I purchased a used Louis Vuitton the zipper broke took to Louis Vuitton to get repaired and what do you know it's a fake it even had a date code so ladies beware don't trust date codes they sew them in the purse Thank god posh reimbursed me my money after they also verified the bag as non authentic ladies please get your bags checked within the two day period or use the posh concierge service or you could lose hundreds or thousands😁

dallize @colette123 yes Thank goodness posh had my back it's the first used Louis I buy so it was a bad situation my friend got one off of vinted turned out fake but vinted didn't refund her money because she passed the 2 day period😢I always assumed if the bag had a datecode it was real but that's just not the case these days.I purchased another at the Wynn last week so I feel better 😉just wanted you ladies to please be extremely careful 😘🌺

dallize @daralor yes it looked real had a datecode and all but I have a manhattan and the hardware was heavier and this one was light and the zipper pull easily broke off so I took it yo Louis to repair and boy was I embarrassed😰

miami_wife I used to hav a fake one that I thought was real and finally I decided to go to the store! It was a gift so I was embarrassed to tell the person that purchased it and guess what? Some ppl buy fakes and than they purchase the real one from the store and return the fake with that receipt and if the associate is careless or maybe clueless they get away with it! 😡😊good luck!

courtneyhaller Your right karma will definitely hit them hard! As for leland he's doing okay he's recovering slowly but surely 😉 we go back in 3.5 weeks to make sure that the disease still hasn't done any intestinal damage.. Which I cannot wait for! I just want this disease to go already! But all good signs as of now knock on wood and TY God! The first two weeks were most critical and we made it through them so the chances of any intestinal damage are much slimmer and less likely once again TY God and knock on wood! But overall he's doing good TY for asking my posh sister😘 don't know how Id a survived the past two months without you and a few others! It's been crazy that's for sure but I know it's only going to make my family stronger in the end! How was your trip? Hope all is well 😘 hugs!

toryshop @dallize I just wanted to tell you I had a similar experience, but it was a vintage Coach swingpack/ Coach bags can be very tricky to authenticate as the things you need to check jump around from one way to a diffenrnt way and I was try to authenticate her Coach as she wanted to sell it thur me, and she purchased it when she was a stewardess many, many years ago, and per her memory YES, ait was real, gotta tell ya, found out that bag wasn't the real deal so of course didn't sell as an authentic Coach, and it made her made, but It Wasn't real, and she got taken way back when, but I told her I wasn't going to jeopardize all my hard work because of her saying it was real, I spent hours, and ended up talking to Coach, sent pictures ect... / but on some of the older bags ther were exceptions to the usual things to check. Just sharing an experience, and I feel really bad for what happened to you and my sister, there is another item with many deceptive sellings that is on Tiffany items, you can get fooled!! @toryshop

dreamgirl68 Carol Diva to have all bags confirmed authentic. Somehow they can look at the pic and run the date code. Prior to me buying my Artsy I used them and they were 100% on target. Please ladies protect yourselves! You can locate Carol Diva through a Chrome. Of course their is a fee, it's well worth your investment.

antdeb41 @dallize I'm starting to see multiple fake Louis Vuittons here on Poshmark. I have reported them and nothing seems to be done about it!! It's sad, I see people paying over $250.00 for illegal fakes. And after I have reported the fakes they sell. It's quite sad!!

antdeb41 I would absolutely use the concierge service if I were buying anything like an LV or high end. Personally I think it is starting to ruin the whole site by allowing this to go on here. It actually states in the listings that I reported that the bags are knockoffs and the sellers are still getting 200+ dollars for them. I don't understand why anyone would knowingly buy a knockoff?? Poshmark will start to get a reputation for allowing this to go on and people will think those of us that sell quality authentic bags are selling crap too. Yes it is very illegal - I live in a relatively small area and ICE busted someone for selling fakes.

glitzylady @dallize so glad Posh refunded you. It amazes me, I've seen quite a few Sellers on Posh who will say any and every thing to make a sale!!! In their description.... " bought at high end boutique, or one of a kind exclusive boutique"!! And they describe ALL their items in this manner. OR, they post an outlandish purchase price for their item, and you know they didn't pay even close to this. But Karma always catches them!! LOL Thank you for giving a heads up.

dallize @shopjuicy Hi if you purchase a bag over $500 they should authenticate it for free it’s been a while since I purchased one off here but that’s how it worked before it would get automatically sent to them first to get checked out then posh deals with mailing it to you hope this helps😘
