tippiejax Most people don't like it. You'll find a lot of postings in people's closets about shares: they say "don't thank me, share back". Read the posh FAQ about etiquette, LOL! Also, I was taught 3 big things from experienced users when I started: do not thank for all who "like", don't thank for all who share, quietly return the favor, and never say "interested?" When someone likes an item. I know it may sound strange, but it's the "rule of thumb" on planet posh!😀 @lakeforest am I correct?

lakeforest @tippiejax @mdcblue Here's my take: usually when someone "likes" a listing, I've also been "taught" not to tag that person and say "interested?" My way of thanking a person is to kindly go into their closet and share a few things in return. Also, if I see something of theirs I really "like" too, I'll tap/hit the like icon as well. I think when we were newbies, it was a natural gesture to simply ask if someone is "interested" & to say "thanks for the like, interested?" Obviously, if someone is raving about one of your items and comments, then I'll definitely respond back with a "thank you for such a compliment", yada, yada, as a way to perhaps start or engage in a conversation. But Tippie, you're right, Posh has these "rules" but many of us sing to our own tunes ( haha, I really can sing, literally) and It doesn't bother me one way or another if I keep seeing the "interested" comment.... I just don't reply because it's under their listing anyway and as long as they don't go chasing me down on my own closet page to make the "interested" comment I'm cool with it😊 I definitely ignore the lowballers!!!😁😁

lakeforest Anytime Maria! A lot of the etiquette here is pretty much common sense and yes, I'm the same in public, lol.. or if I'm in a store, I'll acknowledge the sales staff or person & then tell them I'll let them know when I need help😊On Posh, many friendships have been cultivated (you'll see PFF which is posh forever friend) referenced on here often, which has become an endearing term for a friend you've gotten to know well here, etc... So with the long timers, they may convo one another a little different than say you or me. But the majority of gals here are very kind, welcoming & extremely helpful. Have a great evening😘
