farmandfancyOk Kathy! I am dying to know... When does your book come out?!

Feb 24Reply

katjo@fababscloset Hi, my books been finished for quite some time but unfortunately I could not find a publisher at a rate that would make it feasible to sell at a reasonable price. I did consider making it an ebook, but that's not really how I want it published. So for now it's on the back burner until I decide if I want to put out the expense.😏

Feb 24Reply

farmandfancyOh I see. Well, that is a bummer! But congratulations on finishing it! That is a HUGE accomplishment! I can't wait to read it and hopefully have it signed :). I wish you tons of luck with finding a publisher.

Feb 24Reply

katjo@fababscloset Thank you Abby, fingers crossed I'll find a reasonable publisher in the near future!🙏

carenlovesgucci@katjo Happy Friday my friend 😘 Just dropping by to say HI... Share.... AND... See if you have your I-Watch yet.... I am going to get my IPhone 6 plus this weekend... The pictures SOLD ME! Oh, and the stabilizer... I can't wait to list using that lovely camera ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The iPad mini is what I use but it is cumbersome 😩 Oh another ? Your lovely package had Posh logo pin( love it) I keep meaning to ask where you got the pin 😉 Would ❤️ to use in my packing

Apr 24Reply

katjo@carenlovesgucci Hi Caren! You will love the 6Plus, I really love mine!! My Apple Watch doesn't ship until June😁I'm so excited to get it. The pin I sent you on your package I got at Poshfest, they put a few in our swag bags.

Apr 24Reply

carenlovesgucci@katjo Awww..... You sent me a special pin from your swag bag? Thank you! My friend does graphic design... Perhaps he could do a custom stationary template.. For thank you notes OR PRINT for package lining.. Or TOPPER.. I always cover sale items with special paper to secure.. He would adapt as not to infringe on copyright logo (more so tweak)..

Apr 25Reply

carenlovesgucci@katjo He lives in Manhattan and wants me to "come play" soon! Known since high school.. Sweet guy and so talented ! I am going to see if he will do some mock up designs.. Perhaps even rice paper ❤️ Ohhh, getting excited.. Texting him this weekend and if a go.. Will go to his contacts ( he has cute graphic kids book published ) to see about Posh packing/cards and will send you a box

Apr 25Reply

katjo@carenlovesgucci Sounds great!! It's fun to have Posh logo items, I wish they would sell them.

Apr 25Reply

carenlovesgucci@katjo I wish they did as well... Ribbons, paper, cards 😍 I wonder if anyone has broached the idea? I will let you know what Michael comes up with! He LOVES ANY OPPORTUNITY TO BE CREATIVE 👍🏻 He is not a when I get to it type.. He will be all over it! I will post his ideas on Facebook and tag you! I don't think it would cost that much to do either.. Perhaps if we get/use it and post.. Posh might be inspired to do their own line. 😀

Apr 25Reply

carenlovesgucci@katjo Character limit... This should be fun ! Anything I get. I will send a box to you and @ccargo .. Lol A mini test market! Have a wonderful weekend!

Apr 25Reply

katjo@carenlovesgucci Awesome! Looking forward to seeing what you two come up with. I have recommended to Poshmark a few times to sell Poshmark logo tees, stickers, pins etc., but that's just not an avenue they want to pursue, maybe in the future they will change their minds. You never know!

Apr 25Reply

ccargo@carenlovesgucci 👏👏❤️

Apr 25Reply

erikagannonHi there my dear Friend! I have one last tank left of yours and I am cohosting the Nashville party next week. I was going to donate her as a door prize but wanted to give you due credit and recognize your closet. Would that be ok?

infinitelyposhYou have so many followers! Thanks for the shares! It is very much appreciated :)

May 07Reply

katjo@infinitelyposh You're welcome😊💗

May 07Reply

infinitelyposh@katjo That just awed me.. The items you shared got so many hits. I can't wait to be where you are! Don't mind me if I mosey around your closet. I would love any advise, feedback, or tips. I plan on doing this probably for as long as I live lol. I am a Mommy of 4 boys, so my extra income here goes all to them. I wish someone would have introduced me to posh when it first came out. I am absolutely in love with this app!

May 07Reply

katjo@infinitelyposh WoW, I'm the one who's in awe of you...4 boys!! When do you have time to Posh? Sleep? Lol😜 I'm always happy to help, especially new members. I remember when I started how hard it was to get my closet viewed and was always thrilled when a veteran posher shared my closet, I'm just paying it forward.💗

May 07Reply

infinitelyposh@katjo Sleep??? I know of no such thing! lol I'll sleep when I die! lol I honestly don't know how I do it.. sticking to our schedule is just normal around here. My 4th sons birthday is coming up next week and we're going to Disneyland. I try to do as much fun things with them as possible. They're great kids, but It's more like five boys, including my husband (who snores like a bear!)

May 07Reply

katjo@infinitelyposh lol!!! Taking "5" boys to Disneyland...you my dear are amaaaazing!😜

May 07Reply

brianagibsonNice to meet you! Great closet!

katjo@brianagibson Thank you😊💗

May 11Reply

kc1101@katjo How are you doing Kathy? Any results from your tests yet?

May 14Reply

katjo@kc1101 Hi Kristi, Dr just called me. Test came back negative thank God. She believes strongly it was from the Listeria attacking my colon and with my weak immunities from my Lupus it's taken longer to get out of my system. She wants me on probiotics to boost my digestive immune system. Thanks for asking💗I have been feeling better this week so hopefully it's works its way out!🙏🏼

May 14Reply

kc1101I just saw your post Kathy ! Such great news! I have some GI issues and it's NO fun! I swear by Probiotics! Don't forget too rest! 💖

May 14Reply

katjo@kc1101 GI issues bite!!! I hope yours get resolved. I've had issues with my stomach for years but never to this degree.😁

May 14Reply

kc1101My issues came from being on antibiotics for too long! I have absorption issues, anemia, and a few allergies that I have to watch out for. But I'm fine, it just forces me to be very diligent about what I eat! Take care of you!

May 14Reply

katjo@kc1101 Thank you Kristi💗😘💋

bellanbluehi sweetie. happy wednesday. I will be hosting another live Posh meet on August 15th in LA. I wanted to see if you wanted to be one of our donors for the event. Would be a great promotion, which I'm sure you don't need since your closet is FAB. But we would include your business card in all the goodie bags and also introduce your closet before the raffle. let me know if you would be interested. thanks a bunch!

Jun 25Reply

katjo@bellanblue Hi Jennifer, I would be happy to donate a Poshwear item for your party. Please remind me next week and I will set up a listing for you.💗My sister is here visiting so I'll have more time next week.

xojamilaxoCan you post a listing of shipping proof?

Aug 12Reply

katjo@xojamilaxo Hi, if you want to but it's not necessary because once the package is scanned it will automatically send a tracking number via email to the buyer and the seller which is proof that the package has shipped.

Aug 12Reply

katjo@xojamilaxo Taking a picture of the boxes isn't shipping proof, only the scanned package with tracking number is proof that it's been shipped.

Aug 12Reply

xojamilaxoOh okay.

Aug 12Reply

_cjjHi I am new at this how do you get great pics for posters

simranbalHi how r u? I am new to pm. Read your rules of picking a host pick. Can you please tell me what exactly happens if ur item is selected as host pick? Your a great mentor. I wish other host picks would go through closets and automatically know not to select if the person is not following rules. Nail polishes, used bras, perfumes, lotions.....I see it all the time and they get picked.

Oct 19Reply

katjo@simranbal Hello Simi and welcome to Poshmark💗When a listing is chosen as a Host Pick it is showcased in the Host Pick Showroom with all the Host Picks chosen by all the hosts for that particular party. I too wish that all host would abide by the party host/Poshmark rules, every host prior to hosting are reminded of choosing rule abiding closets however, there are some that disregard that which does jeopardized there chances of hosting again.

Oct 19Reply

walkinmyshoes@katjo I'm wanting to increase a $$ I just made on an item. It's not letting me do it from my phone. 😳

Dec 19Reply

katjo@walkinmyshoes When you click on offers it should show your offer and an option to cancel.

Dec 19Reply

katjo@walkinmyshoes Once you cancel that offer you can resubmit the higher offer.

Dec 19Reply

walkinmyshoes@katjo that's odd as it doesn't have that option on my phone. 😳

Dec 19Reply

katjo@walkinmyshoes If you can't find it you can always just ask the seller to decline that offer and that you would like to submit a higher offer.

Dec 19Reply

katjo@walkinmyshoes As a buyer, you may cancel an offer any time before it is accepted by the seller. To cancel an offer, please go to your Newsfeed → Offers → View all Active Offers → select the Active Offer → Help button. Once an offer is accepted, the purchase is binding and cannot be cancelled.

Dec 19Reply

walkinmyshoes@katjo I have already ask her to do that numerous times with no response but she has answered other questions I've had. So frustrating. 😬

Dec 19Reply

katjo@walkinmyshoes There's no "help" button when your in your offer?? You click on that and that's where the cancel button is.

Dec 19Reply

walkinmyshoes@katjo No. I'm going to uninstall & then reinstall the app. My husband updated my phone last night, however it hasn't been acting correctly today. Thanks for all your help Kathy. 😊

Dec 19Reply

katjo@walkinmyshoes You're welcome, anytime. Make sure you have the latest update, that could be your issue. Hope you get it worked out.💗

abstractdreamsHi Kathy, I have a question...I'm generally a good guesser about box weight, but not today. I wanted to go to the p.o. prepared, so I printed a 6# label. I won't be charged the extra if I don't use it, will I?? Thx in advance!❣

Jan 09Reply

katjo@abstractdreams Hi, yes they may charge you if it's over the 6lbs.

Jan 09Reply

katjo@abstractdreams No, they won't charge you for the 6lb label if you don't use it.

Jan 09Reply

katjo@abstractdreams I misread your question so disregard the first answer. That was if you had a 6lb label on at the post office and it was over 6lbs then yes the PO would charge you the difference. Your question I believe is will you be charged for the 6lb label if you don't use it and the answer is no.

Jan 09Reply

abstractdreamsI was confused because of the wording when I was going to also print a 7# label. It did not seem like something Posh would do, charge me for shipping I had not used, but in the 4.5 years I've been here, this is the first time I'm totally unsure about how heavy this box is! Lol! I knew you'd know...thank you!!👍🏽💋

Jan 09Reply

katjo@abstractdreams You're welcome, anytime.💗

Jan 09Reply

courtshipsHi Kathy! I can't find Endless Poshabilities anywhere! I looked at the bookstore and I also tried Google. Is there a link or something I can use? Thanks.

Jan 09Reply

katjo@courtships Hi, it's no longer available as it's now out dated. I'am working on a new one though, hopefully available this Fall.👍🏼😉

Jan 09Reply

abstractdreamsI really appreciate being able to count on you thru the years Kathy!💕They looked at me like I was a nut with all my labels! Lol!

May 11Reply

katjo@nubella Hi😃I'm working on a updated version that I'll be using Create Space to publish through Amazon, it's awesome! Hope you are doing well. Are you going to Poshfest Chicago?

May 11Reply

nubella@katjo hi. Yes, all is well and yes I'll be at PoshFest Chicago. Was hoping to be selected as a Speaker this year but don't really know how they are selected. I speak professionally for the day job. Your book sounds awesome. Can't wait to read it. If you need reviewers let me know.

May 11Reply

katjo@nubella Last year they put out a notification to fill out a form to those that wanted to be a speaker, previous years the staff just selected then notified via email. Not sure how they will do it this year. Good luck to you👍🏼Looking forward to seeing you again! You've done a great job with your closet, love watching you flourish!

mastathrifterHi! I love your store. I have been studying other poshers who look very successful and I haven't seen someone with so many followers as you have! Did you get a lot of them because of your boutique items or did you get those by following people?!!! I'm very impressed!

Dec 27Reply

mastathrifterI just read through your comments here and saw that you said you've been doing it for 3 years!

Dec 27Reply

katjo@kmasta22 Hi, thank you for the kind words💗I’ve actually been selling on Poshmark for 5 years. I started in Oct 2012.🤗

Dec 27Reply

mastathrifter@katjo wow!! I bet you've seen a lot of changes in the culture of Poshmark since you started. I read that it has grown a LOT.

Dec 27Reply

katjo@kmasta22 I find marketing is the key to gaining followers and of course sharing. I always recommend marketing outside the app ie FB, Twitter, Pinterest, IG as well as getting involved in the app, sharing to parties, but of course it takes time, you will find over time your followers will grow.💗

Dec 27Reply

mastathrifter@katjo Thanks for the encouragement/advice! It means a lot! Have a wonderful new years

Dec 27Reply

katjo@kmasta22 Oh yes, it has definitely changed (for the better) and has grown immensely!!!

sdshopperHi sKathy ! Just wanted to say hi. Just getting back on PM more lately. I took a break for a while. Hope you are well!! Xo

Feb 02Reply

katjo@sdshopper Hi Heather!!! It’s nice to see you back.💗😘

Feb 02Reply

katjo@svdim18 Hi, if any item is sold over $500 it automatically goes to Poshmark (posh concierge service) to be verified then it is sent to buyer. This is for both the seller and buyers protection. The only time that Poshmark will not protect a seller/buyer is if they trade. That is done at your own risk.

Mar 13Reply

katjo@svdim18 Yes, if it’s over $500 it will go to Poshmark concierge first, then if she returns it, it will go back to Poshmark concierge first, then to you but it can’t be returned unless the item is not as described. Poshmark will verify and authenticate it prior to it being shipped to the seller.

Mar 13Reply

katjo@svdim18 You’re welcome. Rest assure Poshmark concierge provides you seller protection. Congrats on your awesome sale!💗

designerbebOh my gosh you’re in my backyard!!! I live in Lake Orion .... thank you a hundred thousand times for choosing these classy quality booties!! 💐

Apr 22Reply

katjo@designerbeb Oh my goodness, I’m always so thrilled to meet Michigan Poshers and those Chanel booties led me to you!! If they were my size I would snag them faster then you could say SOLD!

Apr 22Reply

katjo@designerbeb I should of made the connection while looking at your beautiful closet, especially the Jacobson’s listings. I loved that store back in the day, I bought my wedding dress there.

Apr 22Reply

designerbebHi... yes I miss many of the stores from days gone by as well as the designer’s... Jacobson’s, Kay Baum, Bonwit Teller... yikes I’m showing my age ... thanks again for choosing my Chanel Boots... so nice to meet you!!! Hey.. do you think Spring forgot about us here in MI? Lol!!

Apr 22Reply

designerbebThey are more beautiful in person... I think because they are understated (no huge CC’s) it’s taking time to sell them... but for sure the quality is there. I lowered the price by $250.., fingers crossed they will sell soon.

Apr 22Reply

katjo@designerbeb You’re price is awesome and fair on those boots, I wear a 39 1/2 in Chanel but I’m considering cutting my toes off to fit the boots!😜I Don’t know where our Spring is, Winter just won’t leave us alone!

Apr 22Reply

designerbebYou are so much fun... I’m laughing over here!! Yes I’ve put my order in for Spring... looks like next week we might see 50... yippie... yikes look at the time... good night... so nice meeting you!!! Did I say that already?! 🌺

Apr 22Reply

katjo@designerbeb Good night, pleasure meeting you as well. I’m thinking of how much I would save on pedicures if I cut my toes off to fit in those boots!😜

Apr 22Reply

designerbebBeautiful closet...

katjo@designerbeb Thank you💗

Apr 22Reply

morningwithjenn🎉🎉Congrats on hosting today's Sporty Chic Posh Party! I will be there to shop & share. Please also peek in my closet for potential Host Picks, sweetie 🙏🎉

Apr 23Reply

katjo@32feed Hi, thank you. The party I hosted was last night.🤗

Apr 23Reply

toptncatHi Kathy, I came across your closet during your recent party. I always love learning from veteran poshers, and I try to share my limited posh knowledge with new people. (Just celebrated 1 year)🎉 We spend May-Oct in Elk Rapids Michigan. Are you N or S of there? 💕🙋🏼Cathy

Apr 23Reply

katjo@toptncat Hi Cathy and happy 1 year Poshiversary🎉Elk Rapids is up near Traverse City if I recall correctly. I’m about 45 minutes north of Detroit. I love that you mentor new Poshers, one of my favorite things to do. I never forget how lost I was when I started😳nor do I forget who mentored me💗Happy Poshing!😃

Apr 23Reply

toptncat@katjo Thank you, Kathy! I also remember. Chrissy @sunnybirdmarket took me under her wing and pointed me in the right direction. Probably the most difficult thing for me right now is Shuffling my TN or MI closet items to the bottom (not for sale) during the months that I'm away from one or the other. No way I can transport it all back-and-forth. 🙈🙉Does that make sense?

Apr 23Reply

katjo@toptncat Yes, that makes sense. I often wish we could have a private storage option for listings we don’t want showing for those that have Summer homes or to store your Winter merchandise during the Summer.

Apr 23Reply

sunnybirdmarket@toptncat you’re so sweet and have been happy watching you pay it forward! 💕

Apr 23Reply

lindseydashelHiii!! I saw that you made a pair of white Louis Vuitton shoes a host pick recently, this is random but that girl was actually on here by a different name and stole my Louis Vuitton tambourine, she is actually selling it on her page. There is a small black mark on the inside flap that she conceals in both pictures so I can not tell it’s mine.

Apr 27Reply

lindseydashelBut I know for a fact it is I have her address and phone number and everything ! The picture of the serial tag is not from that bag as the heat stamp is on the inside back pocket and the felt does not bunch up that is a picture of another bags serial.

Apr 27Reply

lindseydashel. I am telling you all of this because I am fairly new to posh and that was my first trade at which I received nothing in return of course. I was wanting to ask for advice. I am shaking right now. I worked so hard for that bag and now she is selling it and I I want to cry 😭

Apr 27Reply

katjo@lindseydashel Hi, I’m sorry that happen to you but unfortunately Poshmark does not encourage trades nor back them with Posh protection as stated in the Poshmark F&Q. Trading is at your own risk and not advised.😏Also Poshmark strictly advises not to take any transaction or communication off the app.

Apr 27Reply

katjo@lindseydashel Can I trade on Poshmark? Trading is allowed on Poshmark. However, our Posh Protect policy does not cover trades within the system and the buyer must pay the standard shipping fee for such trades. When payment for the full value of items is not exchanged through the Poshmark system, we cannot guarantee that both parties will ship their items to each other as promised or as described.

Apr 27Reply

katjo@lindseydashel Trading is based on an honor system and is difficult for us to support. For this reason, we discourage users from trading on Poshmark as they are not protected.

Apr 27Reply

lindseydashel@katjo 😞😩 okay that makes sense I’m just so heartbroken and the fact that she has the audacity to sell it !? Ugh 😑

Apr 27Reply

katjo@lindseydashel I’m so sorry, we would like to believe that everyone is honest but unfortunately it’s just not so.😢

Apr 27Reply

katjo@lindseydashel That is why Poshmark does not back any trading.

Apr 27Reply

edgestyleHi Kat, I was Just wondering where I can buy a copy of your book? Thank-you Crystal 😘

jens_corner@katjo Michelle is so great - she thought u might be a great mentor. Started poshing this summer and have found that sharing closets is very time consuming and addicting - any time mgt advice?

Oct 25Reply

katjo@jens_corner It is certainly time consuming but it is key to building your closet/business. I generally share in the morning, a few times in the afternoon then of course during the evening party. Set up a schedule that’s convenient for you, remember building a business does take time. katjo@3565princess Hi, yes you can find people in your city by clicking on Feed, then the icon in the upper right corner with the plus sign, then tap on My City.

Oct 17Reply

katjo@3565princess Ohh I see what your asking now. No, there is no way to contact them as one group unfortunately however you can tag them individually on your sign.

Oct 18Reply

katjo@3565princess I would randomly tag some that are active, understandably not everyone...lol! No, I’m not doing a PNSCS, my Dad just died a few weeks ago. Right now I’m consumed with grief and overwhelmed trying to settle his estate on top of my husband is in the hospital, they have to amputate part of his finger. I’m praying for better days ahead!🙏🏼

wreathsnwingsHello. I'm hoping you can help me..I'm new to poshmark and just sold a wreath bundle. Now I have to ship the wreaths in two different boxes because they won't fit into one box. My question is how do I get two shipping labels for each box. Also is the five pound limit per box or total order? Thanks so much 😀

Oct 30Reply

katjo@snazzywreaths4u Hi, you can’t ship a bundle in two separate boxes. You either have to find a box big enough for the entire sale (weighing no more then 10lbs) or you have to cancel the sale and the buyer will have to repurchase them separately.

Oct 30Reply

wreathsnwingsThank you so much 😀

Oct 30Reply

katjo@vinnlenddash Hello, welcome new Posher💗 I suggest focusing on building your followers by doing some Marketing. Increase your shares will help build followers as well as following others. Networking and marketing is key, use social media ie Instagram, FB, Pinterest etc to add your direct link to your closet.

Oct 30Reply

katjo@vinnlenddash Just be patient yet diligent. It takes time to build a customer base but it will happen if you are consistent and put the time in. Happy Poshing!😃

doorstepthreadsHello, I came across your postings online regarding Tagging and had a ton of questions. Only been Poshing for a few months and loving it! How do you tag someone, why would you want to tag someone, what is mass tagging, and how do you do it or stop doing it? Would love some direction and info on all areas of Poshing. You seem awesome at it! :) Rosemary

Jan 24Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads Hello Rosemary and welcome to Poshmark! To tag someone you just put the @ symbol followed by their username ie @doorstepthreads Sometimes people will tag someone on a listing for example if you list something new and you know someone that is looking for that item. Mass tagging is when you tag several people at the same time. Cont...

Jan 24Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads This is often done when someone is hosting a party people will tag several people at the same time to tell them about the party hosts party. Mass tagging is often frowned upon because it takes up a lot of space in the persons newsfeed so it’s best to keep tags at smaller amount of people tagged.

Jan 24Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads You use a tag when you want to comment to a person so they see the comment. For example if I sell an item I will tag the buyer on the listing they bought to thank them for the purchase.😃

Jan 24Reply

doorstepthreads@katjo Ohhh..that sounds a bit like what I do, I just didn't know that is what it was called. I just considered it a Comment. Yikes, soooo much to learn!😮

Jan 24Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads No worries, you will learn as you go. I’m always to happy to answer any questions so just know there is always help!💗😃

Jan 24Reply

doorstepthreadsHello, I'm back to ask another question...if someone follows you and they have 1 or no listings at all, should you follow them back? Why or why not?🤔

Jan 27Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads Hi, I generally do not follow back if they have no listings. I follow closets that interest me that sell styles/brands I like.

Jan 27Reply

doorstepthreads@katjo Good to know. Also, I see a lot of closets with a Follow Game. Is that something worth doing? Any advantages/disadvantages to that?

Jan 27Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads I’ve never done a follow game so I can’t give you advice on that except it probably can’t hurt if your trying to build followers.😃

Jan 27Reply

doorstepthreadsOK. And one last question for today.....when someone likes one of your listings or puts it in a bundle, how long should you wait before sending them an Offer?

Jan 27Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads On bundles I try to send offers right away. I personally don’t send offers on likes but many people do so that’s just personal preference but many will send offers right away or in batches once a week.

Jan 27Reply

doorstepthreads@katjo One more quick one....is there a rule of thumb regarding what your Offer should be? What is too much or too little to send to buyer?

Jan 27Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads There really isn’t a rule of thumb, Rosemary because only you know what you paid for the item and how much you are willing to sell it for but you can start maybe with 10% off the list price as a starting point.

Jan 27Reply

doorstepthreads@katjo Thanks for the info!🙂

Jan 28Reply

katjo@doorstepthreads You’re welcome😃💗
