tamarismom Please, please use the correct priority mailing boxes. For almost one year I have been using the priority flat rate boxes. I had never even noticed that there was a difference in these boxes until today. I have always had the label attached when I went to the post office therefore I'd just handed the box to the teller and it's never been an issue until today when I ask for my box to be weighed so I could pay the difference if it was over 5 lbs. I was running late for work and had to stand there and be educated about the difference in these boxes and how she wouldn't be able to figure out the difference in cost because she didn't know how much postage had already been paid and so forth and so on. What a headache! I ended up repackaging my items in the correct box replacing the label and mailing from another post office.

tamarismom I spend quite some time wrapping with tissue paper and/or gift wrapping paper, ribbons and/or stickers. I always add a note or card. Some times I give a small gift.

If you have or have had this same experience, you can order the boxes online @ vsusps.com and they will be delivered right to your PO Box. Thanks for the tip on packaging. This is great!

jessd13 I've found that it's easier to order the boxes online. They get to you in about a week, sometimes sooner. You can order packs of 10 or 20 at a time and have them ready to use. 😊

I never received the hp email I just randomly started getting the "congrats" comments and saw it in the party. Do you know why I didn't receive the email ?

katz2 @modafrancesca Francesca, you are most welcome💕 It is daunting the first time, searching for that perfect item. I also created a spreadsheet with the closet name and item I liked. Just to be sure I selected them all. In some cases the Hosts said some of their items disappeared from their likes. Also some items could sell before the party, so have extras. I also removed all my likes prior to my selecting for the party, just so I wouldn't get confused. Have fun! I know I did searching through closets. 😊💕💕

lakeforest Landry, katz2 tagged me on these great tips as I'm CoHosting on Halloween nite, lol! When I was a real newbie, I'd often go to her page for all of her great tips and when I started to write the above⤴️comment, my foggy brain thought I was on her page😱but it's a good thing I saw your tips here too. We haven't gotten our theme yet. Does Posh wait until the last minute to let us know? I've been saving a bunch of selections in my "Likes" page in hopes that those items might fit the theme. I also know the 3 other gals CoHosting & tried to message a couple of them to do exactly what you've mentioned about co-ordinating who wants to go 1st, etc.. to pace the 2hrs.....but no replies back yet. Perhaps they're just waiting for the theme too b4 messaging back. I'm sure it'll be lots of fun & a great evening being Halloween! 👻👻🎃🎃

Maybe it's true that they are waiting for the theme. It's probably good to wait until "the email" because there can always be a person or two who is co-hosting with you, who you didn't know was until the email. Looking forward to your party! katz2 @jaymoon Jaymoon, if you look at the item in the Host Pick room, the person who shared the item is the one who gave you the Host Pick. I also kept a spreadsheet/list of my picks to be sure I didn't miss one on party day. I also picked a few extra just in case some sold before the party, which they did. Have a blast and don't forget to have someone share your closet for you.💖

katz2 @jaymoon If you follow a pattern, it won't happen. The key is on party day, try to have 2 computers, iPad or iPhone. Then write your message in the listing, share it to the party, check on the other device that it showed up in the Host Pick room, then unlike it. So one device is for you to share with, maybe your phone and the other checks the listing. It just means a lot of refreshing, but, it's worth it. You have 2 hours or 120 minutes and 100 picks, so you need to pace yourself or else you could share all in 1 hour and be finished. Relax and enjoy yourself!💕

nami001 @brooklynnfly here you go Amber & also a seasoned Posher told me not to worry about sharing back or trying to keep up with it. The people sharing don't expect you to share back. Their keeping their closet in your newsfeed. Makes sense right? I felt less guilty and a lot better when she told me that.
