I got this from an estate sale & am only its 2nd owner since it was new in the 60's (I'm not sure of the exact year, just "guesstimating" & was told it was late 60's) But, it is in AMAZING condition!!! No balding OR shedding that i can see or even feel anywhere! Id be more than happy to send you more pics to your email acct. If you would like, just let me know! From the info I've gathered from the previous owners children & online, I've got it priced pretty accurately. But like i said, I'm happy to negotiate! Just LMK! Thanks, hon!!

whitneydale44 @minneorno The last (only!! Lol!) message was for you! I was re-organizing my closet & just noticed that i hadn't tagged you in it!! So sorry! Please just LMK if you have any more questions & I am more than happy to send you pics from all angles of this amazing coat!! The only thing that I've noticed is it has a very, VERY light scent. It is obviously due to its age. It isn't really all that noticeable unless you literally bury your nose in it! (Which, I'll admit, I've done!! It is just SO SOFT!! I couldn't help myself!!) But the scent isn't really even bad!! Just a light "aged" scent. Given how old it is, its pretty obvious there would be one. I imagine a good dry cleaning might take care of it! I've never taken it to the dry cleaner, just because I've been really protective of it! It is SO amazing! I would keep it, if i had any place to wear it! Anyhow, please, get in touch with me anytime! aims2kids @whitneydale44 You are so very welcome! And you are such a sweetheart! Yes i could not believe that lady said the things she said! She claimed the glasses wete brand new and that i must have bent them being too aggressive unwrapping them out of tissue paper. I took so many pictures showing scratches on the lenses, scuff marks on the rims and the only way they could have been bent that way was with some muscle. I was kind enough to try to come up with a creative solution as to what happened for example when she shipped them to me she put the glasses dead center in the box with 2 large bottles of heavy perfume stacked on each side of the glasses. She wrapped a layer of bubble wrap around the perfume bottles and as i said put one on each side then she stuck the glasses in a baggie before being wrapped with a piece of tissue paper and then set in the middle of the perfume bottles. So even though there was bubble wrap, there was nothing protecting the actual glasses from getting rolled on or crunched against. I know how rough postmen can be. They just throw things around, unless the box specifically says "delicates"! Anyway Posh wasn't going to hive me my full refund till i argued my points and showed them my pictures. Then they said they will give me a 1x exception where they will refund my money. But because i was brand new and didn't know i couldn't buy perfume they used that against me. Im just glad its over! Ive learned if your gonna buy glasses from Posh then be oh so very careful and picky! I don't think i will be buying them from here anymore! Ive had 2 too many bad glasses experiences! Thankfully the other girls were honest about it and had no problem returning my money! That's why from then on i started taking pics the moment i open any package and as im going through it. Then i always post them. Bad or good! I think your awesome! Im so glad you commented! Ive met a couple really neat ladies too! I love it!

whitneydale44 @tinasstopnshop Not a weird question at all, honey!! I got it @ Hobby Lobby. Its more or less intended to be used decoratively, but its sturdy enough to photograph your clothes on it! They are all the same size. About a size 2 or so. Definitely a Small, which is great for me! It was about $40, but i think its totally worth it! I still have another 25 things or so to take pics of & post, but haven't had the time! I also need to retake pics of my first few postings. Everything looks better on the body form!! At my local Hobby Lobby, they had the one like i bought & one with a white & deep blue chevron pattern. Maybe the one near you will have even more options! So, good luck. chenchita I have found myself in the same predicament living way out in the suburbs lucky for me I was surrounded by many vinty lovers,shops and beautiful homes located in town so I didn't feel awkward but I usually wear what I want and don't give a damn what anyone thinks as long as I'm comfortable 😊😊I have also known the horse, hay, hunting , gun toting all camo , boot and hat wearing folks ...my friend lives in a place I like to call bum F--- Egypt they're like peas & carrots ... Lol

whitneydale44 Ha, ha, ha!!! That's awesome!!! Yeah, i was raised in Houston till i was about 11, then moved to a 100 acre ranch that my grandfather left to my mom. That's where i live now. I NEVER thought id live here, now. But, some things in my life led me back here. I got in a bad wreck in my 1st year in college & had a burst fracture to one of my vertebrae. It had to be fully removed & it was replaced with one of my ribs (crushed & molded into the shape of a vert), a bunch of screws put in to hold it, then about 4 years later, they found out that it was completely unstable & had to put to massive rods on each side of my spine. Its crazy how much metal I've got in there!! I always set off the metal detectors at the court house & airport!!! Lol! I literally have to strip to get them to believe I'm not packing!! Lol! Anyway, i continued & got 2 years of college & 3 years @ The Art Institute of Houston. I got pretty close to getting my BA in Interior Design!! But my back just got SO bad, i had to move back in with my parents. 😕 As much as i love my parents (& adore my mom!! She's my absolute Bestie, now!! 😋), i was so upset i was 24 years old & having my parents taking care if me!! I couldn't work, so i got approved for disability. Then, i met my future husband (@ church, of all places!!! Lol!!) & have found myself here. Even my husband can get "country-fied" when he gets around some of his extra country friends & aquantinses. But, most of the time, he seems like any other guy you would meet in the city!! We have a 6 year old daughter, Cara (she's actually my step daughter, but i consider her mine! I haven't been able to have kiddos cause of my back & we think, all of the X-rays I've had over the years. My Dr. thinks i may be sterile now. 😳) So, that puts me here, & i sell on Posh on the side, to make a little extra $$. I actually have sold quite a lot, but have definitely bought more!! Lol!! I just wish i could dress up & dress exactly how i want without being criticized around where i live!! I don't care what people think, to a degree. But, when i stick out like a sore thumb, i do tend to feel uncomfortable! Ah, well. That's life, right? I'm 32 now. My years of dressing up were pretty much over after i had my ultimate dress up, my wedding!! I just loved my wedding dress!! Tons of lace! I do wish i had found one with very short capped sleeves made from only lace, but it was even slim pickins in Houston!! But i do love my dress! Maybe, one day, my daughter will want to wear it!! To me, it seems timeless since its mainly lots of lace!! Well, I'm really sorry my message got SO long!! I am really good at talking!! Lol!! I will keep my likes from your closet at the top of my Likes!!! They are great!

I'm a true believer that god has a hand in everything that happens , you have remained strong and forged ahead and I'm sure the love of your mother, family & friends have kept you in a good place . I hope you never loose sight of the important things to be thankful for and mom especially ❤did it without a second thought and all the love in her heart poured unto you I'm sure you no longer feel like a burden on anyone which was a silly passing thought anyway😊many would love a peaceful quiet place like the one you have with its open airy space that spans for miles although ranch life is work there are many rewards to be had. We cannot trade lives with one another but we look around our surroundings and find life worth living right where we're planted . This fine man walks into your life under gods roof no less ❤forget about those other places so many meet in and in the most awkward circumstances .. Really good men are met in just the atmosphere you met yours and that you're short comings if you think there are any were welcomed with nothing but love .. Then once again he works his magic by placing this beautiful child in your path knowing that perhaps you were in need of each other ... The seed you plant with constant love and nurture without being selfless is the thing only a mother can do birthing has nothing to do with it 💞💞😘and so I tell you my pretty friend who's still young and vibrant everyday you wake thank The Lord for another day breath in & out put on something pretty to start your day even if its to hang out & when you get into town which is a good ride from home bring your understated elegance thru those doors and let them look at the elegant down to earth lady before them ..... I really am lucky to have an awesome husband & daughter (you can see my cutie in the pics I've posted under my "Meet Your Seller" post. She's gotten a little bigger since I've posted, but she still looks just like her daddy!! Check them out! My hubby is in the pics, too! Since i think he is handsome, of course, i think she is SO beautiful!! But, i AM biased!!) Please, check them/us out!! I'm so proud of my little family!! I bought it at an estate sale a few years back. The lady who sold it to me said her mom had been the only owner ever!! So, it has no balding, thinning OR fading! I've actually only ever worn it once or twice, to black tie events! (Which are extremely rare where i live! Boo!! 😕)
