karisrenee Hi @julia_parkhurst The chain s VERY Sturdy and stable- I've had mine like this for over a year, and it has never broken, bent, or tarnished. It is not really heavy to the point of discomfort, but it is definitely a piece with weight to it. This is a sign of a good quality piece because it is not cheapy and lightweight made with cheap product! xoxo
