shady101@kzatp0sh Welcome! So if someone bought something today, I would schedule a pickup for tomorrow (the pickup just had to be scheduled before 2 am if that makes sense) I schedule a pickup almost every day haha.

1shoppingmommaI always use this!! also, when you schedule a pick up you get an email with a confirmation number. when the box is picked up you get another email saying it was picked up.. also, if you have a pick up for just one box but have another sale, they will also take that package too..they do get credit for the packages as long as they are 2 lbs or more.. happy poshing ladies :)

janice57@shady101 yep, all I have to do is raise the red flag on my mailbox, I then set the box between the mailbox and flag or at times I've leaned the box against the wooden post that my mailbox is attached to. Ok, I do live in a very safe neighborhood. I've never had to call USPS. Love it. Never have to go to the post office.

grace4dHey there!! We have a community mailbox and they won't pick up even if I schedule it. They tell me to leave my box(es) at comm box but it won't fit in outgoing slot!. I can't leave it just sitting there 2 acres away..in bad weather or to be stolen. any ideas?? I did call the local USPS and they won't make exception even 4 disabled like me (I can't drive). Thank u. shady101@grace4d when you schedule it, an option is to have them pick it up on your porch at your house is what I do because mine don't fit in the mailbox either. Have you tried that? (: I don't feel like they could say no to that since they do it for everyone else.

ashlei_marie333@shady101 this is a great thing to share. I am a mail carrier & I wish more people knew about this! We deliver free boxes & will pick your packages up from your doorstep. Sometimes my customers will just write a note in the mailbox saying they have a package by the door for me to pick up if they forgot to schedule a pick up. Someone asked if they could schedule a pick-up if they have a P.O. Box. Unfortunately we don't do that. You have to be on the route for a pick-up. Great info to share!

I also have a lazy mail lady who doesn't like to get out of her truck. For the packages that are delivered and are too large for the mailbox and should be put on the front porch, she just ties them to my mailbox with a rubber band, haha!
