Hey!! I have a question and was wondering if you could help me? I'm not new to poshmark, but when I signed up I never read the selling guidelines (stupidly) and I've sold a few books/electronic items on here without knowing that that wasn't in the rules! I educated myself and will never make that mistake again! Now I follow all of the poshmark rules and make sure not to break any. Because of this though, these sold listings are still in my closet so will I never have a chance at a host pick? Even though I follow all the rules now? I'm wondering because it will be such a drag to have to delete my whole closet and relist everything, omitting those few sold items. I'd love to hear your advice!! Thanks :)

@ownpudi awesome! For right now you can leave it at the top & then as you continue to develop your closet you can move it down. I would put on that main photo of the about me listing (but you don't have to today) that you follow all posh rules on top because others hosting a party probably won't know to look in that listing. :)

I only saw a portion of your message because it came through on my phone & I'm farther back trying to catch up today. But I did see something about a party sale. This was mine from my party. I think it's a great idea. Definitely like an individual item & bundle discount or something. People seem to bundle more during peoples parties. It's worth a shot! Can't hurt. I also did a never had a host pick listing to find new closets with 0 or 1 host pick. It's a good way to find new closets that follow posh rules :)

@ownpudi Yes you will get a number of shares but people are actually more inclined to buy when it's your party. 1. because new people are just seeing your closet (people who are not only sellers but make purchases) so if they see something they will make a purchase & 2. people are trying to essentially "buy" a host pick lol. Some people think that if they buy they'll get a pick. Don't feel inclined to at all! My closet was closed for over a month literally right before my party because I was out of down that entire time so I had 10 (maybe less) days before my party when I reopened my closet so I lost out but I didn't have a choice. lol I know better for next time

I know yours is kind of a while a way but there's a new girl on my party tag list --- youlovewe who's new and follows the rules & I just stumbled across a new closet alisa1272 that looks like she follows posh rules. Don't have host picks I don't believe so definitely closets to keep your eye on

@ownpudi just make sure the girls are still active especially devossy because it looks like she hasn't been on in a while & you definitely don't want to give it to someone who isn't active because they won't appreciate it. I do am constantly welcoming new comers to posh so I can tag you in them for now on but not all of them follow posh rules so I'll make sure the ones I tag you in do. I do know that tunyamp does follow posh rules, she's pretty new but hopefully she stays following the rules. Keep a list of your new comers to make sure to double check closet to your party because there's a good chance they didn't read the rules. <3 <3 I'm trying to get a list of ladies together for you either today or tomorrow.

Just try not to pull them off the party feed during the party because trying to choose items on there for people that follow the rules is so difficult & super time consuming since like 75%ish of the users break at least one posh rule. Why, I don't know, but most of them don't care lol. I see you've made some sales so that's good. It should pick up little more as your party gets closer.

She's a friend I met last March on another site & she could use some more sales so I'm trying to get her to move over to posh. So if you can please save a slot for her π I would really appreciate it. Meant to drop you a line earlier but I literally just got home. Everything took me so much longer to do today than expected. I got 3 of 4 so far today but none from the make up from yesterday. It happens, unfortunately and in all groups I've done, all too frequently. Which is a little disheartening because you would hope that people weren't in to for the shares to help them out from other but no return them, but you never know! Hope your saturday is going well <3
