tufflove Grr sorry just saw what spellcheck did! That's awesome! They are really the best bags EVERRRR! Soo durable. I have a duffle back that I use daily for my daughter's things and it's still in perfect shape after a year of diaper duty lolll never getting rid of that one! I loveeeee Poshmark! Are you still over there? I'm contemplating closing mine since this venue has really kept me intrigued and a float. I feel it's much more professional and clean.

sassysuzzy It is our Dear Heavenly Father Sis. We moved 6 doors down in Aug so that my Mom could live with us. Being a full time caregiver between two homes was killing me. Still trying to sell her things & unpack a lifetime of things. I fell down our Stairs (I still run like 16), & broke my back in early Nov. i was in excruciating pain & went to an Orthopedist who was already treating my bulging disc. Had been using a walker for 5 weeks & getting epidural injections. Talk about feeling old! He barely looked at me & said all you need is some prednisone. I said, " I need an X-ray. I've never hurt like this. He said, "No, you have just stirred things up!" Very condescending. He started lecturing me about keeping my paperwork & bringing it in & i told him i think i left in in my glove dept. he said, Great walk out there & get it. I told him it was all I could do to drive myself there & that walking caused me excruciating pain. He said it will be fine! When I returned his nurse said he had gone to lunch & would be back in a hour. When he returned he said, "Ok, I will write you a RX for prednisone". I told him again how much pain I was in. He said, your going to be fine, in his patronizing tone. I finally blew up. I said, "I don't know who u think you are. Just because you went to school 2 yrs longer then me does not make either of us special. You are a condescending Ass & I will not be back. ETC! His nurse gave me the thumbs up as she was behind him. I had tickets for months to Oprah's conference in Seattle that week & nothing was going to stop me from completing one of my Bucket List dreams. I went to her 2 day conference & it was beyond Awesome! Got my pic w Gayle. Talk about a sweetheart. I showed her my brochure on my speaking & my work with Women. She asked for a copy & said Oprah would want to see this. I'm hoping! Oprah was fantastic! TD Jakes was supposed to be there but couldn't make it but 4 other awesome speakers were. I sat with my back on ice the whole time. I was in such pain. Then my hubby & I planned to fly to Scottsdale, AZ & have a nice week playing in the Sun. I flew right out of Seattle & never even knew when we lifted off or landed. Scottsdale was a nightmare. I almost checked myself into the Hospital I hurt so bad. I made an appt to see another Ortho as soon as we returned a week later. All I did was lay on ice & my Sweet Husband cared for me. When I went in to the new Ortho. He looked at my XRays & said, "My God Woman you have broken your back!" He immediately put me in a full brace & I could not lift anything. Had to wear it 24/7. I told him I have to take care of my Mom & he said If u don't care for u then you will need care the rest of your life. I just did the best I could & tried not to lift her. My kids & their Girlfriends & wife helped but within 3 weeks I was doing as much as I could. Then Mom fell 3 days before Christmas & broke her hip in two places. They gave us a 1/3 of a chance that she would survive surgery. But she did! She was in the hospital 10 days & then transferred to Mother Joseph's. I never left her side except when my Husband or kids stayed overnight. I moved my blow up bed in & the nurses said they had never seen a Family do that for an elderly person. How sad is that! She was there 6 wks. Then she finally came home & I've been the constant Caregiver. I know you know how exhausted I am! The way that you cared for your Daddy is the way I care for my Mom. I've had people tell me I can't do it & I should put her in a home. What kind of people do this! This is my Mother our Matriarch. I finally called my Bro & said, " You have to come. I have to take a break. He came for a week & I went to Monterey, CA to rest for 5 days. Talk about a cool bike ride. That would be it! Anyway, today is Mom's 90th Birthday. Gave her a big family dinner with all her favorite foods. Chicken Cordon Bleu, Fried Okra, Asparagus, squash, Stuffed Baked Potatoes, Homemade Rolls, Green salad w hazelnuts & blu cheese & fresh Blackberry Pie. I thank God for you Sis. The reason He has had me on your heart is to pray for me. You have been here & you know how exhausting it can be. Plus there's always some Family drama going on. Thank you for listening to that still small voice. That's why I've been on your heart like white on rice. I would love love love it if you & your husband could come out this year to see us. Did u go to SF for Posh Party? I'd love to do a little Gathering with you & about 8-10 other Poshers at my place. If I get my head above water I will let you know. Love u Sis😘

btufly @sassysuzzy oh my you have been thru the wringer. YOU ARE STILL STANDING. Caregiving is a 24 hr job. If you are not actually doing for them they are constantly on your mind what more can I do to make them comfortable. Today is m fathers birthday and my sister and I celebrate him. It's been 3 years but my heart aches so bad. It's not a day that goes by his name is not mentioned. "My daddy said this". Geez I loved that man. So smart when it came to life. So honest and never disappointed me a day in my life. Even when he tore my butt up as a little girl. 😢

sassysuzzy Great job on your Boutique! Looks gorgeous. Hope we can meet this yr. Any news of when, where the next Posh Convention will be. My days are full caring for my Mom but I try to pay for respite care two days a month. Going to Palm Springs last week in April. Hawaii in June. Trust me I need it. Sure wish my siblings lived closer.
