Hi!!! my name is Adrienne. I have been selling on Poshmark for about 5 months. I left my job to make PM my full time job. So I am working really long hours on my closet. nadsssss Hi , I'm Nadya . I joined Poshmark to look at name brand items for less. Then I realized I will be going off to college this fall and I need the extra money for books. So i started selling things I don't need or even wear. Including all my old formal dresses. I love the Poshmark community . Everyone is so sweet and welcoming . I've only been selling since February and i've already made three sales (kind of a big deal to me). Now i'm just waiting for people to buy my formal dresses & tom ford glasses. Thats where most of money would be coming from since they're name brand items. Any tips you can give me?

I have looked at your closet and it looks great for the short amount of time you have been on!!! :) This is a great place to save money for school. I am saving money for my husband ( who is a type 1 diabetic) a pancreas!! They are available right now but crazy expensive. But the good thing is that we are selling items we have gotten pleasure from and now can pass them along and make some funds doing it!! The PoshMark community is wonderful. Many Many great woman here to chat with or/and get advice from to help with your closet! That is a great start, selling 3 items, it will just get better and better. And a good thing is Prom season is coming up soon and I am sure you will sell your Prom dresses. As for tips ( like I got when I started) is to share your closet as often as you can. Also list as many items as you can and also get your numbers up in your closet! The ones that say "Following" and " Followers" in the right hand corner of your closet. The bigger those numbers are the better chance you have of selling items. And as you get to know people they will share your closet as you will share there items. Well Nayda! 10clippers Hello all I have been on Poshmark for about 3 weeks! I have been hired to work at a dance school this upcoming school year ❤️❤️❤️yay!!!!! I love dance I was in ballet and tap when I was 5 until high school. I had scholarships to a ballet school and a tennis academy! But sadlyI discovered boys in high school! LOL so I gave up my scholarships :( What a great opportunity for you. I would give anything to be in a dance class again. It looks like you have everything going your way! christi77dur @adriennesweatt hi there!! Im happy you joined posh I really love your closet! ♡ I Started posh almost a year ago to help pay for medical bills. Lupus keeps me from working a regular 9-5 job:( despite how hard I tried to keep one it was only making it worse. I Worked retail and wholesale for 8 yrs before my health got really bad. I sell here and there and I love the poshmark support team they are awesome. I have made lots of new wonderful people and friends on posh, but have encountered many closet trashers and rude ppl as well. For the most part posh has given me a positive and happy selling and buying experience. I look forward to getting on posh daily it keeps fuel in the fire lol. adriennesweatt @christi77dur Hi Christi. I am so glad you started on Posh as well. Happy to meet you! I am so sorry you have Lupus! I know that is a very hard disease to have but you sound as if you are taking care of it head on!! I have bad fibromyalgia. Although it is nothing compared to Lupus I do have problems when I am over worked and stressed! I left my job and I am working on PoshMark full time..It is my main job right now! So I have to sell a lot to pay for our insurance and other bills...It is a lot of work everyday but I am proud of what I have done as well as you should be about your closet! I have run across a few very rude people. I was shocked at first because I am not a big computer person. I have never had trouble with people on social media. But why is it that the internet gives mean people a forum. I guess they can hide behind their computer..HATERS!!!! go away!! : I figured out how to block people very fast! So don't let anyone take advantage of your kindness...I am also on here to raise funds for "Diabetic Awareness" my husband is a type 1 diabetic. He has had it since he was 7 years old. I never realized what a bad disease diabetes is until I married my husband ( Steve).Well Christi I am so glad you stopped by to chat with me. I know I will be seeing you in the future. abatts Thank you for sharing my listings. I see your a friendly posh seller and are willing to share selling tips. I just started and haven't had any sales. Would you check me out. I think my stuff is priced good. I buy at goodwill and thrift stores and resell. I also sell my daughters hand me downs. I try to stay with good name brands and stuff my teen daughter would wear. I've bought and sold in ebay since 2004 and have 1000 transactions in ebay I'm a very high rated seller and have 100 percent good feedback. Also how do you make one of those pictures with four pictures inside its self? That way you can show customers more pictures? Also not real sure how to bundle.

adriennesweatt @abatts Hi Audrey!! Welcome to PM..I happy you are here. I did sell on Ebay as well. I just found it to be way to much work. Especially if you have a full time job. I love the way on PM you can sell something. Put together the package..print out the label..and leave it for the mailman. Wa La done!!! :) As for your closet. I really don't believe in all the pictures in one frame. I think when ppls closet get so busy it is hard to figure out what the item is..I like to keep it pretty and simple. Always make sure your cover shot is an amazing picture. That is what is selling your items. As for selling. Share Share and Share some more. There is a direct link to selling items with sharing. Share other ppls closet and share your own items as often as you can. Get your "following" and "followers" numbers up. If you go into someone closet..in the top right corner you will see the numbers of their closet..Hit the number and a list will pop up. follow all the people there. Do that as often as you can with ppl closets. Use mine! I have 250K Following. Hit that number and the list will pop up and hit every follow button. adriennesweatt @somer2332 Hi Michelle! Welcome to PM. I am happy you are here. I also have had to slow down on work. I have a bad case of fibromyalgia and it changes day to day. So I decided to leave my job and make PoshMark my job. I have a lot of items. I really have 1000's of items I had from when I had an Ebay account. I have so many items of clothes ,jewelry,shoe,purse,etc. It can be overwhelming. But making the transition was very time consuming and a lot of work. I usually work 12-16 hour days. Adding items, sharing closets, and sharing my own closet 2-4 times a day. And getting my closet numbers up. I will tell you Michelle, it can be a bit lonely. I am a ppl person and I am not use to being home all day. My husband travels all week and comes home late on Friday. So hopefully you have a nice family around you. But if you want PM to be your full time job...You can DO IT!! Just be prepared to put in the time. Also there are many fabulous woman here. So kind and willing to help in anyway they can..I have meet some of the nicest woman. I think it is really important that woman support other woman. If we could only do this in the real world we would have a female president!! :) :) I hope I have helped you. You really helped me, and I agree, women need to help women instead of trying to tear each other down all the time because of insecurities. We are so strong as women, think of all we could accomplish if all that stopped?! Way more than a woman president!! Probably an end to bullying and so much more. 😁

If you want to have your items to be possible "Host Picks" you need to be in compliance with PoshMark! Read the official rules from PM. No perfume, electronics, etc. I would make sure your cover shot is fantastic. It makes such a difference in sales when your cover shot looks good. I had some cover shots that were not very good. abatts It's me again. If you bundle an item so a customer then you never hear back from them can you sell the bundle to another customer? What is the posh rules on this. As soon as I lower a price / or bundle people are all over the item. Can just anyone purchase it? I've taken a new pic of the bundle and put their name on it? What do you do. I know it can be frustrating but stick in there it will change. One thing is make sure your cover shot is a really good picture of your item. That is what people first see to get their attention! And SHARE, SHARE, and SHARE some more!! If you want you can read back through this thread and see some of the things I have told other new Poshers. adriennesweatt @melanieshea I can tell you how to trade. Its easy..I have done it twice and It was great. I traded a purse for the heart necklace I showed you! Find someone you like and trust and trade with them. I don't usually trade because I am trying to make money on here!! lol !! so I don't even look in others closets because I will lose my mind. And I have sooooo many items to sell it just so silly for me to buy anything. I am trying to unload here. But sometimes I will see something I just have to have!! melanieshea Oh sis, just wait until you see what all else I tagged you in... it makes me so sad because I left the mall job (I loved it so much that I chose to NOT use my finance degree) b/c Jon wanted me to stay at home... ugh. My life is a mess. I'm gona take some time to write the email to you. Thank you for making me feel loved again. All I EVER wanted was to be a part of a family; my mother left my father when I was 9, moved us frm TX to KY, & she knew my Daddy couldn't afford to fly us in all the time! When I got my first bad grade (I was an A, sometimes B student) on mu high school report card, it felt like I was such a let-down to her... and she told me THAT same school year "I give up on you, Melanie. You're going to do what u want, so eff it, I give up. Do whatever the *bleep* you want..." It broke me.

adriennesweatt @melanieshea I will write back to your email. I am sorry your mother acted like that Mel...As a parent your don't get a choice to just quit....quitting and parenthood don't go together, ever! That breaks my heart because I always taught I would have a big family but it has ended up being me and Steve and our doggies..I hope you feel wanted..Because you are. xoxox A

tissaduke I've only been Poshing 3weeks and love sharing. I started playing follow games but it's a bit overwhelming sometimes. I love it though and have lots of ? About just how things work - the unwritten rules. I follow the rules but have seen many who do not. Do you tap the report tab or just let it go as I have?it's a she they can't respect this wonderful concept.

mickydkat The Dairy Queens group was the first group I ever joined.....I think maybe I started in October or November? Can't quite remember but it definitely helps! 😜Did you end up signing up for any of the other groups I tagged you in?

adriennesweatt @mickydkat Kathi, I am so sorry..I don't know. With finding out that my sweet dog has cancer and my aunt having it too. My mind goes a million different places. But thank you so much for tagging me. If you wouldn't mind tagging me in the other ones you are joined to I would really appreciate it. I am still kinda new...:) so it can be a little confusing! princesscece Hello! I actually joined in 2011 from a Facebook invite, not knowing what it was really about. This year I revisited it and have gotten addicted. I've purchased a few items and have really been trying to learn from all of you. I'm working hard to improve sales and get followers. Everyone has been so kind and supportive. Hoping to grow and be as successful as many of you!!😘
