I would have to say that I do tend to lean more towards 70's clothing and boots and 50's/60's shoes. I definitely love a great vintage dress or coat from any era!💞💞💞

I mainly buy it to sell now, as a size 12 I don't see much that fits. I'm still trying to wade through a huge consignment I received four weeks ago, I have over 30 first cousins who are girls, who have grown daughters and all of them send their clothes to me to be sold! Plus I still go to my hometown of St. Louis and visit dealer friends and buy from them, some stuff you just can't leave behind. Your closet is wonderful, the things marked with you as the designer, are these your handiwork? I love that one shoulder bandeau top, so creative!

List "vintage" in the heading~ if someone searches for vintage, your item should pop up in search 2. List "vintage" for the brand~depending on whether you prefer to highlight that it is vintage or the brand 3. Definitely list it in the description Last, but not least, Share! Share! Share! items from other Poshers' closets. They will most likely do the same. Share your items to Posh Parties, as well. Feel free to take a look thru my closet to get ideas. All of the ladies who have posted here have amazing vintage closets! I can't speak for them, but I'm sure they won't mind you taking a look thru their closets and sharing their items.😆 I hope that was helpful! Please lmk if you have anymore questions. azthreadz @mahoganycharm I'm pretty sure we've discussed vintage love before but my issue is that I love vintage & newer things. So my closet is such an eclectic mix. I have essentially inherited about 1000 vintage pieces but are in storage in another state right now. A good chunk doesn't fit me so when I go to get the rest of my items I hopefully will start listing them. 😄

Lol It can depend on a number of things. Our group really has not put a clear definition to what vintage means. Thanks for opening that door up. I am setting up a closet for my parents as part of their holiday present because they have a lot of vintage items and will be moving just a few vintage items that I listed for them in my closet into their own. mahoganycharm ~Tip for finding labels on vintage garments~ Some vintage garments appear to be handmade and without labels. If it's lined, there very well may be a union label or other labels with significant information about the garment underneath the lining. If you don't see a label by simply raising the loose lining, there probably is not one. Be sure not to damage your vintage garment trying to locate this label! Lol You should not have to rip, cut, or tear the lining or garment to find it. I hope this information was helpful!
