mrsalliexo @mrs_suth Not sheer at all. It's solid fabric, thicker not super thin (Enough to not see your undergarment lines through it). I want to say yes, a 4 for sure. If your more on the 6 end it might be too tight. This dress has some give to it, it's not stiff so it will form to your body
