This incredible piece is a vintage 1910-1920 treasure of the softest embroidered netting. It's in fabulous condition - gorgeously yellowed, but it would likely lighten up with a proper cleaning. I'm happy to do that, if you like... but it's really delicious this color, so I hate to touch it. There are a few minor spots in the back, hidden by the folds of the dropped waistband. In excellent wearable condition, astonishing for the delicacy and age. No holes or weak spots, perfect embroidery, Yum!

amyballam @onceuponathyme this is gorgeous! Unfortunately, being a busy mom/fitness instructor/esthetician I have less then a few opportunities to "dress up". In a past life, I think I must've spent my days frequenting swanky jazz bars & attending great gatsby inspired parties....bc that's how I wish I could dress 😉

I had to get a quick shot of it and had a model for about 10 minutes, so I'm working on getting better photos with a better slip. I need you to come make me get off the couch and get me back in fighting shape! :-)

onceuponathyme @rawrcatmeow Jenah, this dress is out of the house at a photoshoot with @lululady at the moment. I'll measure and tag you when it returns "home." Meanwhile, the model is 5'8" . . . with very big boots on . . . and it's ankle length on her, with the back being slightly longer than the front.

onceuponathyme @styledbykblake Right? Isn't it amazing? And SO much better in person. I threw it up in about 10 minutes when @lululady was looking for something for her shoot. I've been kicking myself over the white slip every day since then. But I'll have it back in the stable soon and will give it another shot . . . :-) I wish I could wish my hips a few inches smaller so I could wear it!

onceuponathyme @cpalmi01 Thanks, Carrie. Some of them have a few issues ... I spent about 10 years restoring Victorian pieces . . . and still have a rack full that need hand-repairs. I'll be listing some of them here, no doubt, as they're too wonderful to let sit. I just don't know if I'll be listing them BEFORE or AFTER I get the repairs done. I'm so busy - but I wish I could pass on my knowledge of "how to" to the next generation of vintage lovers!

onceuponathyme @hotpantsrhoads this one is more $$$ but boy is it incredible. And XS. You might want a shawl or "Sleeves" - perhaps netting or lace? to cover your arms... or perhaps an under dress with sleeves would do the trick. I hate the white slip under this - I had about 10 minutes to get these photos with this model before she had to catch a plane... it's SO much nicer with a creamy slip. I'll get more photos up at some point.

lifeinstiches Thank you I did find a dress I hope on here & the girl lives close to me I am going wens. To see if it will fit. Plus I will only wear once for the wedding so my budget is no more than $70 & it is casual dress my sister is getting married in flip flops smh 😱 I like this but I am actually smaller then the measurements above😬 32" bust 25-25 waist 32 hips no butt lol I wasn't always this tiny, small yes but after gallbladder surgery I lost almost 30lbs & only gained back 5 of it in a year? I tried everything to gain it back nothing works 😬😢

I've gained 40, and I can't LOSE it! :-D I'm glad you found something perfect for you ... but I hope you'll find somewhere else to wear it! As for fit - this would likely be a good fit and style for you; the posted measurements are actually the DRESS measurements ... not the body measurements. This 20's style is supposed to hang. The model is 5'7" and a size 0. :-) So - Post pictures in your listing so we can see what you found! Woot! Woot!

lifeinstiches @onceuponathyme Ty I will post pics👍 & I would count my blessings but the weight lose is not normal. I was 115lbs before gallbladder that is my norm doctors are still trying to find cause because I lost muscle as well. I have 0 body fat & 0 muscles strength? It all started with stupid gallbladder & trust me I eat I just polished off a pint if Ben & Jerry's I eat one every night before bed lol I eat so much I should pop? Doctors are at a loss I have to get tons of blood work but a little at a time so they don't drain it all running test smh I went from a 5 to a 00 at one point the 00 was to big smh in mean time I don't dwell on it I just stuff my face & hunt for clothes to fit. Oh & I will be back sometime to get my wedding dress 👍
