@julia_rose Hi dear! It's nice to connect with your local Poshers and swap knowledge and stories and make friends IRL. Of course, Poshfest is the mother of all events and it does get a bit spendy for us who are out of towners. Personally, I think it's worth it. I attended last year in Vegas and I am excited to go to SF this year and finally see PMHQ. I never seem to have time before whenever I was in the Bay Area. You get to understand the app even more, connect with the great PMHQ founders and staff & most importantly your posh sisters. We had over 200 people last year, I'm sure this year will be bigger. I hope you do make it. They've announced the venue and preferred hotel but there are a lot of hotels in the Union Square area depending on your preference & budget. ๐

@modamode Hi Jessica! Yes, shares to a party only shows up once. So, even if the same item/s has been shared multiple times it doesn't show up on the main party feed anymore. It's also better to let the closet owner decide when she wants to join the party. That's why if you want to share other closets during a party, you just share them to your followers.

@yugiohmom Hi Katy! I know, there are some rogue people who don't want to follow the rules. If you want a long, successful Poshmark life it is best to abide by posh rules. As for sharing back from non-compliant closets, it's up to you. I share the compliant items & report the prohibited ones. Don't confront the closet owner because of all the drama that might ensue. Hi There, When you get the chance can you answer for me a question about the perscriptions? I listed two pairs of my designer glasses that have my old lens persceiptions. Another prescription thing being sold here is contact lenses, including colored lenses. The FDA website has several articles about the risks of buying contacts without an eye exam and prescription. @krystalszerszen Hi Krystal! Poshmark (at the moment) is a women's fashion & accessories selling app. Men's items cannot be listed as such. But, if they are unisex or have been altered/repurposed to fit women they can be listed. Manish announced early this year that men's & children's items can be listed next year but we have to wait for the formal launch. Until then, listings of this type are still not allowed. A lot of us didn't know the full guidelines in the beginning & monkey see, monkey do. Not knowing what we're doing is not allowed. Posh understands that & as long as you mend your ways & not stray, you're good. We pass on the tips so newbies are spared the hassle. Some closets have continued to break the rules & have been shut down.

Liquids/creams are not allowed unless they are sealed & NWT make up. I'm stumped w/ the tweezers so I wrote PM support. Manicure kits are not allowed so this might not be allowed too. @lizavw Hi Liza. We all have good intentions but should let the closet owner decide when to join the party. Poshers have different party sharing styles. Some share their stuff at the beginning, middle or towards the end. Items once shared to a party will only be seen once. They won't be bumped up anymore even if shared again unless they get shared by party hosts as host picks.

@jettfx Hi Jett! Posh gives you 3 days to accept/reject a purchase. You have this time to file a case if your item is not as described it has issues. After you accept or after it's automatically accepted by the system on the 4th day, posh releases the funds to the seller & technically they can't help you anymore. I'm sorry this happened but have you tried to write PM support to look it up? You have to include pictures as proof of whatever defects the item has. What did you purchase by the way?

The problem is that I accepted it as soon as I got it thinking that the product was good. I only took one shoe out of the box. I posted a photo on my closet it is the Oxford shoes that are listed not for sale.

I once bought a pair from abroad & didn't realize they were mismatched but can't return anymore so they just sat in my closet. Bummer.

I personally let the closet owner share her own theme appropriate items during party periods as each posher has her own sharing style. Happy poshing!

@marcie0707 Posh love is always appreciated. But,shares only appear once on the ongoing main party feed.Even if anyone else share the same items again, they don't get bumped up anymore so it's practically wasted effort. Posh did this a way back probably to have a variety of items instead of the same ones getting constantly bumped up the feed. During parties,I share non party items to my followers so I won't stress the closet owner esp when she hasn't joined the party yet. Have a great day dear!

Taking care of Pat ( my sister with liver cancer and her daughter with cerebral palsy) Rachel usually keep me on my toes and I'm to tired to read the official forum for updates.

@ex_globetrotter I'm sorry I missed most of the party tonight. I got news that my sister is suffering ascities and that her liver is most likely starting to shut down. I just was not in a party mood after that. Perfect ending to a already crappie day. I fight so hard to keep her healthy and it doesn't seem like it's enough anymore. ๐ข๐ข

@ex_globetrotter I am still wide awake. Which is normal for me a suffer from panic attacks and insomnia is very common with them. Thank you for everything u did for me today. I value friends that aren't afraid to say hey your doing this wrong. I feel bad for not knowing and sharing parties wrong. I'd never want to do that to my posh friends. Thanks for listening about Pat. She is my world and the bond that sisters have is irreplaceable. Rachel is the one my heart breaks for. Her mom is her life.

@ex_globetrotter Pat has been a rock to so many in our family and seeing her having to allow me to be her rock is hard to watch. I do it proudly because if things were reversed she be doing the same thing for me. She's the best lady I know and I try to become the role model that I have seen her be for many years. I am learning to be more compassionate and understanding watching her be that way even when she is in misery and I can't make it stop hurting she just smiles thru it all.

@hollylightly Hi, items once shared doesn't refresh & move up anymore even if it was shared again. Each posher has her own party sharing style. Some share at the beginning, the middle or towards the end. I share items that are not the party theme so the posher knows that I'm not sharing her stuff before she does. I'll do it only when asked by PFFs hosting the parties (otherwise, all of their shares become HPs). Happy Easter!

Despite sharing my own stuff, they never showed up again in the party feed.

@courtships Hi Courtney! Each posher has her own party sharing style. Some share at the beginning, middle or towards the end. Once an item has been shared to a party, it will never move from the spot where it was despite being shared again. Subsequent shares of the same item will never show up again at the same party.

@courtships The only time it will move is if it becomes a host pick. During the day parties the items that can be shared are limited to specific brands/categories. There have been cases that everything that the closet owner can share has already been shared by someone else at the beginning, then she lost the opportunity to share her own listings when she wants to. This has been discussed many times in different groups & even Manish explained it too.

@courtships If I share during parties, I share other items to let the closet owner know that I'm not cramping her party style. I've heard of people getting blocked because despite the closet owner asking them not to share their theme appropriate items during day parties, they kept on doing it time & time again. We don't really want that to happen & keep posh love going.

@courtships When I host a party, sometimes I ask a PFF to share for me if she can because all my shares at that time will be host picks & we're only limited to 100 per host. You don't have to ask permission from the closet owner, as my bullet point mentioned, unless the closet owner asks someone/has a listing for PFFs to share for her (i.e. When hosting or expected to be away from her closet during the party).

Just out of curiosity, why would someone not want a listing to be shared to a Posh Party? I usually do not share listings to parties but my reasoning is because it seemed to make more sense to send it to a wider range feed. Would someone get offended if I shared it to a party? Is it because they would most likely prefer to the wider feed?

@catzlady Hi Candi! The reason behind this is an item only appears once to a posh party. Even if anyone else shares the item after, it won't move up to the party feed anymore. Each posher has a preferred time when she wants to join the party. Some share early, mid or towards the end. Hello! Thank you so much for sharing my closet โค although currently on hiatus, I share as able and am hoping to be open one weekend in March. I love to learn and be able to mentor others and would like to understand "do not share to ongoing Posh parties unless asked by the owner" - Please would you clarify for me and also allow me to help others I may be mentoring. I typically share others closets as able, especially if their items match the party theme. Is this a no-no?

I love meeting hat ladies here too. ๐ Anyway, about party sharing, Shares are very much appreciated but items only appear on the main feed once and never gets bumped up anymore despite being shared again. It's a matter of respecting individual closet owners' preferences when they want to share their own items to the party. Some share early, mid or latest its best to let the closet owner choose when to share.

@saskicarrerabsq Personally, I never share closets/items to parties unless asked by PFFs who are hosting. At that time, all they share will end up in the HP showroom which will go over their 10 item 'limit' of HPs from their own closets. Not a lot of poshers know this. I will find a way to post this info in my closet and acknowledge your help. I have had the unpleasant experience of being blocked with no explanation, I wonder if this was why. @hodaya Hi! I've seen you invite poshers into your closet through your own listings and that is fine. You can also make your meet the posher listing your tag/invite listing. Some poshers automatically block people who come into their closet promoting closets, listings or spam comments. You don't want that right? I hope this is helpful. ๐
