media marketing contacts and negative experience creattes bad marketing and no response from them was not cool at all.

katz2 @sstrom1 @tdkbkt6 Shannon, I am so sorry this happened to you! Posh generally responds to claims of fakes. I'm assuming you opened a claim that the item was not as described? And you provided them with pictures from the listing as well as actual pictures of what you received. Did you also show how you determined they were fake? That's truly important. Now, since you're not happy with the outcome from Posh, the best way to get their attention is to Post your problem on their Facebook page. They monitor that and I have seen them reply promptly. I am truly sorry that I know no other way to resolve this.😔

sstrom1 Hi @katz2 thank you for responding to me. I don't know how to open a claim once I have accepted an item (because it looked fine and was in a sealed box). After sending 4 e-mails and arguing back and forth with the seller and ending up in tears several times I just accepted that I was not getting my money back. It's just extremely frustrating because I don't know if I mentioned it's like the 3rd bad sale in a row where someone sent me something that I can't even use and my money has literally gone to waste. I don't know how to do all the functions and I only use this site on my phone but the bottom line is I follow all the rules and spend my hard earned money and (what is a lot) for me and when I don't even get a response when I'm clearly upset and have been ripped off it makes me not want to spend another dime on here. ...AND warn others not too :/

katz2 @sstrom1 Shannon, you can still open a case. Go to your purchases, find the item, click on Problems/Order Inquiry, then select Not As Described. From there you need to state your case. Let them know it's fake with supporting pictures that you took with your camera. Tell them it was accepted right away because you didn't want the seller to wait for the money and that it was wrapped/boxed when you received it, but on inspection after you opened it, it was fake. The burden of proof that it is fake lies with you. You need to prove beyond a doubt that it is fake. Don't give up and there is no need to contact the seller.

She has over 200 tumors throughout her body with two hyper thalamus brain tumors. She's 21 and longs to travel. She has always lived with me which I love! Vomiting and pain are the two biggest issues. She's on heavy pain meds but the vomiting is hard because of her brain tumors. They are too deep to operate on so she lives with daily nausea and vomiting. Thank you, with all my heart for asking about her!!!

She made a small stride back up again I think. It is a day to day thing. They had actually made her a dnr on fri. 😢 So, I spent all day fri and sat at the hosp. I would be there now but I think I ripped a stitch in my incision. It really has been tough to let it heal with all the traveling back and forth to the hosp. to be with mom. jsalaver I've noticed a lot of non authentic makeup. Too faced. Urban decay. Mac. As a buyer I ask for pics of everything before buying but I've ended up with fakes. I report them back to Poshmark. They tell me to destroy it and they will refund me.

cali_gal @sstrom1 I just ran across this...did the situation ever get resolved, or did you ever hear from Posh? that's so strange that no one replied. If you still haven't heard let me know and I can try something. @katz2 had some very good advice as well! I know that once an item is accepted it's harder to get a refund, but it's possible. jbutler626 Amen!I'm so glad you posted this!I can not stand used make up used panties and fake items.It's gross and disrespectful to anybody.Those are all things I dont post and wont put up with!I try my hardest to keep posh clean as well as make sure all my items are described as best as possible authentic and unused such as make up panties etc.I've never been a host pick and hope to be at some point one day but will continue to help keep posh clean and fun and continue my addiction of using posh lol :)
