walkinmyshoes @corpusjuris Hey now....I'll all about the Bulldogs when they are not playing the Hogs and we cheered you guys on throughout the SEC season. You guys did awesome this season and of course we are pulling for the Bulldogs when they play in Miami against Georgia Tech. Our good friends from Grenada live in a house-divided with Dana being a Bulldog and Tyler being a Rebel. The Eggbowl gets quite interesting in their household with each going to a separate part of the house to watch the game. Sorry to hear about your mom's friend and I'll be sure to say a little prayer for her. Cancer is such a pain in the butt but I've become a much stronger person from this ordeal. Next month I'll be celebrating my 4 year cancerversary which is a big milestone in the cancer world. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year and Hail State beat Georgia Tech!

walkinmyshoes The holidays were great and I'm not wanting to go back to work on Monday. Hope you have had a wonderful holiday break as well. Hey, I'm all about helping Poshers even if we all sell the same the thing or similar. There are several Poshers on here that sell the Double Pearl earrings and I have several more I need to list (as I have them in matte black, light green, pink, mauve and red) but have been too lazy to list lately. I also have a Tiffany Blue one that I ordered that I'm waiting on as well as restocking the Pearl ones. I always share closets that have the same things that I may have to sell as it's all about helping one another out and not being nasty about it just because someone sells something similar. No big deal and I would be more than happy to share your "similar style earrings" as well. By the way, I've been a bit upset with the SEC losing bowl games. I was totally shocked to see Bama lose last night as well as LSU, Ole Miss and MSU. :( @corpusjuris

As to the bowl games, I was on a flight with a bunch of people headed to the MSU game in FL while flying via ATL to see my boyfriend in NC. They overbooked leaving Jackson and had to up the bribe to $1200 AND a first class ticket to get someone to give up a seat. Hardcore fans 😊 I almost did it given law school bills but I wanted cash, not $1200 in airline tickets haha.

walkinmyshoes @gordomom Hi Michelle! My 4 year cancerversary is coming up and I have a date with my oncologist on the day I was given the diagnosis almost 4 years ago! It's been an uphill battle but I've had no evidence of disease for 2 years now and in remission so everyday I do the happy dance. So by your comment have you had breast cancer?

gordomom Yes, I was diagnosed in June 2013. 2 (out of 3) of my sisters have also been diagnosed before the age of 42. Two of us have BRCA 2. After a series of surgeries last year, I spent all of 2014 trying to recover (from that and two major deaths in my family). I've been struggling, but am working my way back to my "new normal". On a lighter note, are you in Arkansas? I grew up in MO. My mom is a tiny, but huge Mizzou fan. 😊💝

I have a strong family history of breast cancer, I have two first cousins going through chemo right now...one is only 39 years old. My background is in Radiology and Mammography so anyone with breast cancer really touches my heart. And it seems that you are hearing of more and more women who are very young being diagnosed with breast cancer. Back when I first started doing Mammography, (omg, that was 30 years ago...wow, can you imagine how many boobies I've smashed & held in my cold hands in that time??LOL!!!)...it was pretty rare for someone very young to be diagnosed with it. It's definitely very scary. I'm so glad you are in remission, I know it had to be tough. So, it's great to see so many SEC Conference fans on this board!! I am a huge WAR EAGLE fan!!! I am originally from Alabama but currently live in Georgia....just south of Atlanta and about an hour away from Auburn so we love that. So if y'all ever come to a game in Auburn, we should meet so that my family can show your family some Auburn hospitality. We met in undergrad and were both Criminal Justice & Psychology Majors. The hubby wanted to get his law degree first then apply to the FBI. I on the other hand, wanted to be a criminal profiler.

walkinmyshoes We both did a stint with the CSSU in Little Rock and interned the summer Little Rock had seen the worst crime/murder rate (this was a few years after HBO did their special "Gang Banging in Little Rock". Upon graduation, we both applied to law school the summer we got married. We both got accepted, however, we applied to different schools (not very smart for a newly married couple with ambitions of becoming crime fighters with the FBI). @mrsalliexo

walkinmyshoes We both gave up our seats at school and the following year the hubby went to law school closer to home and I went into banking. I never became that crime fightin' criminal profiler like I wanted to be but the hubs did get his JD in Law but decided not to apply to the FBI. I'm sure your husband has seen it all. My little one is a Arkansas Razorback fan and his baseball team he played on was called the Orioles. :)

Thanks so much for the thoughtful words and that picture of that little one is the reason I get up each day. It hit him the hardest when I was sick and lost my hair due to chemo. But he understands more about it now than he did when I was 1st diagnosed in 2011. @hollyriles

hollyriles I also wasn't able to have children because if it, in fact, I had to have a hysterectomy. That was SO hard for me to swallow, I can relate because if it weren't for my three four legged babies 🐾🐾🐾

hollyriles I couldn't have gotten up each day. I'm in remission and have been since my surgery in 2010 although I see an Endocrinologist every 2 months to get all of my levels checked...the tumor was on my pituitary gland and that gland basically controls the entire body, they were only able to leave me with 1/3 of that gland so I'm on medicine for everything that the gland should be doing for my body. It caused me to have Addison's Disease...very complicating but I have my good days and bad.

walkinmyshoes Wow! You have been through a lot and I hate to hear you've gone through so much. I was only able to have one child and although we wanted more it just wasn't God's plan. But I am grateful for my son and could not imagine my life without him. The last pic of he and I was taken 8 days after my 1st chemo treatment. We wanted to take pics before my hair fell out but in the pic you can see it was starting to come out. @hollyriles

walkinmyshoes On my 10th day after treatment, while at work no less, my hair started coming out by the handful. All I could do was laugh because some of those that didn't know that I had breast cancer would walk by and was shocked by how I looked. After work, my husband and I headed to the nearest Super Cuts to have it buzzed off (what was left). The poor girl started crying while cutting my hair. I felt so bad for her as she was so emotional @hollyriles

walkinmyshoes I learned a lot while undergoing all the surgeries, chemo, radiation, more surgeries, PET scans, MRI's, bloodwork - patience being one of them and just putting all my faith and trust in God & my incredible oncologist. But having a wonderful support system is definetely a must as well. My husband has been a trooper throughout the whole ordeal and only missing 1 appt. My son has gone to a few appts so my oncologist could talk with him and explain things to him in kids terms @hollyriles
