Hi ladies, I was new on Posh not too long ago and had some great help and would like to return some of the love by passing on what I have learned. @mmegaann Hi, host picks are picks from hosts at the last party of the day, what is so awesome about getting your item picked is that lot of posters will shares your items to their followers and your items get more exposed for a faster sale. Hosts will look at items that has a clear shot with good description in closet that follows all Posh rules. You should definitely join all parties as much as you can esp the one at night and shares the main showroom items and the host picks items as much as possible. Ppl will share back and it just grows from there. Let me know if you need anything else.

@jay_lam Hi, the hosts would search for items that matches the party theme ahead of their date. They will technically only choose items that follows Posh rules and guidelines. Your items should have clear cover shots and good description. Using apps to create a nice frame/presentation also help. You can find out ahead of time who are the cohost and can request for their consideration of Host Pick. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck and happy Poshing!

@jay_lam Just an advice. When ppl share your items, you can thank them but share back, and don't ask if they are interested because they were only sharing. I share a lot and personally I get turn off when the person instead of sharing back just thanked me or asking if I'm interested. I'm less likely to share from that closet because every item I share I get a thank you and and interested. You know what I mean? ;)

@jay_lam You can email Posh and ask them to consider and they will check out your closet and they will let you know. It might not be done right away as there are thousands of ppl asking for the same thing.

@jay_lam Hey, they probably hadn't pick your item for HP because they saw you have inspired item in your closet. Some ppl can be mean and even report you to Posh so just careful listing those items.

@shopaholic1962 Hi, welcome to Posh. It's great that you have the mannequin, so you should try to model all your clothes on that. When someone like your item you asked if they have questions and bundle offer which is also great. Ppl don't like to see "interested? " here. But in order to communicate here you have to put @ in front of their name in order for them to be tagged and see your comment. If the comment is made in their closet then you don't have to but if you make a comment in your closet you do have to. Like how I had tagged your name @shopaholic1962 in the beginning of my comment. I hope that helps, but feel free to ask to you have other questions dear ;)

cute photo, i had been in the rv for two days under a tornado threat!!!! Outside of Nashville was scary. Got out today to meet a friend and it is raining again. Is it slow at Posh Mark? I added some new things while in terror and under a table!!!

@shopaddict911 no not under the table. i had and have horrible reception so i cannot tell if Posh is slow or not. In retail this time of year always is. The kitties were in the cage and we had wine. I figured if I had to run I could always pass out in a ditch!!!!!

I love all of my items, just can't understand why I have no action. I've been helped by some lovely ladies, still at a stand still. @weimar I don't do it personally, but i have seen it was recommended and i also see closet with lots of host picks do a lot of asking. But in the end, i think it's just depends on the individual co-host feeling abt it, they're aware that they will be bombarded with request though!

@1shoppingmomma You should leave your cheaper items on top so the lower price would attract ppl, otherwise they just think your closet only carry higher price items. Ppl are reasonable here but many just looking for literally dirty cheap so they will still might bargain with your $10 items but at least you got their attention. Just my opinion ;) I hope you have your first sale soon!

@mellyboo1 Hi, welcome to Posh girl. So there are 3 parties a day, the 2 in the day has specific them so you can only share your items if it' fits the brand or the theme of the party, the one at night is for everything so you can share all the items in your closet to the party so other potential buyers can see it. When you sign on at the time the party is happening it will automatically ask you to join, or you can just go to Shop, then Party to see if there is an active one to join. The most important thing is sharing items from other closets to your followers even if you don't have lots of followers. When you share other closet items they will share your items to their followers in return and your items get more exposure. Follow closet that you like. The more you share the faster you will get a sale. I hope that helps. And have a great time on this site !

@amissaelian81 Hi, welcome to Posh and that's awesome that you had made some sales already. So you're on the right track. Just make sure to join parties as much as you can, especially the one at night. And share as many items from other closets as you can, so they will share yours in return. Take good cover shots, if you have a picture of the item modeled is better for buyers to have an idea, and take pictures when it's sunny so your items are bright and attract more attention. Response promtly, don't ask if they are interested, just thank for their likes. Lots of ppl here don't like to get bombarded with Interested? after liking and sharing an item, it gets annoying over time. They will go back and unlike your item sometime. This is from what I read in posts about this issue when I first joined and as the time goes on I do start to share the sentiment. I hope that helps feel free to ask if something else come across. @msrachelh Hi Rachel, everything in your closet is worth sharing and I'm glad that the info in this post helped. Try to take your pics in daylight so it will be bright and hang them up if you can. When others share your items just remember to share back. The more items you share from as many closets as possible, the more expose your items will be because others will share your items to their followers. You'll make a sale very soon!

@petiteshortie Hi Em, i actually just asked you a question about the Chanel powder so you might have another sale real soon ;) I was looking thru your closet and i think you might not have share you items enough. The way Posh works is thru sharing, so your items can be exposed to others. So i would suggest that you should share all or most of items in your closet to the evening party daily if you can and share items from other closets so they will share your items to their followers. If you have items matches the theme in the daytime then join that as well. It does required some work but it will benefit you in the end. I promise!

I think you have the right start but sharing your closet and others, following ect. My next thing would be responding to any likes you have by offer your time for any questions or any bundle discount or any special discount you are offering. Just keep at it. This site requires you to actively sharing to keep your items current and be seen by others. So join as many parties as you can. Keep Poshing and your closet will pick up!

To answer your question...You won't see messages listed all the items that you've shared, but if you shared an item from a closet, that closet would know just as when you see a message that someone had shared or liked your item. Katef works for Posh, but I don't think she actively pick HP, only on rare occasions. The other cohosts pick them, you can ask for HP because your item matches the theme but don't ask them to share or to pick your item to boost your sale. The more you share the more other shares back, the more times your items get expose...higher chance of selling. I hope this helps!

@amissaelian81 lots of ppl share your items but you don't see them on your message board right? Same when you share items they just go to "Feed". So only when they go to Feed they will see those items listed and under each item you will see whom it was shared by. @patepies So ppl do go to feed to share items that were shared to them.

@amissaelian81 @patepies don't feel bad guys if this was your first block. Lol. I have a few blocks myself for no reason from closet that I don't even know or seen before. I told you guys before, there are lots of nice ppl here but there are also some viscous one and they form clans here. Posh to some ppl like high school with different sororities. I just treat ppl with respect and I expect the same back. And be helpful whenever I can because I think we should be kind to one other since ppl on this site for all different reasons. I haven't blocked any one even the rude one, i just educate them and they don't come back.

It is extremely strange. She had only shared a sign on moorepatrice's site. I replied it is a great sign and that i was tired. That was it! It is sad cause she has a very nice closet that I had been sharing. For something that silly it is a nose being cut off to spite her face ( or something like that)

@mommakatt66 Hi, welcome to Posh. I just look at some of your listing and found a few things that I thought I should point out to you. When someone shared your listing, you can thank them but share back their items and don't thank the same Posher for each share that they have don't for you. Don't ask if they want your item if they only share and didn't like your item. It's a turn off to the person who does the sharing. Definitely, response to any like you have but not to the one that is liked and shared. Join the last party as often as you can, share all your listing to the party, then start sharing listing from the party to your followers, and share the host picks items to your followers. Let you buyer come to you if they want your item. I find that ppl here don't like aggressive seller. But what works is sharing! I hope you'll get your first sell soon luv! It will happen! I hope my pointers help.

OH MY I NEED YOUR HELP. I sold an item and the item was already delivered but it still shows "Pending USPS scan", the buyer is unable to release the funds... I attempted so send posh support about 23 messages and I haven't received a reply. This has been about 2 days of no reply from posh. Do you know of anything I can do? Under the posh rules it says that if there are numerous days where I fail to ship the package, they will cancel the order & refund the buyer. The buyer sent me a message and states that she got the package but can't accept it because it still shows pending usps scan

@amissaelian81 Hi, no worries. Go yo your sales list and under that item, contact Posh, informed them that the item had been sent and delivery was confirmed by the buyer, request for your fund to be released. They will respond. No worry abt canceling because they don't but after 10 days of not shipping they allow the buyer to cancel, as long as your buyer doesn't cancel you are okay. The mail person might had forgotten to scan, just email Posh again the way I just mentioned and they will release your fund sometime even without getting in touch with you. Let me know how that goes!

The thing is that USPS Tracking info on USPS website shows package was delivered.. Posh sales page shows pending usps scan. I will try contacting posh under the page you are telling me. Thank you

Posh still hasn't responded to my emails & I sent over 30.. they buyer said she refuses to return the items so I don't know what to do.. I am so stressed. It isn't fair...

@amissaelian81 don't stress sweetie. You can't email Posh so much or they won't be able to get thru them all just do one or twice and they will investigate and release the fund for you. It just not as fast as you like but they will release your fund, no need to have the buyer return the items.

@amissaelian81 You just need to take a breather girl, I know you might be depending on the fund but don't harass Posh or your buyer so much, it's not her fault that the money is not release. And maybe Posh just got overwhelmed with your 30 something messages and ignore. I only email them once if I ever have an issue, I would get an automated response from them then couple days later, it gets resolved. So I know they do work on them. Just try to sell your other stuffs and this will work out, you won't loose your money so don't worry about that.

I just received an email + a reminder on posh to ship my item. It asked me to click & confirm that I "plan" to ship the item, so I clicked it & I forwarded the email to posh support & explained that the buyer already received the item. Hope that does something.

@amissaelian81 Just leave it alone and it will work out. I saw your repeated comments to the buyer within the hour lol, I could imagine how much time you click sent to Posh LOL. When you feel compelled to send something every 5 mins. Just walk away from your device, give ppl sometime to see it to respond. I don't think Posh is completely ignoring the issue, just don't email them anymore, and give them some time to work on your case.

I have a question. I spend ALLLL day on here and I try to do my part and share as MUCH as I possibly can. I also follow as much as possible. I'm up to about 130+ shares a day now. Ive been active on posh for about 2.5 months and my closet is picking up and doing pretty decent...I'm honored to say that more than 30% of my current closet are HP's! (yes...:) Anyway, im floored when i go to people accounts and they have 17K shares and they are newbies too. It takes me all day to get follows, follow a few hundred ppl AND share the 130+ people that I normally share...is there a secret to sharing on here more? I figured out that sharing host picks in parties help me pick up the slack with shares when i need them...but how do you share THAT many people when you still have to eat, sleep and work?...lol i need the secret because i feel like a slacker but im soo trying!:(

@shay3624 Hey girl, i share a lot like in the thousands a day, most of my shares are during the party at night and return at least 3-4 listings per closet that shared any listing of mine the night before. You be amazed how many shares you do in 1hr hitting each listing that shared to the party, but refresh it every 20 minutes or so, you get new ones. You can get more followers by share a few listings in the closet and follow that closet. They will follow back but if you just follow they might not. I earned my followers from sharing and from poshers liking my closet. I tend to only follow closet that i'm interested in. And definitely sharing host pick would get you share back, but not everyone will share back. Do your parts and it will come back to you double sweetie. One night i got about 700 shares back!

Do you have any tips on how to get some of my things sold? Posh takes such a big cut I can't see reducing much more than my closet is listed for already. I have so many things to post but I am lost as to how to price anything so it will sell!

@nymanda1 Hi, ppl tend to bargain on whatever price you listed even when you just dropped it like a second ago. I normally priced a bit more than my lowest so i have room for bundle discount and the haggling. Also offer to get shipping discount to your buyer by creating a listing of the item or bundle with higher price like 20-30% higher than the agreed sale price, your buyer likes it, you lower the price, Posh discount their shipping to $2-3. You have pretty shoes, post them with your shoes on or have someone post it, so ppl can see how nice they look if you have the time of course. And share as many items from other closets as you can, that is still the best way to make sales. I hope these pointers help sweetie😘

@ariellayne Hi, as i was sharing your listing I noticed you thanked ppl for sharing, that's sweet but remember to share back those ppl who share your so they will share more of your listing to their followers. I have some ppl would send and thank you for sharing to all the listing in their closet that I shared...trust me it's not that nice on the receiving end. Just thought I point that out. On here the more your share other listing the more they share back and the more sales you will make. I hope that helps sweetie!

Thank you very VERY much! I joined Poshmark a long time ago but didn't do anything at all with it until now. There's a lot to learn, some is pretty intuitive and some... not so much. One question I have that would make life easier (and more helpful to those kind enough to follow me and share my closet) is, how can I share many items or even a whole closet at once? Is this possible or is it done one item at a time?
