chanookie Hi doll!! This dress would be fabulous for your work party! I'm 5'5" and 135 and it came to where I could put my arms down at my side and the tips of my fingers went past the dress. (I'm wearing it in my 2nd and 3rd pic) I ordered a medium and then went back to the size chart and looked at it and saw my measurements brought me to and XL so I ordered it in the XL as well and I'm glad I did!! I sent the medium back and got the other in the day before nye and it fit perfect! Tons of complements and I was very comfortable all night! Hands down my favorite dress ever!!
