lasamplecloset @thesloaneranger Funny.....I just found the large & forgot I had it. If I had to guess what a large from Pink Polka Dot would equate to I could honestly say a size 8 or so. This designers followers "customers" want sexy stuff from her so there is always an element that matches her "the designers" personal style. In the photo i'm wearing a small and in sizes i'm a 2 or 4 depending on the brand. Where do you live? If you received the dress & it didn't fit I would trade it out for you' for something else. Just send it back to me &'we could find you another item.

The extra bonus is that this is being held in a mansion of a woman who passed away and no one was ever "allowed" in there. lasamplecloset @matchbox99 Hi Erika, I was joking with the "rubbing it in comment". I hear you about not liking to be cold. Personally I would never wear a little dress like this either to just look good. Forget that as I'd be miserable all night. But if you want to look sexy but also be warm, why don't you look for a cape? I've seen people post them on PM in the past and have also seen them on e-bay as I recently purchased a black wool mid calf length one in July of this year. I've been a stylist for years & just a tad of advice would be for you to get one for the party & afterwards. Capes are one of the biggest trends shown on the fall runways to hit this season and forward. Then you could look demure in the cold and be a sexy vixen in doors! Just an idea. Either way you must have a fab time because your new friend in L.A. Will be vicariously celebrating with you in spirit on that fun night :-).

I would love to see what it would look like with this. I was planning on wearing my black or off white long coat to the event & checking it of course. However if the cape could work to keep me warm & stylish without looking like I'm ready for a snow storm (haha) that would be perfect! lasamplecloset @matchbox99 Unfortunately I don't have my cape available to photograph at this time since it's being used in one of my work projects. But, go onto PM or e-bay and do a search and you should be able to find images. You don't have to go mid-calf length, I just located one at an amazing price, bid on it and won the bid so for me I knew I could always shorten it if need be. But just an FYI........the masses don't follow runway & fashion week trends for a living so you WILL be able to find a cape out there if you take the time to look for one. Most will be vintage which is great because of the quality factor. So please keep me in the know.........I share your excitement & would love to see a picture of you all dolled up soon......:-) Kim

I decided last night (and due to limited time) to go with a longer dress with more coverage, because I didn't feel like I would have enough time to track down a good cape / one that would match. lasamplecloset @matchbox99 Hi Pretty! I read the PM guidelines and the suggestions were to model the merchandise. But to be honest.....it's a pain in the butt and with many of my listings, they vary in size. My recommendation is to have great light and merchandise the listings in a very clean easy to understand format. I personally don't have time for putting outfits together as I'm too busy but lastly the best outcome for me making sales is to try to send listings out to at least 1 party a day & try to share others listings each day even if it's just a few. Sharing and supporting others brings people to you that may not have found you any other way. Hope that helps :-)........... XO Kim

I was born there & lived there until I was 7 & then 1/2 of my family moved to Cali & the other 1/2 is still in Michigan in West Bloomfield. I went back to MI 8 years ago to my old neighborhood & was brokenhearted. Hopefully re-gentrification is in full,swing as planned as I have such treasured memories as a kid. The only issue is that 2 of the items don't have the Heatherette labels attached. Many times when a Designer creates a sample line, they don't always do the finishing work as they do with production cuts.

lasamplecloset @cheriecurrie Then I went on-line & looked under Heatherette images & know the collections that they were a part of but couldn't find a picture. When I bought the items I didn't plan to sell them so owning a OOAK sample was fine by me. Also with Richie he considered OOAK items more valuable over time anyway. Then I have to see if I still have a piece of jewelry that my friend Tarina Tarantino did for one of his runway shows.

Like I'll wear a Wildfx jumper with skinnies and doc boots with spikes one day, or a punky shirt with leggings the next, the split skinnies by Royal Bones i love. I kinda wear either pastel girlie or punk, or primary colors. Its hard to explain lol.

cheriecurrie I have the Heatherette Pea Coats in both the blue n the pink. R u familiar with them?? They have the oversided hoods entirely lined with silky fur. I also have their black leather jacket that's says A Little Bit of Heaven on the back with a pastel rainbow. I have the puffer coats in black and also baby blue with the suede hearts all around and says Heatherette across the backs, fur lined hoods. Umm...i have the Tour Crew bomber jacket with Heatherette across the back with music notes across..

I have hoodies and shirts...I have some on IG but i gotta add more. The pea coats were $450, but i got them both new for $60 n $75! The leather jacket was $598, but i got it new for $75! Was a girl on ebay. She had the blue pea coat new, and i was gonna get it just to have a 2nd one lol cuz i love them, but i missed her relisting and it sold for $25!!

lasamplecloset @only1mitzyrose I have one already. This is an extra........you have good taste. BTW your closet & all the GUCCI makes me crazy!!! But I can't spend $$$ until I move the majority of my listings myself. I only have maybe a 20% listed of what I have since I closed my studio/showroom.
