mcjayne @gordomom how cool! I would make an a$$ of myself if I met her! 😂I somehow missed your sweet comment on my post in my closet, I'm so sorry! You are another cancer survivor?!! We are co warriors together, beautiful lady. I ADORE your closet, I stalk it regularly. It feels like a beautiful boutique! My remission is still early days, I get afraid easily still. I'm sure you relate, a cough makes me worry. I know, it's silly, but after you have been through hell & back, you don't take chances!

mcjayne @gordomom Michelle, of you don't mind me asking, what type of Cancer did you kick to the curb? I started with thyroid while pregnant, I could NOT abort, and as a result, my lymph nodes were affected, so lymphoma, then multiple myeloma, (which is considered incurable, but treatable). Medical marijuana has been a godsend for me, I truly feel it helped me fight this! 😘❤

gordomom @mcjayne I'm so glad to hear you're in remission and hope that it stays that way! I had breast cancer. Out of 4 sisters, 3 of us have been diagnosed. Two of us also have the BRCA 2 gene. We all seem to be fine now, but I'm with you - every twinge or uneasy feeling makes me worry that something is wrong. I'm also fighting Hashimoto's and have so much trouble with weight gain.

gordomom @mcjayne part 2 😊 It's so nice to "meet" you again and I hope that we can be here to help support each other. The Posh community is simply amazing! I haven't been able to spend as much time poshing lately because work has been very busy. However, I do try to check in a few times a day at least. 😊 I'm addicted...💝

mcjayne @gordomom My Mum just got diagnosed with hashimotos, it's a horrible illness that leaves you feeling lethargic & worn down so quickly. My thyroid is gone now, it's a blessing. I have been every size possible. I would practically starve myself and gain weight overnight, I feel your frustration. Look into The AIP paleo diet, if you haven't already. It's helping my mum a LOT, she's been more balanced with her antibodies too. I literally fluctuate constantly! It's SO annoying!

gordomom @mcjayne agreed! I find it difficult to get out of bed and to stay awake at work! It's sad because I enjoy my work and don't want to give the impression that I don't. I've been experimenting with paleo, but also have many restrictions based on some sensitivity tests that my ND has done, so it can be frustrating. 😢

mcjayne @gordomom I'm so glad that we were able to "meet" my friend, I am sorry you have to struggle with this, it's frustrating beyond belief. I look forward to stalking your closet more, & I hope that things will I'll start to balance out for you, with your health. I own a few different sizes in my own closet, it's annoying! I never had to watch what I ate before, so this has been quite the lesson in humility for me! I wish you lots of healthy days ahead, you WILL get control over this. 🌹

gordomom @siouxanwould Hi Susan - no worries! The nice thing about Posh is that we can do as much or as little as our other commitments allow. The gals up in the Seattle area are so fun! I have missed going up there, but plan to visit my sisters sometime this summer before bringing my son back to UW this fall. Going to run out of characters so I’ll split this up 😊

gordomom @siouxanwould I think what you’re doing so far is great. Your closet looks wonderful! By engaging with other Poshers, we get to know each other better. It’s such a large community, so it’s easy to get lost. I encourage you to share your items and also browse for others who share the same style preferences as you. For instance, one of my friends and I tag each other when we find things that the other might like or when there’s a closet that might match the others’ styles.

gordomom @siouxanwould if you share for other closets, they’ll often share back, giving you more exposure. It’s a fun way to engage, but it does take time. Balance between sharing your closet and others. Definitely the more sharing (your and others) will increase the traffic in your closet.
